13/03/2026: The hotel exceeded my expectations; the rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious. The service was excellent, and I was particularly impressed by the dinner at the restaurant. The value for money was excellent.

11/03/2026: Very warm welcome, very good health protocol, beautiful, quiet, spacious rooms, hotel well located near the train station and the city center, some rooms have been refurbished, very good breakfast. Hotel that continues to restore.

15/03/2026: Passing through Troyes, I absolutely loved this restaurant! It was incredibly delicious, very generous portions, and the service was top-notch. Honestly, the value for money is unbeatable!

18/02/2026: Magnificent setting, ideal location, friendly welcome, comfortable room. The only drawback, and a significant one at that, was the breakfast: for €32 per person, you only get a croissant, a piece of bread, and a rusk so hard you could break your teeth on it. And when I dared to ask the young woman serving if it was possible to have a second croissant, I was curtly told, "No, it's one per person! We order them according to the number of guests, and it's one per person." And of course, she didn't offer me anything else. Needless to say, as soon as I left the hotel, I stopped at the first bakery I saw. In short, as someone accustomed to five-star hotels and Relais & Châteaux properties, I felt like I was in a run-of-the-mill youth hostel! This was my second stay at the Maison de Rhodes (the first must have been in 2018 or 2019), but I don't recall such a mishap, otherwise I obviously wouldn't have come back. But now I've learned my lesson: never again!

15/02/2026: We had a wonderful Valentine's Day stay at Maison de Rhodes. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, the rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, and the restaurant was intimate with quick and attentive service (we even had the opportunity to chat with the chef who came to make sure everything was going well and share a few secrets with us). A stay at the hotel that made us feel right at home!

30/09/2025: We enjoyed a three-course dinner here, and the price-quality ratio was excellent. The service was efficient and friendly.

07/02/2026: Got stranded by bus at McDonald's. They wouldn't let us in, so we decided to go to this pizzeria. It turned out to be the best choice. Super fast and friendly service. These people really helped us out. The pizza was also super fresh and delicious.

03/03/2026: I never give my opinion after leaving a restaurant, but this time, exceptionally, I only have one word: disgusting. Even the white rice wasn't good. If you're allergic to MSG, stay away. In any case, stay away; it's a disgrace to the restaurant industry.

02/03/2026: A pretty good restaurant. I started with a Thai cocktail (light with rum, mint syrup, and fruit juice) which I found a bit under-sweet (a shame) and rather uninspired for €6.50. For a starter, I had Thai shrimp soup (the broth was very mildly spiced and not very flavorful) for €9.50. For my main course, I had ginger beef (€13.50) with white rice (€2.50). The dish arrived beautifully presented and piping hot. The ginger was definitely present, with chunks of it, and the spice was just right, so it was quite good for €13.50 and still piping hot. For my drink, I had jasmine tea (made with leaves, so very good) which was rather bland but did the job for €3. The cutlery consisted of plastic chopsticks (a shame), a standard metal soup spoon (a shame), and a cloth napkin (very nice). In summary, I paid €35: I ate enough but it was a bit expensive (about €7 too much) for this evening meal without dessert.

05/03/2026: It's a shame there wasn't at least one smile, otherwise it was very delicious, but it was market day so it wasn't accessible.

10/01/2026: Perfect location, exactly as described. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The food is excellent, and the morel pasta is absolutely divine.

01/03/2026: The ice rink is great for children. It's a shame when you're accompanying them. When you're waiting for your little ones, you can't step out for 5 minutes. Or you can, but you have to go back to the ticket booth...

24/02/2026: It was our first time here and honestly, we received a very warm welcome! The team was super funny, they even looked after our child's bike for us 😆 Thank you so much! ✌🏻

02/03/2026: These people are incredibly unpunctual. They say they'll open at 4:00 PM. It's already 4:25 PM, and we're still waiting.

27/10/2025: 10/26/2025. Refusal to play my PMU games claiming that the machine was not turned on at 10:30 a.m.!!! FALSE. The 2nd terminal is not an obligation and takes longer with a lot of games to redo. The PMU will be aware.

24/02/2026: This is the second time my friends and I have come here, and we're very disappointed. The first time, we sat down at a table, and a woman came over and told us to move because it was reserved, even though there was no sign indicating that. We had to move in a draft. What's more, the waitresses are very cold; it's almost like we're bothering them. The other time, it was the same thing: we asked questions, and they answered in a blasé manner, as if they didn't want to be there. Very disappointed. The place is beautiful, but the staff are not at all!

15/02/2026: Seriously, one orange juice, endive with ham (and I mean one endive and two small boiled potatoes), and one coffee => bill over €24. It was the second time I'd eaten there, and I remembered it being expensive; this time it was confirmed! You're better off going to the Portuguese restaurant; at least you get what you pay for!

14/02/2026: The owner runs it all by herself, okay. She prefers takeout orders to table service, I think for management reasons. We tried the table service, and the food was very good! The atmosphere was nice at first, but then the phone orders started piling up. Just as we were paying, she was more sighing than anything else. I'm giving it 4 stars.

05/01/2026: I find it impressive and amazing that this woman does everything herself. I called to order and picked it up 30 minutes later without any problems, and it didn't take much longer than in a traditional restaurant. Thank you!
