04/04/2024: We had lunch 3 weeks ago at Georges Blanc in Vonnas 3* Michelin. Well here for a 1* Bravo!!! Everything was perfect, the weekday lunch menu at €49 with 2 glasses of wine, mineral water and coffee, it's exceptional value/quality!!! I recommend ! And the top staff at top, special mention to the sommelier...👌

03/04/2024: We just ate here and the truth is I'm a little disconcerted. We have gone at a time when it has lost its Michelin star, although I have always thought that it has absolutely nothing to do with providing good service. We wanted to try the signature menu but it seems that this is served at night, something that is not explained when making the reservation on their website. So we ordered the menu of the day, since it seemed more interesting to us than the more expensive option, for the simple fact of being able to taste a greater variety of dishes. They have offered us a tasting of bread with oil. They offered us two drinks as an aperitif, without explaining to us that they are not included in the price, with two small tapas (which were correct). The dishes had a beautiful presentation but did not justify the price, both due to their size and the raw material (the haddock, for example, could have been replaced by hake or cod and the price would have made more sense). With the desserts more of the same. The wines on the menu are correct too. Throughout the meal they have only offered each diner a piece of bread. Only another small piece of bread has been replaced by those who have ordered cheese for dessert. In short, we left hungry. The service is a little slow, that is, at least I counted 5 waiters and a waiter, and they made us wait about 20 minutes between courses. The truth is that I am sad to say that I would not return nor do I recommend it having other options in the city. A shame

03/04/2024: This evening, I had the privilege of enjoying an exquisite dinner at the pizzeria of renowned chef Rabah Zaoui. I arrived without company at 8 p.m., without having bothered to book in advance. What audacity to appear like this, without notice, in the establishment of a world-renowned master! Naturally, all the tables were taken. However, with unparalleled courtesy, I was invited to wait on the terrace, where I was generously offered appetizers, thus testifying, in a way, to their gratitude for my spontaneity. After a few moments, I was warmly invited to join the restaurant, where I was comfortably seated in a quiet corner. This is where an extraordinary culinary experience began, masterfully orchestrated by an attentive, efficient, courteous and precise team. It would be superfluous to praise here the exceptional quality of the products served, the almost arrogant expertise in making perfect pizza dough, as well as the subtle balance of flavors. Of course, the meal ends like the rest, with a team as attentive as ever, a chef who takes the time to greet each guest, thus ensuring that their experience is as pleasant as possible. Chef Zaoui, allow me to address these words to you: I am aware that in the current context, ratings, Google and SEO are crucial issues in the face of excessive competition. However, in my eyes, you have nothing to prove, you are an artist, and your establishment reflects a lifelong investment. Sincerely

28/03/2024: Today we had dinner at this restaurant. The portions are large and the taste is above average. Service in English is a plus. Minus the room with a kitchen in which there was not enough exhaust power and the burning smells were worrying. The restaurant is located in the basement and there is little air. Overall rating 3 out of 5.

28/03/2024: This restaurant was chosen based on good reviews and ratings. It is located on the 0th floor. We were met by the chef, our order was prepared very quickly. It was delicious, good prices. Fish soup, squid with rice, fish were all delicious. Minus one - there is no hood in the room.

04/04/2024: Place located in the new city (on the outskirts of the old town) that offers a well-priced menu with 4 starter courses, a main course and dessert. We have eaten well and calmly. The place is not very big and the atmosphere is close and familiar. Alright!!

30/03/2024: Paid a return visit to our favourite restaurant in Carcassonne. We have been coming here for many years and have appreciated the freshness and originality of the menu as well as the excellent service. The service is still excellent but alas something has changed with the kitchen. There is nothing to distinguish from other restaurant menus any longer. My husband enjoyed his main course (sauté beef) but none of the other dishes were noteworthy. The decor inside has also changed and the lovely concept store where you could spy things to buy while eating seems to have gone. Such a great pity!

30/03/2024: Bistro atmosphere for a great time and tasty dishes with good products. Very friendly boss who knows how to run the service and put you at ease. The toasts are varied and well cooked. The beef marinated with spices is also excellent although I would have appreciated a little more spice. The desserts are a little below the main course but we enjoyed it overall and recommend it!
