28/05/2026: The rooms with sea views are truly lovely; I fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The hotel has a nice atmosphere. You do have to be prepared to climb a very long flight of stairs from the street, and then another flight or two. But the hotel has a lot of charm. The €10 breakfast is ordinary but adequate, with very friendly staff. The restaurant, however, is another story. It has a beautiful sea view, which is nice. But the prices are high for average quality. And above all, in our case, the service was interminable... an hour between the starter and the main courses... an extra glass of wine that finally arrived when we had finished everything... (with a "you're welcome," seemingly to teach me some manners after my failure to say thank you!). It was very annoying, a shame. We obviously decided against having dessert for fear of being stuck there even longer.

16/05/2026: Television with only one working channel, no hand soap, only one power outlet in the room, breakfast at €10 per person with very limited choices… Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Only the view from the room is decent. The reception also needs improvement…

13/06/2026: Ordered last night via Uber Eats: very disappointed. Half of it was missing: we ordered the €21 Golden Menu but didn't get the glass and one burger was missing. I don't recommend it: it's expensive for what we got.

11/06/2026: A very bad experience at the McDonald's in Montivilliers. I went to place an order to eat in at 7:50 pm. After waiting 20 minutes without any news about my order, I went to the counter to check if something had been forgotten. An employee then brought me a tray containing four drinks that I had never ordered. I pointed out the mistake and asked him about my order. After taking my receipt, he simply told me they had forgotten about me, without offering any apology. The situation worsened when the manager came to see me. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, she adopted an accusatory tone, claiming she had to check the security cameras to make sure I hadn't already received my order. I felt like I was being blamed when all I was doing was asking for an explanation after a long wait. After checking, she finally realized that I had indeed never been served. My tray was then brought to me without any apology, without a word of courtesy, and with an attitude I found particularly unpleasant. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of professionalism, the complete absence of an apology, and the way I was treated are unacceptable. I am very disappointed by this experience and I do not recommend this establishment.

23/07/2026: I was very satisfied with my visit to this McDonald's! Despite the late hour (around 1 a.m.), the service was quick and efficient. A big thank you to the entire team, who were particularly pleasant and smiling, from the manager to the cooks. It's truly wonderful to be greeted with such good cheer, even in the middle of the night. I will gladly return!

18/07/2026: I am very disappointed with my experience at this McDonald's. I ordered a McDeal with a chicken burger. Upon taking the first bite, I realized I had been served a beef burger. I called an employee over to point out the mistake. She simply replied, "I'll bring it right back." At no point did she ask me to return the burger, so I finished it while waiting for the one I had actually ordered. A few minutes later, the manager came to our table and informed us that she couldn't give us the chicken burger after all, because the first burger should have been returned. I explained to her that the employee had never asked us to return it. Her only response was that the employee had only been there for a week and hadn't known. I find this justification unacceptable: a communication error within the team should not be blamed on the customer. In the end, I never received the burger I had ordered, even though the error was entirely the restaurant's fault. A simple gesture of goodwill or a product replacement would have been enough to resolve the situation. Instead, I was left with the feeling that my complaint wasn't being taken seriously. A very disappointing experience, both in terms of service and incident handling.

15/07/2026: I came to pick up a meal order and used the drive-thru. It's not the first time this has happened to me; I already left a comment about it, but it wasn't taken into account. The person was unpleasant. On Sundays, the menu wasn't honored; I was given an iced tea instead of Coke, and my sandwich was completely different. And like I said, it's not the first time. At some point, they need to check things properly. This needs to be reviewed.

26/06/2026: I left a very positive review in 2022, but unfortunately, it's no longer run by the same person. An incident occurred this evening: I wanted a smoothie from the menu (with no indication that it was unavailable) and I took the liberty (after asking permission) of going to the restroom to change out of my swim trunks and into trousers for my train. I came out of the restroom after changing, waited for the woman to serve her customers, and then asked for the smoothie I had come for. She told me she wouldn't make it, without any explanation or apology, but it didn't stop there: she demanded that I give her money or buy something because I had used her restroom (what a joke!) 🙃 I complied by ordering a coffee I didn't want, given her excessively harsh tone, but I didn't appreciate this experience at all, nor this lack of consideration and customer service. As a Parisian who has been coming to Dieppe very often for a long time and has many friends who own property there, I'm going to give it a great advertisement! If you're not nice, you avoid working in a seaside tourist town...

16/06/2026: So-so. Undercooked rice, black avocado, some items out of stock. Rather disappointed for a first visit. The waiter wasn't very enthusiastic.

10/06/2026: Okay... the view of Lyon is nice 👀. BUT THAT'S NOT EVERYTHING 😟. The whole team was great at welcoming and serving 👍😀. However, I found the menu minimalist 🍽🍷, the dishes arrived almost cold, and the price is relatively high 💰💰💰. A shame for such a renowned establishment.
