07/05/2026: C'Trobon has changed owners and is now called Noodle House. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has also dropped from 5 stars to one. The soup tasted bland and like salad instead of broth, the dumplings were equally tasteless, and the filling wasn't a delicately seasoned shrimp stuffing, but rather contained an unidentifiable mass alongside a single shrimp.

01/05/2026: Affordable and delicious! Noodle lovers, come and try it! We finished everything but forgot to take pictures. We ordered a serving of six xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), a serving of braised pork belly with rice, and a beef stew noodle soup. We weren't expecting much, as the menu outside made it seem like any random French-style "Chinese restaurant." But we were surprised when the xiaolongbao arrived: they tasted freshly made and steamed, with a very "homemade" flavor; the braised pork belly had a very homey taste, and the pickled cucumbers were especially refreshing 🤤; the beef noodles looked freshly pulled, kind of like knife-cut noodles? Very delicious, the broth was slightly like pho, but with the owner's homemade chili oil, it was incredibly fragrant… (the chili oil, hot broth, and a little cilantro…) I asked, and the owner is from northern China, having lived in Sichuan and Chongqing. The shop mainly sells noodles, so it felt like a northern style, but the chili oil was just what I, a Sichuanese, like: those who can't handle spice shouldn't add too much! A little in the broth really enhances the flavor! Many shops have Chinese people advertising on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), but this shop doesn't seem to have done so. Judging from the comments, it seems the shop may have changed hands several times. I hope my long review gets seen; noodle lovers can check it out and leave a comment. The owner seems very honest, so I support them!

15/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, certainly one of the best in Belfort. We've been going to Château de Chine for several years now, and we've never been disappointed. Whenever we return from abroad, it's always one of our top choices. The welcome is always warm, the staff is friendly, and we've even been able to bring our dog without any problems, which is really appreciated. The food is excellent: the spring rolls are truly delicious, the noodles are wonderful, and the dishes are always flavorful and generous. You can tell it's a serious restaurant, consistently high-quality, and clearly deserving of its reputation. For us, it's a sure bet in Belfort. A restaurant we recommend without hesitation.

12/05/2026: Two words to describe my Bobun experience: delicious. The dry-cooked shrimp are a delight for the taste buds, perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. Now let's talk about the side dish: the fried flat beans—I've rarely tasted vegetables cooked so well… In short, go and ask for the traditional menu; it may not look like much, but it's full of gems! 11/05/2026: Excellent place! The bo bun is delicious and the Chinese fondue (very spicy) is very generous! PS: Special mention for the dry-cooked shrimp, one of the best dishes I've had in Bordeaux.

09/06/2026: I ordered a pad thai and spring rolls for takeout by phone. They were ready in 20 minutes, and the meal was very good and satisfying. The spring rolls were served with lovely lettuce and mint leaves. I'm delighted with my meal, especially considering the great price! Thank you

12/05/2026: I've been going there for two years now, and it's truly the best bobun I've ever had! I live far away, but just for their bobun, I'd drive 50 minutes to savor their food! Their bobuns have a truly unique taste that you won't find anywhere else, especially their sauce, which is amazing! I absolutely love it and wouldn't hesitate to go back from time to time despite the distance ❤️

01/05/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant, which does not comply with French smoking laws. I asked the staff to warn another customer who refused to put out his cigarette during my lunch and who bothered me with a cigar. I finally left the restaurant without eating and decided to file a complaint with the relevant authorities. A hygiene inspection may take place soon. I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years. Today was the last time. I will never set foot in there again.

16/01/2026: These are truly excellent, authentic Chinese noodles. The portions are generous, and you can get seconds if there's any broth left. Prices have certainly gone up, but restaurants also have to make ends meet in this economy that affects us all. If our grocery bills are rising, so are theirs. If you want a great bowl of noodles in Caen without spending hours at a restaurant, I highly recommend Changshou!
