26/08/2024: Very good burgers, delicious fries and very friendly team. The recipes are original and very tasty. We had a good dinner with knowledgeable children. Special mention for the Neruda crispy chicken.

20/08/2024: On our return from Piedmont to Brussels, we stopped at this hotel. We stayed there in the annex, Susan’s hotel in a decent room. As other travelers have noted, it was very quiet and we were surrounded by greenery. The buffet breakfast was good and the price very reasonable. We decided to have dinner there. It all started very badly. As an aperitif, my wife had a pressed orange juice guaranteed to be fresh and of the highest quality. It tasted questionable. The lady brought us the bottle of juice: there was a brownish deposit at the bottom of the bottle and she assured us that it was normal. I doubt it. I thought I was reliving the Schpountz scene with the tropical anchovies. As for me, I asked for an amber beer. I couldn't use one because there was too much foam. So I had a lager which I didn't particularly like but it was, I was told, a local beer and it is quite possible that other people will like it (we can hope for the brewer). So we had some apprehensions before sitting down to eat. As it was very hot, the meal took place on the terrace with a very pleasant panoramic view. Unfortunately we were unable to choose our table and my wife found herself with the setting sun in her eyes. Fortunately there were dishes that saved a lot of things. My wife had duck breast, blackcurrant, pakchoï and Panisse fries while for my part I chose the Veuxhaules trout steak, vegetable tatin, ratatouille juice. Everything was excellent and sufficient. We then had the cheese platter which we did not regret at all. In conclusion we had an unfortunate experience with our aperitifs which spoiled our stopover a bit. For the rest everything was correct or very good and the quality/price ratio was excellent. In conclusion, if you go there, I advise you to have a glass of champagne as an aperitif (which most tables did).

26/06/2024: THE BEST IN TROYES!!! already there is always a warm welcome with smiling and pleasant people. The sandwiches are prepared at lightning speed. As soon as you have finished placing your order, everything is ready, all you have to do is enjoy. Back in Troyes after 20 years of absence, I was desperate to find a good kebbab. Now I found and I keep this good address. Too good and never sick after eating compared to others in the city center.

10/06/2024: Very very fast service, I must admit. Seasoned fries of fairly good quality, meat and sandwiches acceptable nothing more. The price is a little excessive on the other hand, 11th the menu with Turkish cheese.. For less expensive in other establishments in the city you can have the same menu of the same quality or even better with Turkish cheese at only 8th And the bread will be homemade even though it is industrial... It's a shame at this price we could at least have the sauce to take away please otherwise the taste was ok without more

21/09/2024: Another moment of conviviality spent at the Hippopotamus, very good food, good atmosphere, special mention to Frédérick our dynamic server who was attentive and warm, we will come back!

21/09/2024: Very good meal, and an excellent atmosphere, in particular thanks to Yasmina who knew how to make us have an incredible time in her way of being with us, who knew how to adapt to our humor, which allowed us to laugh together while ordering the dishes! Thanks to Yasmina for this good time, and this exemplary service (and for learning how to carry several dishes!) See you soon

16/08/2024: Very warm welcome, very attentive and friendly staff. Typical setting and double terrace, well located establishment. In terms of dishes: light semolina, succulent vegetables and merguez; mutton and chicken fondants. Very good address. 13/09/2024: Very disappointed. We came two years ago and it was good. What happened? Damaged furniture rickety table torn chair. Waitress with dirty sneakers! Mediocre meal, bland and fatty steak tartare, MacDonald style fries. Music too loud. Infectious! We will not come back again and really regret our 70 euros in this establishment which has changed a lot 😣

11/09/2024: There were 8 of us this afternoon at the Courtepaille de St Andre and it is sad to see that the quality is no longer there, the service time is long for 4 tables to be served in total. The drink arrived at the end of the meal! The Irich coffee was served when everyone else had finished their dessert No friendliness from the servers On the other hand, the hefty bill! Very low end restaurant

18/09/2024: On the way back, we stopped there, it took us a lot of good. Very nice room and the owner Also. Let's take 2 recommended menus Starter salad Morteau hot potatoes Chopped dish (fresh from the butcher) pea shots with a cooked onion sauce, a treat Dessert to match with aperitif and drinks For 51€!!!! Go there at lunchtime only

18/08/2024: The room for 4 people that we reserved was clean but in its original state, it could do with a little renovation. That said, we slept very well and the breakfast was plentiful but simple.

31/07/2024: What a nice shop and tea room! We had a drink here with the family and something tasty to eat on the terrace outside. Super nice service, with a lot of attention to details and preparation. Lots of choice in tea and coffee. Recommended!

25/07/2024: Delicious food, Bavette was superbly prepared. Sangria on the house. It's a bit out of the way but a good restaurant for a reasonable price. Desserts are huge.
