04/04/2026: A must-read! I certainly don't want to tarnish the image of this McDonald's franchise at Gare St Jean; I've eaten there regularly until now. The lunchtime service is efficient and helpful, and the burgers are generally very good. However, be wary of the evening service; one of the employees may be more careless and apparently disdainful of some of their customers. After complaining some time ago about the absence of my fries in my order and being reluctantly exonerated, I was able to appreciate last night the malicious revenge of the person responsible for this unfortunate incident, for which I held no grudge. He arranged to personally take care of my order to concoct the most execrable Royal Cheese imaginable. The steak was nothing but charcoal, the sliced ​​onions were nonexistent, but as if that wasn't enough, I strongly suspect he maliciously omitted to remove the plastic from the cheese before melting it. I struggled to swallow a few bites of this expensive joke before developing a persistent taste of petroleum in my throat, not to mention the nausea and other adverse effects I've been dealing with for a good day now. I even considered going to the emergency room for fear of being poisoned. I have no certainty about the exact details and sequence of events, but I do know perfectly well who is primarily responsible. He already demonstrated his hypocrisy and contempt for me after my first, entirely legitimate, complaint. I don't believe I can prove my claims, but I want to warn anyone who might question such unacceptable service that they will face unforgivable and potentially even dangerous reprisals. I will try to alert the management of this restaurant so that this cannot happen again, and if you experience similar problems, I urge you to do the same for everyone's benefit.

I tell him, "Sir, you don't have to open the door if you don't want to serve." He replies, "I'm not here to do nothing, sir. You need to be respectful to elderly people. I'm 70 years old. If you can't manage your temper and your orders, you should hire someone." Very rude.

23/02/2026: I went to this kebab shop today with low expectations, in a hurry, and not in the best mood. However, the incredibly friendly staff immediately put a smile on my face. The gentleman who served us exuded a wonderful vibe and his cheerful demeanor brightened everyone's day. I want to thank him for being such a joyful person in the hospitality industry (which I know firsthand is very difficult) and for bringing joy to everyone around him. The food was delicious, and the white sauce was amazing!

She was surprised to see that she hadn't been served. Ten minutes later, it was finally handed to me in a medium-sized pouch with a stand. But no napkin. The pouch and stand were useless. "Hello" to waste! The service was very poor. And €4.95. Prices have definitely gone up. I won't say "See you soon," but "Goodbye."

21/03/2026: Arriving at the drive-thru before closing time, our order was swapped with the one behind us, which can happen. Since the kitchen was closed, I asked for a refund (from a very unpleasant woman, probably a manager) to go to another McDonald's, which she categorically refused, telling us to come back tomorrow, even though that wasn't possible. The other car returned, and she suggested swapping the bags, which is completely unhygienic. The service and problem-solving were a complete failure; frankly, it's regrettable. The order wasn't even correct. Avoid this place.

09/03/2026: Hello, I usually go to this McDonald's which is right next to my house. On Monday, March 9th, at 9:30 am, I went in and the woman in orange didn't even say hello or goodbye. I simply ordered a large Coke with ice and a small wrap—a very simple order, yet she gave me sparkling water with ice. So I went back to McDonald's and politely explained that she had made a mistake. Not even an apology or goodbye. I was shocked, and she even forgot the ice this time! Frankly, it's shameful, such a lack of respect. I rarely leave reviews, but honestly, this person disgusted me. Mistakes happen, to err is human, but to behave like that in customer service is shameful. She should change careers. I restrained myself from being vulgar in front of her; I still said thank you and goodbye, but frankly, I've never had a problem with the staff at the Talence McDonald's, as I come very regularly.
