30/04/2026: One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. The vegetarian bobun is among the best I've ever tasted. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. Everything is made fresh, so expect a bit of a wait. The staff is friendly and helpful. For our English-speaking friends, one of the waitresses speaks English. The dining area is a bit small, so be aware of this if you're in a group. Overall, a very pleasant experience; I highly recommend it!

06/04/2026: We ordered beef bobun, vegetarian bobun, spring rolls, and Vietnamese dumplings: all four dishes were tasteless, and we waited a long time for them. It's not very expensive, but the taste really wasn't there.

15/05/2026: We went there as a couple and ordered five courses: two appetizers, two main courses, and one for an aperitif. The waiter brought the aperitif and one appetizer all at once, then my girlfriend's main course and my appetizer arrived. She finished hers, and only then did mine arrive (I had ordered crispy noodles; they were completely burnt). The waiter walked past me at least five times and clearly saw that I wasn't eating, but he didn't seem to care, not to mention the bottle of beer I'd had with my aperitif that had been sitting on the table throughout the entire meal. Finally, I decided to get up and went to the till, explaining that the dish was inedible. There was no professional reaction whatsoever; she gave me a half-hearted smile and took the dish away. The bottom line is, we'll never go back. I strongly advise against it.

22/04/2026: Very disappointed by the pho and Saigon soup. We felt disrespected; these dishes were so poorly prepared, bland, sparsely filled, and far removed from traditional versions 😔 You should remove them from the menu if you don't intend to make an effort to cook and serve them properly. It's not like there aren't already several restaurants in the city that serve good pho and hu tieu for €1 to €3 more.

03/05/2026: This beautiful Chinese restaurant on the Champs-Élysées in Paris serves Cantonese cuisine. Their poached chicken and spare ribs are delicious, and their Vietnamese rice noodle rolls are also excellent! If you're looking for a beautiful Chinese meal, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is fantastic, very quiet, and the service is Michelin-level.

30/04/2026: It's rare to find Chinese food of this caliber in Paris. Chez Ly gives the impression of being an experienced and consistently high-quality restaurant.

25/02/2026: I don't often leave Google reviews, except when something is really mediocre OR when it's truly amazing and deserves to be mentioned, because unfortunately, we often only focus on the bad... but this time I had to because I'm beyond thrilled! Even though the interior isn't much to look at, the food is delicious, and there's a wide variety of choices, including dishes I've never seen at other Asian restaurants! The lady who greeted us was very friendly and kind, the prices are reasonable, and frankly, it was absolutely delicious! (I recommend the hot chicken, the crispy chicken, and especially the potatoes, which are absolutely delicious!!) I went there for three days straight, every lunchtime, because I was in training right next door, and every time I waited my turn, the lady would ask about customers who seemed to be regulars (?), or even remember their usual orders, which is very rare in these kinds of places where there's always a lot of foot traffic, and frankly, it's really nice to see someone so attentive! In any case, I highly recommend it! Firstly, for the food, OF COURSE, but especially for the kind lady who serves! I'll definitely be back, thank you for everything!! 🩵🩵

11/05/2026: The food is excellent every time I come; I'm never disappointed. I really enjoy the cuisine, especially the Bobun. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the waitress is very friendly. The staff is pleasant. There's not much of a wait after ordering. The dishes are clean. It's a great place for a romantic dinner or a business lunch. The restaurant is quite quiet, and the prices are very reasonable.

03/05/2026: Good food, fair service, clean restaurant, The food was served hot and with good presentation. The taste and quality were good. The portion sizes were average. The service was rushed. The starters and main dishes were almost brought at the same time. The servers were very slow in removing dirty plates. As a result, the table felt very cramped. Overall, the food was good, however, the meal would have been much more enjoyable/comfortable if the servers were properly trained. --Tourist from the U.S.A.
