10/08/2024: En visite dans la région, nous avons trouvé le lieu parfait pour un plat rapide en famille. La nourriture est très bonne, les patrons accueillants, souriants et attentionnés. La petite salle à l'étage est très agréable. Un excellent kebab à recommander à Cognac.

Elle m a accompagné avec son parapluie jusqu'à la voiture et à fait de même avec toute la famille
Même le menu végétarien est très bon
Mon fils s y rend de temps en temps et c est lui qui nous a fait découvrir un bon kebab à Cognac

07/09/2024: Very friendly and smiling welcome in this restaurant where the dishes are delicious: perfectly cooked duck breasts, tasty foie gras with delicious vegetable accompaniments. We do not regret this unplanned lunch stop and we highly recommend it.

16/09/2024: We had lunch sat outside in the sun. We can speak a bit of French and the staff a bit of English, so we managed to muddle through. Really good food and great atmosphere. We and our dog were made very welcome.

17/08/2024: Un accueil souriant et chaleureux, un cadre très agréable en bord de Charente une cuisine traditionnelle gourmandes et généreuse le risotto au crustacés a la bisque de homard un régale je recommande vivement
14/08/2024: Une seule soirée à Cognac et je mise sur les excellents avis sur ce restaurant... Quelle erreur ! Les plats n'ont rien a voir en terme de dressage avec les photos des internautes.
Mon risotto vénéré est ignoble (je pèse mes mots n'ayant pas l'habitude de prendre la parole négativement ici) . Renvoyé une première fois car froid et reçu en deuxième service avec gambas et moules micro ondées en texture ramette de papier.
La viande de mon compagnon trop cuite et les pommes grenailles attendues étaient des patates à l'eau.
Au prix des plats c'est se moquer du monde.
Passez votre chemin en attendant le retour d'un chef de cuisine à la hauteur.

21/09/2024: The Dutch owner is super nice. Large pitches with shelter, table and fridge (we are a couple of cycle tourists in a tent). Clean sanitary facilities. Small grocery store, bar and restaurant on site. Ideal for cyclists because on the EV3 route (Scandiberian)

Our hosts run a tight ship and could not have been helpful when we had a major spillage - we look forward to our next visit !

The few times I managed to order the dishes were incorrect, this problem has been going on for months now, it might be time to take action to correct it
17/09/2024: We say let's have a meal to change a little BK... 3 children 2 adults to take away... in front of a great film...
We arrive and bingo... not the right sandwich for me... I call them, they ask me to come back... 10 minutes to go... get there... I wait, they give me back my sandwich...and nothing! No compensation... they are stupid, I have to come back... 10 minutes there and 10 minutes back... I arrive home... everyone is done... Seriously you ruined my evening!
