21/08/2026: A business school clown started dancing on our table

09/08/2026: The Shamrock, a must-visit for any self-respecting Lyon student... But that was a different era. What can I say? I'm back in town after several years of wandering, hoping to have a good time. Feeling a bit tipsy, I decide on a Long Island Iced Tea, a safe bet even at €10 a cocktail. Imagine my surprise when I find only one type of liquor poured into my glass, and stingily at that, topped off with a flat Coke that had been open the day before (the original recipe: gin, rum, vodka, triple sec, and Coke). Naturally, the drink tastes like some disgusting, old-fashioned vodka and Coke from a nightclub. In short, a disappointment, but somewhat mitigated by the darts, the atmosphere, and the fact that the place itself is unchanged.

09/06/2026: Sometimes good, but unfortunately the menus are very limited in variety and the staff are sometimes unfriendly.

21/05/2026: The carpet is comfortable underfoot, which is the only positive point. Charging 6 points for a plate of soggy, cold fries is outrageous. Furthermore, the other meals, like the one in the photo, aren't very substantial; three zucchini thrown onto a plate with their cooking water isn't what I call service. It feels a bit like being treated like animals being fed kibble. I don't recommend it.

25/08/2026: At the drive-thru, when they handed me my order, I asked the person if they had included the sauces. They said yes. When I got home: no sauce.

22/08/2026: Ordered a double fish and at mealtime ended up with a fillet fish 😒 too bad I was already on my way!

15/09/2026: Watch out for the staff licking their cheddar-covered fingers behind the counter… at least do it discreetly, you greedy thing 😋

15/09/2026: We arrived in a 9-seater minibus with passengers with disabilities. The parking space was extremely narrow, with only 5 spaces crammed together, making maneuvering impossible and forcing us to reverse. We ended up getting takeout and eating cold food upon arrival at our rental. Furthermore, the wait was interminable; many people kept returning because they were missing items. It's truly a shame.

13/09/2026: The service was appalling, provided by the lady with a braid. No greeting, no polite words; she treated us like cattle. The sandwich was bone dry, and I'm still looking for the spread in the doughnut. Be careful where you sit to eat; the place is dirty.

09/09/2026: In addition to a "brioche" sandwich that was so dry it was almost unbearable, the extremely unpleasant welcome will kill your appetite; the saleswoman (the oldest one) was disdainful and unfriendly, with no politeness whatsoever.

05/09/2026: This is the first review I've ever written. I arrived at this restaurant with my daughter in the extreme heat (we had to go outside several times to get some fresh air). We waited quite a while while the employee finished two Deliveroo/Uber orders, all very slowly, sighing, and nonchalantly pacing back and forth across the restaurant. Those two orders took forever to come out before she finally got to mine, only to realize she'd forgotten another order and ask me to wait while she prepared it. Obviously, I left, having wasted time, sweltering in the heat, and unable to order because there was no way I was going to wait another minute. And let's not even mention the green flies buzzing around the food and the unpleasant smell that hits you as soon as you walk in.

24/08/2026: Serious hygiene problems (flies and food that looks questionable). The staff are incredibly slow and unprofessional, whispering in front of customers and then laughing gives a very bad impression. Are they mocking their customers? Are they laughing at something completely unrelated? We don't know, but well-mannered people know how to behave, especially in a professional setting. Furthermore, when one employee is cooking while another is "cleaning" when there are other customers, it would be good if they stopped "cleaning" and helped their colleague to avoid customers waiting almost 30 minutes when there are only six of us waiting for our order. Given all the recent reviews repeating the same problems, WHERE ARE THE HYGIENE DEPARTMENTS?

29/08/2026: Goog food. And good yellow cups to take home but not a lot of breakfast options. Like 3 burgers

26/08/2026: Order for one person: one of the two apple pies ordered was missing, and the sundae was completely unavailable. This isn't the first time; I don't think I'll be going back to McDonald's Chaponnay.

25/05/2026: The pain au chocolat is mass-produced at €1.70 and the espresso is quite expensive at €2.20. At that price, I would have at least appreciated not having to serve myself: bringing my own coffee and clearing the table.

12/04/2026: We went in just for a coffee. The price was outrageous considering I ordered at the counter, brought the coffee to the table without a saucer, and then had to return the cups in their crate of dirty dishes. Avoid this place; it's no longer the Croix-Rousse spirit.

01/09/2026: The food itself is delicious, just like in all McDonald's. I can't say anything about cleanliness, since I picked up my order at home. The hallway where they give out orders looks more or less acceptable. However, I didn't like that I had to wait 15 minutes for my order. Half of the ordering machines weren't working, and some were slow. When I came in the evening, some of the machines didn't have any paper to issue a receipt for payment. Overall, my impressions were average.

31/08/2026: ⭐ 1/5 — A completely abandoned restaurant I came on Saturday, August 29, 2026, and it was simply appalling. The dining room was dirty, the tables hadn't been cleaned, the trash was overturned, and the toilets and furniture were in disrepair. The chairs were so wobbly that I had to replace them three times! Table service is nonexistent, the service is extremely slow, and the staff seems clearly understaffed and unfriendly. And the prices have become exorbitant for such poor service. The most unbelievable part? The restaurant was practically empty on a Saturday night, while KFC, Quick, and the other restaurants nearby were packed. It really feels like McDonald's France has completely abandoned this restaurant and no longer wants to invest in it. At this rate, they might as well let Burger King take over, which could certainly make better use of such a location. A truly deplorable experience. I won't be returning anytime soon.

16/09/2026: Terrible service at the drive-thru. Disorganized McDonald's. It took forever to be served. They got their order wrong. This is supposed to be a fast-food restaurant, lol 😱😂

16/09/2026: Best McDonald's in Lyon!! The terrace is very pleasant, the interior is nice and the whole team is very friendly :)

27/08/2026: Very disappointing review Frankly, a disastrous experience. 🍟 Cold fries, barely edible nuggets, and we had to wait 5 minutes for napkins, even though they're supposed to be included with the order. The cheese fries? Hardly any cheese at all… to the point that even my kids couldn't finish their nuggets. And to top it all off: dirty toilets, uncleaned tables, we had to clean up ourselves before we could sit down properly. We go to McDonald's to eat quickly and in a reasonably clean environment, not to pay full price and have to ask for things or clean up after others. It's probably time to seriously review the organization and quality of service. A very bad experience, I do not recommend it.

27/08/2026: Very disappointed with my experience at the McDonald's in Saint-Bonnet-de-Mure. I was at the drive-thru, having placed my order. When I arrived to pick it up, I politely said good evening to the manager, but she didn't even respond. She immediately told me to go back and reorder. Then, I overheard her talking to her colleagues, and she said, "There's a guy who wants a Happy Meal." Frankly, I found that incredibly disrespectful. I'm a customer; a simple "good evening" and a little bit of respect doesn't cost anything. And to top it off, when I received my order, most of the food was cold. My hamburger was cold; I couldn't even eat it. The fries weren't even salted, nothing at all. Honestly, they lack professionalism and attention to detail. Very disappointed with this experience.

31/08/2026: Disgusting. The toilets stink and are filthy, and there's no hand soap. I regret booking; I should have checked the hygiene beforehand.

31/08/2026: The whole restaurant is really dirty, the service is slow, which is surprising for a McDonald's. They need a manager.

15/09/2026: I was warmly welcomed by two excellent salespeople, one of whom was very hospitable, professional, and friendly. At the end of the day, a smile is much needed. This salesperson's name is Sofiane, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your attentiveness and advice. You also sold me a very good Viennese coffee.

02/09/2026: I generally like Pauls pastries, but this chocolate croissant was frankly undercooked. I politely pointed it out to the vendor.

17/09/2026: I had breakfast this morning and the welcome and service were deplorable. A pancake cost €7 when the menu photo showed two, and it didn't even include banana. The waiter forgot the hot chocolate; when I asked, they didn't even apologize. I will never return.

14/09/2026: Great, Paul! They have a great place to relax. Their ice cream is amazing!!!

22/07/2026: Meh, I went there for the first time and it wasn't a success. A hot "thing" made with pizza dough, it doesn't hold together, it's dripping, and it's very sparsely filled. Very, very disappointed

23/04/2026: Luckily, the restaurant across the street was there to save my freezing lunch, and it's clear the vendors are being exploited.
