26/07/2026: Impeccable and fast service, attentive staff

26/07/2026: — An experience to avoid, Thursday, July 23, 9:30 p.m. Incomplete order, frosty reception, no respect for the customer. That's what awaits you at this McDonald's in Bordeaux-Lac. Several items were missing from my order. Faced with this easily corrected error, I was met with utter contempt by the management. Rather than acknowledging the mistake and resolving it politely, the managers present adopted a condescending and unpleasant attitude, as if reporting a problem were an offense. To top it all off: when I asked for their names to identify the people I was speaking to, they categorically refused to give them to me. This refusal speaks volumes about the seriousness of this establishment's management and its complete lack of responsibility towards customers. Customer service worthy of the name begins with transparency and respect, two concepts clearly foreign to the management team at this restaurant. If you're looking for even a modicum of consideration for your money and your time, I strongly recommend you go elsewhere.

13/06/2026: What a pleasure to have this restaurant near a high school and to be able to eat there at any time of day! The atmosphere is more than pleasant and the prices are unbeatable. It's a nice place to take a break between classes and relax over a coffee.

02/04/2026: A café just the way we like them: friendly, great value for money with a homemade daily special. A fantastic team and the owner, Laurent, is lovely! I highly recommend it.

12/08/2026: The quarter-pounder burger meat was tasty; the rest were dry and bland.

09/08/2026: Visit conducted around 4 p.m., outside of peak hours. Despite minimal patronage and a full staff, the situation remains appalling: neglected tables, obvious dirt, and restrooms in a nauseating state. The team had ample time to maintain the premises in pristine condition. A simple order of refreshments required a wait of over 15 minutes, only to be delivered without the requested ice. When the order was corrected, a staff member was remarkably condescending, despite the error. Finally, tolerating the continuous beeping of the fryers for over an hour demonstrates a lack of professionalism and a blatant failure of supervision.

16/08/2026: A very bad experience. I waited 20 minutes only to receive a cold order. On top of that, they wouldn't accept my meal voucher, even though it's usually accepted every day. The cashier simply explained that she didn't know how to process it. When you're a regular customer, it's unacceptable to waste so much time for a cold order and not be able to use a payment method that's usually accepted. A truly disappointing experience.

14/08/2026: Very good McDonald's, especially the young Paul who was very friendly while serving him.

21/07/2026: An exceptional setting, both calm and elegant. The welcome was warm and professional despite the crowd. Without hesitation, I recommend this restaurant to lovers of refined French cuisine.

22/07/2026: Had to ask for the drinks from the menu. The food was good. Only one out of two toilets was working, dirty, and overcrowded.

14/07/2026: Amazing hidden gem. Cheese forward menu (cheese cave is AWESOME!), but duck, salad, and other dishes are good as well. Wine selection is perfect for the menu and prices are reasonable. Staff is kind and thoughtful. Just try to be respectful with "all you can eat cheese"... don't take large slices and leave a lot behind

03/06/2026: Only go here if you like cheese! This is quite unusual and unlike any place ive visited. It is literally cheese for starter, mains and pudding. All other options are off. The owner is is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable on cheese and wine. There is a special climate controlled cell for the cheese which you can visit. I'm not sure I would want to go again the cheese was totally fantastic but I would like to mix it up with something that wasn't cheese.

07/07/2026: Tout a changé depuis 2 ans je ne reconnais plus le kebab de mon enfance, qui pourtant était si bon.. la viande a changée, les frittes aussi ont changées, elles sont molles et baignent d’huile.. la viande n’est plus aussi goûteuse.. c’est bien dommage, vous ferez mieux de revenir au vieilles habitudes qui était très bien et beaucoup plus qualitative..

15/07/2026: The Google rating doesn't really reflect the experience. The staff was pleasant and the service efficient. The meal was very good, though not haute cuisine. The prices are reasonable.

10/07/2026: Cool room, delicious smoothies, calm atmosphere ideal for chatting, relaxing, or working. The waitress was very kind and helpful. Homemade pastries (brownies).

08/07/2026: Ube Latte is fantastic, a real find. I love the calm atmosphere for working, and the friendly staff. A great place to go.

28/07/2026: I placed a Click & Collect order. When I went to drink my vanilla milkshake, I realized it tasted like coffee. So I went back to McDonald's to report the problem. The man I spoke to didn't apologize or explain what had happened. He simply asked a colleague what to do, without saying a word to me. My milkshake was simply replaced with another vanilla one, without any apology or gesture of goodwill. Mistakes can happen to anyone, but the way the situation was handled was disappointing. A simple "sorry" or a little more consideration for the customer would have been appreciated.

18/07/2026: We ordered online, arrived, waited 25 minutes in the parking lot, and our order still hadn't arrived! We decided to go inside only to be told our order had been given to someone else, so we waited another 20 minutes for it to be ready! And in the end, we only got half our order! It's getting worse and worse; it's not the first time, it's exhausting! €50 worth of orders for half of what we got 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

28/07/2026: The slowest McDonald's I've ever seen. I went there today for a sundae and a Coke. I placed my order at 2:02 PM and at 2:25 PM, still nothing. I had half an hour, so I got a refund. The manager offered to let me take my order anyway, but with 35°C heat and on foot, what am I supposed to do with a drink and a sundae in each hand? 🤔 There were probably only about twenty people eating. So, not exactly crowded. However, the employees' table (in blue shirts) seemed to be taking orders quickly. I won't be going back.

28/07/2026: Arrived around 9:00 PM. 10:00 PM, still no order. An hour's wait for nothing, I asked for a refund!! I never usually leave reviews. But this is a disgrace. I don't blame the manager who tried her best, except for her handling of her team's departures and/or breaks. Perhaps asking them to stay 10 minutes longer would have made all the difference, I think. As a result, no one was available to serve at the counter 10 minutes after my arrival. Only one order was served in the dining area in an hour. And the second one, after an hour, wasn't even the right one. Meanwhile, you see all sorts of things. Non-existent handwashing (using cell phones occasionally, even while making fries!), a team member making a salad practically at the counter and then taking it directly from the bag to put it in the container. The person serving drinks was practically putting their fingers in their mouth to nibble on toppings from the ice cream machine or whatever. Meanwhile, they're allowed to drink, but they have to leave their cup by the dispenser, risking someone else using it for a customer! And the same drinks that were supposed to be served in the dining area haven't even been moved. So much for freshness! It's summer, people are going on vacation, there are last-minute cancellations... The image you're projecting is that revenue and profitability come first. I used to come regularly. This was the last straw! You'll still have thousands of customers a day, but not me anymore, that's for sure.

02/08/2026: In the afternoon some burgers are reheated.

06/07/2026: The staff was very disorganized, very slow, and lost without taking orders. We arrived at 1:40 PM and ate there. (There were three of us.) We left at 3:00 PM. The wait to be served was too long.

17/08/2026: While on holiday in the area, we had a lovely evening meal at Le Tegalet! Our choice of galettes was more than good 😉 generously filled and delicious. I highly recommend this very welcoming crêperie! Christophe and Élodie
