The chicken was perfectly grilled and flavorful, the rice delicious, and the side dishes were excellent. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned. We enjoyed it from beginning to end! 27/09/2026: MUSIC TOO LOUD! Excellent place. Tried it for lunch with the Mrs. Shawn set menu, very good value for money. There's a good selection of everything: starters, main courses, desserts, even if it's naturally more limited than the à la carte menu. A glass of wine is included in the set menu. The new decor is more understated than the old one, which I really liked, but it's still clean with a touch of whimsy. My only major complaint is the music is much too loud. Not at all pleasant for those who wear hearing aids, something that probably didn't even cross the designers' minds.

10/05/2026: An absolute gem in Paris! We had an incredible dining experience at Choy. The Japanese food was exceptionally fresh and flavorful – honestly, some of the best I have ever had. What made the visit even more special was the service; the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from start to finish. If you are looking for authentic and high-quality Japanese cuisine in the 9th arrondissement, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Each dish is prepared with care and love, giving you that lovely feeling of eating at home. The flavors are delicious, and there's a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. Nothing is too greasy, too salty, or anything like that: everything is flavorful and well-balanced. We enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end! Unfortunately, the menu offers virtually no vegetarian options, with only about one appetizer. Luckily, the understanding server spontaneously prepared a vegetarian main course upon request. 22/10/2026: Great place. Large portions, inexpensive, and very cozy. The Tom Yum is juicy and delicious. Good selection of sauces and toppings.

18/10/2026: Fresh and flavorful dishes with three levels of chili peppers. Level 1 is already quite spicy; for those who prefer milder spice, it's best to add more chili to taste. I would definitely go back a third time. The service is fast.

13/10/2026: I've been eating there for years; this weekend I found a cockroach in the accessible toilet! It's a shame I'd already paid the bill because I would have asked to see a manager and asked not to pay (there were 10 of us). It disgusted me and put me off because if there's one, there are bound to be hundreds more! They must be roaming EVERYWHERE at night! In the kitchens, on our plates, and so on! Furthermore, when I arrived, I ordered an aperitif but refused to drink it because the bottom of the glass was covered in brown crusts! (Clingy droppings, perhaps?) I will NEVER go there again; there's nothing more disgusting than cockroaches in a restaurant! And I won't be recommending them.

03/10/2026: I called at 9:40 pm on a Friday evening to ask if my son and I could go there to eat. They told me yes, but that they would be clearing the buffet at 10:30 pm. Okay, no problem, we'd have time to eat. Then at 10:40 pm, they clearly showed us the door and told us we were leaving now. I'm sorry, but I found that very inappropriate, especially on a Friday evening. Where is the respect for the customer?
