22/08/2024: Everyone around me recommended that I go there. We were outside, this little garden is very sweet. The dishes are succulent, cuisine that pleases the taste buds. I understand the excitement around this restaurant better now. See you soon

22/08/2024: Tout le monde autour de moi me recommandait d'y aller. Nous étions à l'exterieur, ce petit jardin est d'une grande douceur. Les mets sont succulents, une cuisine qui fait plaisir aux sens. Je comprends mieux l'engouement autour de ce resto maintenant !

29/09/2024: We came to the Guinguette de la Marine yesterday afternoon, we were very well received by a waiter who seated us straight away at our table. The rest of the service staff said hello warmly to us when we passed them, a nice touch that we find less and less in restaurants. We had a butcher's cut and the dish of the day (Saturday) which was pork belly smoked with beech wood (if I remember correctly) with roasted baby potatoes and a pan of oyster mushrooms and shiitakes + mustard sauce with ancient. In addition to being more than generous with the sauce, the quality of the products and that of the cuisine was incredible. If you think it looks delicious in the photo, I can assure you right away, it doesn't just look like it. We really had a pleasant time, service, cuisine, atmosphere and setting I have nothing to complain about. We had stopped by during the Lille clearance sale and had already had a great time. But outside of the sale period, take advantage of the quality and creativity of the dishes they offer, they are definitely worth the detour. For our part, we will definitely come back!

13/07/2024: Monsieur Jacques is a real Lille institution. The service is great and the wines are good. I removed one star because we ordered a mixed board (price: 21 euros) which, in fact, arrived on a normal plate and not very well stocked with cheese and cold meats. There was a lot of salad in the middle. In short, I found it a bit outrageous to see such a small plate for 21 euros. This is for me a point to improve.

02/07/2025: Value for money, nothing to complain about! A simple and effective menu. The daily special is different every lunchtime. Reservations are almost mandatory! It's always busy, which is a testament to the quality!

Nothing to complain about, from starter to dessert, everything was good, tasty, friendly and impeccable service. The only downside was that we were in the veranda and it was very hot. Air conditioning would be welcome. We recommend the place.

And yet I'm not picky... for a chip shop in the North of France I told myself that I was going to enjoy some good homemade fries: well no, industrial fries too dry... even if they were industrial they had to be bet on those of better quality aj less...I'm sorry for this opinion because the staff is really friendly and the place pleasant but throwing the food in the trash makes my heart.. ..

04/08/2024: I went several times this evening Sunday August 4th it was only 2 prepared one of them was absent I waited 1 hour but I take my hat off to them because they would all do to go as quickly as possible so forgivable the young girl with very glasses friendly and always smiling, congratulations to the team
