The aperitif was served after the main courses!
You have to ask for the bread and the carafe of water because they don't come automatically, even though they say they'll bring it to you… It's a shame.
17/01/2026: The welcome and service were efficient and friendly. I had the Brasseur sauerkraut, which was very generous for under €15. The dining room is quite modern, and the only slight drawback is that it gets rather noisy when there's a group having lunch.

27/10/2025: I think even my dog would have refused this taco—and he eats socks.
The bread was as dry as a Sunday without Wi-Fi, the meat tasted like something ancient, and the merguez sausage looked like it had been invented by an angry apprentice chemist.
If you're looking for a culinary experience bordering on divine punishment, go for it; this is the place.
In short: a taco so bad I wanted to apologize to my stomach for putting it through that.

12/03/2026: The worst kebab I've ever eaten. To tell you the truth, I didn't even finish the meat.
I don't know how it's possible to make something so bad, and I'm a real glutton, but even then I knew better than to eat any more of that meat. The guy took my plate and told me, "First of all, I'm so annoyed, I shouldn't get kebabs in the evening because they're no good!"
I have nothing against him personally; he was nice, but I think quite a few people have had stomach problems after going there.
First of all, let's start by not turning the grill off and then turning it back on; that'll help a lot.
Anyway. Avoid it.

19/12/2024: Currently eating, order 11:30 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. I ask where it is. Oh forget to do it. No apology from the manager, they give me my order cold! Everyone looks at you askance and looks at you insistently. It's not what it used to be! Apart from saying it's the temperatures there is a wait. No, my order was validated without being made...
Forced to eat there, no more time to leave...
You shouldn't come and complain if it closes one day... and to say that I worked there for 5 years, the managers as well as the directors were very respectful of the customer, well today it's over and for a while of time in fact, which is why I very rarely go back there. To please the children, that’s all! Customer service for today doesn't even deserve 1 star!
15/12/2024: Staff not very friendly, where I was sitting with my son I saw the girl eating pieces of meat that she was cooking. When I received our orders, everything was cold. The cheddar was still hard on the meat and in the fries, cold bacon and hard cheddar. I made a complaint and no one came back to us or after 30 minutes I put everything in in the trash and we went to eat elsewhere. and to close at the exit my son fell on a more than wet floor I went to tell the counter but nothing moved. a very friendly gentleman came to help me pick up my son and said to the waiter he deserves a little gift. but no nothing, not a little note for my son, nothing at all. and WC very very room. I don't thank Macdo Dieppe at the belvédère. not ready to go back. pay 30€ to throw everything away and found my son on the ground too much for me. a shame

29/08/2024: Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant sind wir beim CanCan stehen geblieben, das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Hund wurde nett behandelt. Das Essen hat uns dann sehr positiv überrascht und die Präsentationen der Gänge war erfrischend anders. Absolute ein toller Abend mit leckerem Essen auf der Terrasse und Blick auf das Treiben am Platz.. Empfehlenswert.

Having already been to Le Chat Bleu, and having had good memories of it, I returned to this restaurant.
Online booking. We tried to call to add 1 place, no answers despite 3 calls.
Once we arrive, we receive a rather cold welcome, we start being told that "it's not going to be possible", then a "go see if you can squeeze in up there".
The table only had 5 place settings, despite our reservation for 7, and a chair was missing.
When we took our order we were told: "No food this evening, only burgers, we're not making falafel fries either. We're not turning on the fryer, it's too hot".
No more excuses.
Quick look around, the customers behind us had fries. We are told that "yes but then it was seen with the boss".
We then ask for the accompaniments with the burger. "Nothing.".
We are served, then she continues her service and comes back with fries for other customers?
The moment of the bill comes when we are asked about our satisfaction, what audacity to answer "no",
response not at all admissible a priori, since "the food was good, wasn't it?".
But when we have service like this, yes we have the right to be unhappy otherwise we would have taken takeaway.
As a bonus, “but it’s a heatwave, you have to think about the people who work”, a heatwave at 20°C.
When we ask for explanations about the fries served at the tables next to us, they are “oven fries”
therefore of "less good quality" and "there would only have been enough for 6", apologies to be reviewed.
In short, half of the menu available (also depending on weather conditions), but good food nonetheless. Above all a big lack of professionalism on the part of the staff.

13/10/2024: Este fue un lugar increíble! El servidor hablaba inglés, así que eso ayudó, jajaja! Tuvimos un "correo viejo" y un daiquiri, ambos eran increíbles! Agrega un poco de música de teclas bajas y un lugar tranquilo para hablar y es una gran receta para una experiencia increíble!

And the bartender Alex is a champ! 😁Usually I don't like cocktails, preferring wine. Now I know that cocktails are incredible when prepared from the heart!

02/03/2024: Chaque nouvelle commande était une déception. Passé 21h : 30 centimes en plus. Pain payant pour une planche. Et ce n’est même pas du pain mais du pain de mie. Service long… et j’en passe ! D’autres bars Rouennais seront bien plus accueillants
