11/08/2024: Je me suis régalé un accueil très professionnel et la qualité des plats servis étaient remarquable je recommande la viande au feu de bois sans hésiter

07/07/2024: Testé il y a quelques jours avec un ami. J'ai bien aimé le cadre, tout en pierre, un peu sombre... c'est appréciable... mais on peut regretter qu'il n'y ait pas la clim' d'activée (surtout avec le grill). Le service est souriant, sympa, mais un peu sous l'eau! Côté nourriture, j'ai bien mangé... tout ce que j'ai pris était bon, plutôt copieux... une super viande (en plus au grill!). Ma seule déception venait des entrées: l'os a moelle est tout minuscule... et surtout quand on connait le prix, c'est vraiment abusé. Globalement je trouve le prix des entrées bien trop cher (alors que le reste est "classique"). En tout cas, j'ai passé un bon moment, j'essaierai de revenir!

07/08/2024: Endroit calme et agréable avec la fontaine mais le serveur grand et chauve peu avenant, non souriant et se permet des réflexions concernant des pieds d’un enfant de deux ans sur le siège. Nous comprenons sa remarque mais il y a des manières de demander les choses poliment et gentiment. Bien pour le lieu, nul pour le service.

20/07/2024: We ordered a gin and tonic and a caipirinha, not good. The gin and tonic was served in a tube glass, no tonic, tasted like still water. L caipirinha in a large glass with ice cubes, not crushed ice, not great. Too bad, the setting is really very nice.

09/03/2024: Stipulated open this Saturday 9/03, 40 minutes of driving in the rain to find the door closed... how sad not to warn customers of a change of schedule. To avoid

24/04/2024: Very bad experience, waffles not available, pancakes reheated and dry. I returned the crepe after one bite. It was billed to me despite my dissatisfaction. I insisted not to pay for the pancake and now they threaten me with calling the police!!!! After some very vigorous exchanges with the waiter in front of all the customers for 3.5 Eur (for me it was a question of principle), the owner arrived to settle the dispute. I threw the money in his face when he finally dropped the matter! This restaurant is really not commercial and the food is not good at all. To flee!!!

03/08/2024: Fougasse with bacon without bacon…. A simple piece of bread for €2.60. And very small pain au chocolat but it was especially the fougasse that got me drunk.

08/08/2024: Accueil plus que désagréable. Refus de la serveuse de nous servir car nous sommes un groupe. Servent à la tête du client.

29/05/2024: I am English and my wife is American. When trying to pay with card, the waiter asked how much I would like to tip. Our total was approximately 30 euro and so I said 3 euros which is 10%. The waiter responded with an annoyed tone and added 10 euros to the total (approx 33% tip) without showing me the screen and then shoved the device in my face. As I was paying the waiter asked “where are you from?” I should have refused to pay this, but nevertheless let’s be clear what has happened here. The waiter thought we were both American, and helped himself to an inappropriate tip thinking we wouldn’t realize this was an absurd amount for Europe. Don’t go here

10/09/2024: catastrophe commande une salade veggie elle était composé d’une boule de semoule non cuite 2 tranches minuscules d’avocats de restes de ratatouille cuite et recuite et surtout de tomates en décomposition tout cela arrosé d’une sauce industrielle 18,90€ la salade dite VEGGIE

04/09/2024: Blah blah, a lamb shank “with its beautiful homemade mash” 23rd The mouse doesn't really have any taste, not at all tender but rather dry (reheat in the microwave instead of cooking at low temperature for hours) no more homemade mash replaced by frozen fries. No nice presentation on the plates. We want to understand the change of accompaniment, but doing something homemade smells like the METRO. Too expensive for the quality offered, we feel a little cheated..., I don't recommend it, good for just a drink. The servers are still nice.

02/09/2024: This is the 4th time I have eaten at this restaurant. The dishes are generally good The setting is great On the other hand, the service leaves something to be desired, error on the order, long waiting time for the aperitif, to be served, clear out etc. I also find the requirement to take a paid side dish with a side of beef for 80 euros totally ridiculous. I think it needs a few adjustments and it will be great

01/09/2024: Rooms are nice and clean but no tissues, no mini fridge, no robes, no kettle to make boiling water or tea. leaking water under the sink! The cleaning people are very kind. the restaurant is awful! Over priced, mediocre food. Breakfast buffet is so basic. Soft and stale pastries. hard non ripe fruit without flavour. coffee machine very mediocre. Not much choice at all for the price. The waiters are kind. The reception people are kinda rude. Not warm and welcoming at all. The indoor pool isn't warm enough at all. The outdoor pool is absolutely freezing and practically nobody is swimming in it. They have beautiful pools, with a slide. Shame that they make no effort in warming the water. They are clean and the guy who looks after the pools is very kind and hard working. It's not his fault the water is freezing cold. The ambiance is calm but that's due to the guests being respectful. Not the hotel. They could do more to make it a little more special. Maybe some music or offering complimentary little snacks and drinks. I'm still in shock that there was no mini fridge. It's probably a cheap hack to make you buy their overpriced drinks at the bar. you also have to pay to use their tennis courts and golf courses. I just want to say again that the cleaning people, the restaurant waiters, the breakfast guy (not girl, she's rude) and the pool man are very, very kind and I hope they are treated well by the hotel!

28/05/2024: Maison mignon est une enseigne qui porte bien son nom. Des produits de qualité et surtout un personnel très agréable. Venez manger votre gaufre au soleil en plein cœur d'Aix !

02/03/2024: Agréablement surpris. Pas trop sucrée, gaufre savoureuse. Choix d'assortiment varié. Vraiment un régal. La présentation en vitrine super utile, service convivial. Par contre, difficile à emporter, il faut manger sur place. Donc éviter les heures pleines.

30/08/2024: Visiting last August my opinion on this restaurant is simple. TO RUN AWAY! The waiter who had kindly sold us the quality of his restaurant should have kept quiet, because this man was too carried away by his enthusiasm to specify that all the dishes were homemade... What was my surprise and above all my disappointment when my dish arrived , an Italian burger, stuffed with pesto to the point of nausea and anything but homemade. From bread to minced steak, everything was either frozen or bought in supermarkets; yet the price of my burger was €20! Once served I also noticed that a very small portion of fries served as an accompaniment, a little surprised I remarked to our waitress that I would have liked to have more; She replied very curtly “finish your plate first and she will bring you some more”. My partner had ordered fish accompanied by Thai rice and she was served a tasteless fish accompanied by a bowl of white rice... I still wonder today where the Thai was hiding in the dish? A lying restaurant, which will make you pay a high price for frozen food and with unpleasant staff when you make a comment (I assure you that I put all the tact in the world and all the kindness in the world into it). Brief. Honestly, it’s something to avoid. I left hungry and with the feeling of having been ripped off.

20/09/2024: I don't recommend it. The fish was raw, unsalted and tasteless. The rumsteak was hard and very spicy.

09/09/2024: Extremely unpleasant room manager. My companion had the foie gras and ended up with food poisoning.

26/09/2024: If you want to buy a grilled sandwich that's more expensive than anywhere else, go to Paul's. Impressive to see that they agree to sell a product that looks and tastes completely burnt. I was too far away when I noticed it otherwise I would have brought it back.

20/08/2024: Bad value for money Unprofessional staff

01/09/2024: Well located bar but annoying service. There were 4 of us, the waiter gave us the menu without saying a word to us. Compliments my friends by telling one that she has beautiful eyes and the other that she has a pretty smile, then turns to me and goes off to say nothing, almost making fun of me. We don't need your opinion, thank you for making me understand that I was ugly. I was embarrassed the whole time we were there, I didn't know what to say to this situation, I wanted to hide. To flee.

30/08/2024: Beautiful location, really nice morning atmosphere. A major downside despite everything... The disastrous state of the toilets which may suggest that a staphylococcus could very well be served to you on the terrace. Please take care of your toilets.

18/08/2024: We are literally kicked out of the restaurant because “it’s 2 p.m. it’s closed” even though the door is wide open and the times displayed on the door indicate closing at 2:30 p.m.…

12/06/2024: The delivery men take care of the entries with their hands directly upon return of delivery. Without washing your hands. Well done.
