26/04/2026: We ate there in April, and it was impeccable, nothing like the restaurants in the Paris region. The restaurant was clean, the food fresh, and don't be fooled by the rating; we really enjoyed ourselves. It was a complete buffet, not a huge selection, but the quality was there. My partner, who isn't usually a fan of this type of restaurant, was completely won over.

11/04/2026: Intrigued by the rating, we cautiously entered this Chinese buffet restaurant on Thursday at lunchtime. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-stocked and varied buffet. The service also deserves praise, as our plates were cleared quickly. This Chinese restaurant is definitely above average. Go ahead and try it without fear of being ripped off. It's worth the trip.

03/07/2025: We had a great time, the Lebanese cuisine was a great discovery. The starters were well presented, and the value for money was reasonable! We found the place friendly and we will be happy to come back!

15/06/2025: We have been customers for years and we have clearly seen the quality of the snacks deteriorating... this evening was the apotheosis, the boss arguing with his employee and the quality of the taouk sandwich, falafels which are at least J+5, let's hope we are not sick... there is nothing more to say for us, it's goodbye, too bad, before it was very good, maybe the boss should ask himself the right questions....

31/05/2026: The great thing about having lunch or dinner here is that you can choose your own menu based on what you're in the mood for. Plus, our waitress is amazing ❤️

31/05/2026: The staff were unfriendly, and for Mother's Day there weren't many choices. I don't recommend it at all.

11/04/2026: The buffet wasn't very varied, the quality was just okay, and the desserts were very limited in quality (defrosted). Let's just say we had an experience we won't repeat because there are much better options.

14/04/2026: We've become regular customers, ordering delivery directly from the restaurant. I recommend always ordering through this service and not Uber Eats. The portions are generous, the delivery time is clearly stated when you place your order, and the delivery time is always respected, with only a few rare exceptions. The staff is very friendly. For lovers of Vietnamese cuisine, it's clear that Mekong always takes great care in helping us discover or rediscover this rich and flavorful food!

20/02/2026: Takeaway. Very disappointed, despite being regular customers. Various spring rolls and prepared dishes, a bit of everything: caramelized pork, lemon beef, curry, lemongrass chicken (we were still looking for the lemongrass)... everything was very bland and tasteless, the portions were too small. We won't be going back. A real disappointment.

12/05/2026: I'm a regular customer at this restaurant, which certainly lends some credibility to my opinion. Closed or open? It's true, you never really know; the rather austere storefront doesn't exactly invite you in. However, the welcome has always been pleasant and friendly. Usually, there's only one person to greet you, take the money, and keep the buffet stocked… not easy, even though I've never seen more than six customers at a time… but the smile is always there. Keeping the buffet stocked… that's where the problem lies. The dishes gradually dwindle and aren't always replenished. Regulars know it's best to help yourself on your first visit 😊, but given the low number of customers, you can understand the benefit of cooking "to order" and avoiding waste. As for the quality: the spring rolls and fritters are good (not homemade). The main courses are of inconsistent quality and sometimes difficult to identify 😁 Pork and chicken, what sauce??? But there are some pleasant surprises to be had, especially with the fish. The desserts are homemade and delicious. In short… decent Asian cuisine in Casteljaloux at a very affordable price is fantastic!

04/03/2026: 5/5 reviews 🤔 How is that possible? Horrible restaurant, pathetic buffet, terrible quality, and a waitress more interested in chatting with a friend than serving. (There were only 3 customers in total with us.) We were completely ripped off... Oh, and I almost forgot the dysentery that followed in the afternoon. In short, avoid at all costs.

17/03/2026: The welcome was appalling, the food bland, the meat had a questionable taste—I didn't even touch it—not to mention the sordid atmosphere and decor. Finally, the hygiene was catastrophic; I'm going to contact the health department. It's unacceptable that such a filthy establishment can serve food!

30/11/2025: Found this wonderful, inviting restaurant on my solo walk to the Eiffel Tower. I had the Prix Fixe dinner: spring rolls, Thai Beef with Basil, and the most scrumptious coconut flan with coconut icecream. I also had one the specialty cocktails and it was so delicious (don't remember what it was called, but it was green magic)! Truly one of the most unexpected and delicious meals of my week in Paris! By the time I left the restaurant at 9:30 pm, it was completely packed with mostly locals. That's a great sign of a popular place. Highly recommend this gorgeous and top quality restaurant!!

27/11/2025: During our stay in Paris we tried Villa Thai the first time and came back a second time Because the food was so amazing. Personally this was the best Thai food I’ve ever tried. I highly recommend them if you’re in Paris. You won’t be disappointed! Their customer service is 10/10, as well.

27/02/2026: We went twice this week. The first time, we arrived at 1 p.m., and most of the dishes were empty. We asked if we could refill them, but were told no. At 1:30 p.m., after asking if we wanted more appetizers, the staff started clearing the plates—it was very stressful. The second time, we went at 12:30 p.m. Some dishes must have been popular; there was still some left, and by 1:30 p.m., they were clearing the plates. Also, the sushi was very mediocre. Apart from that, the staff was pleasant, and the dishes were mostly good, but not plentiful.

24/02/2026: My stomach hurt all night!! It started barely an hour after I left that restaurant. Avoid at all costs!
