20/05/2025: We haven't been there for several months because we were very disappointed, this Saturday lunchtime May 17 we wanted to try again: same comment, nothing attractive in terms of the meal, ratatouille rather revisited really not appetizing!, dessert with defrosted blueberries with softened dough; too expensive for very basic cuisine, not ready to go back

30/09/2024: Meals and wines have increased excessively. We had to wait until 6 p.m. to find out the 7 p.m. menu... it's a little late

04/09/2025: This is my third time going there, and I won't go back to anything disastrous, but if it's to get spring rolls, samosas, and other processed products, no thanks. And if it's to have to systematically ask for sauces or salad with mint to accompany the spring rolls, no thanks. Plus, the salad dressing isn't the sweet white sauce, but a sweet vinaigrette, and I didn't get any spicy red sauce for my samosas, so I'm done asking. As for the rest, it's still good and homemade, like the spring rolls, which are very good, and the hot dishes, which are probably good too, and which are generally good, even if it's nothing to jump for joy about either. To sum up, not everything is bad, you just have to choose the right products and not be too demanding.

01/10/2024: Waiting more than 20 minutes for pork ribs because the kitchen staff was not organized. The girl who was in the kitchen was really not pleasant with her colleague in front and it was a spectacle in front of the customers who were waiting for the famous pork ribs. She even said well, give them a plate that people can use as vegetables while they wait. I don't see the point in eating unlimited vegetables without meat 🤦‍♂️ I understand why the staff doesn't stay after...

26/09/2024: Restaurant owners need to understand that when you order fish it is to eat fish and not a fish and beef mixture. I ordered a hake fillet this afternoon. I got a fillet with lots of small pieces of beef steak. Luckily I smelled it before tasting it 😤

17/09/2024: We are stop here only for coffee and croissants. We were disappointed!!!! It was no croissants, then I ordered madelein and it was Horrible!!! Not fresh at all, it was in the plastic bag as from any cheap shops and the quality was super poor. When I asked different one, the waiter said that he had all the same. Even no, sorry, and money was taken for this rubbish madelein!!!!!

22/09/2024: We booked one night in July for mid-September. We called to reserve the restaurant on our journey (4 hours drive). We are told that it is not possible for us to be customers for the evening because there is the grape harvest and the hotel has been booked for 1 month for the event. We explain that we booked 2 months ago so we must be one of the people who filled the hotel... having received the details of our arrival by email that same morning, it must be an error. The answer to what seems to be responsible: you are not the only ones, booking is responsible. She was totally detached from the situation, didn't really care, No empathy.... I told her I was shocked that she didn't even apologize... But no recognition of their mistake! This might involve checking your reservations before booking all the rooms for a single guest. Fortunately we called despite the welcome emails.. we had to find a hotel at the last minute and were not able to enjoy our evening as was supposed to be the case.. Brief commercial service to review..

13/09/2024: Made a reservation weeks ago for a layover night. We arrive and are told that everything is full, despite our reservation. Don't even offer another location. We here are super dissatisfied.😆

26/01/2025: Very good relaxing weekend at your establishment. Very warm welcome, very smiling and attentive staff. Very clean establishment and very beautiful decor whether in the rooms or the restaurant. As well as chef Bonnet who is very welcoming, very friendly and who offers a very good menu. Thanks to the whole team.

22/01/2025: Disappointed, honestly for a 4 star, we had an appointment at 10 a.m. yesterday the receptionist arrives at the same time as us it's quite tricky I think to arrive at his post at the same time as the customers, then we enter the locker room the cleaning had not been done and my bathrobe was dirty. I was able to tell the hostess and her response was sorry I didn't work this weekend. Sorry but from Saturday to Tuesday I think it's absolutely unprofessional. No action was taken. Then at the end we proceed to payment I give my payment in cash and again this obviously posed a problem because she had no change Really disappointed and unprofessional.

09/07/2025: A very friendly place... A pleasant break in a typical Champagne setting... Clean, quiet rooms... An oasis of relaxation surrounded by fields... As for the restaurant... Perfectly mastered local cuisine in a rustic, old-fashioned setting... A true Proust madeleine... A waiter, Clément, is as kind as can be and tries to satisfy his guests as best he can... A wonderful discovery... To be repeated...

05/07/2025: Dear readers and parents, this short message is to let you know that if you wish to place your children as interns at the HOTEL RESTAURANT "LA MANGEOIRE," you will not be disappointed. This is ironic. Our intern son received a very warm welcome from the staff. Congratulations again to them. The same cannot be said for management. The boss is unpleasant. During breaks, the interns are called back to clean, and what's more, the established schedule is ridiculous, since they try to make them work seven days non-stop without a break. When this lack of professional diligence is highlighted, management uses harsh language toward the parents protecting their tired child. It's said, "He's packing his things and getting out." Fortunately, the alert given to the human rights authorities cut his internship short. We cannot take advantage of the credulity of these young people starting out in professional life. Hoping that this doesn't happen again and that the management of this establishment will grow from it. It's not a given when you see all the negative reviews directed not at the service but at the management.

26/08/2024: We're not going to lie, if we come to this kind of place, it's only to fill our stomachs. We were passing through the region on a Sunday evening, not really a choice. Be careful with the toilets which were very far from clean.

23/01/2025: I come almost every Thursday between 11 a.m. and noon to get my sandwich to go. Today I arrive at 11:30 a.m. The doors are locked, there are staff inside with all the lights on and I am told it is closed even though on the site it is marked open. I don't find it very serious, it seems more like the staff doesn't want to work. I'm in front, it's 11:35 a.m. and two people can come in to place their orders. They weren't able to tell me that it opened at 11:30 a.m. even though on the site it said open since 10 a.m. Because I looked at home before leaving. I have the impression that people are making fun of me.

27/09/2024: Good morning, for having worked for 2 months in this fast food restaurant, or at least this “recycling center” it fits better with what this McDonald’s represents, I can confirm to you that the kitchen is just as dirty as the dirty itself, while waiting for your orders, don't worry, the team and managers prefer to spit on the customers' backs, or even make a fuss in the kitchen, because yes, it's their hobbies and their priorities , rather than handling customer orders, for young people like me who want or wanted to apply, in a word, run away! the director will sell you a dream during the interview, and after using you for 2 months she will fire you as if nothing had happened. and last thing, a manager called Marine, has nothing to do there as a manager, she prepares orders in the kitchen without an apron or charlotte, never present in the afternoon rush (she prefers to smoke that little electronic cigarette all afternoon behind), judges the customers, all that instead of cleaning up the mess, here are today's managers, it's a shame aha, but hey it seems normal for them ! :) have a good day to all of you. 😉
