08/05/2026: The most delicious food, fresh, clean delicious!! Not expensive a gem in Paris. Not a super fancy gourmet expensive experience, but a beautiful place with delicious food In a quiet area, the portions are big and the food tasty and well prepared.
01/04/2026: I got some spring rolls to go, they weren't good, undercooked and really didn't taste good at all.

Kintaro

03/02/2026: The waitress was completely disrespectful. We arrived at 1:50 PM, the restaurant closed at 2:30 PM, and she told us we had to hurry because the cook had a dentist appointment. We ordered under pressure, and in the middle of our meal, she twice ordered us to eat quickly and therefore not to speak. She stared intently at us throughout our meal, and to top it all off, she let out a loud fart that was audible from the street. We were stunned! Furthermore, the food wasn't good at all. The restaurant was empty, and now we understand why. Don't go there.
10/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, we've been coming here for years and always eat very well. A tip: the 3 Treasures satay on a hot plate is a real treat!

Le Village de Chine
La Celle-Saint-Cloud
01/06/2026: Ordered through Uber East: no delivery person showed up, and Uber didn't notify me they'd cancelled. I had to drive myself to pick up the food. The duck was incredibly dry because it sat for over an hour before being reheated by the restaurant. The pork ribs were inedible: nothing but fat. A complete culinary disaster, and no compensation whatsoever (a little fish sauce? News? Nougat? Nothing).
12/03/2026: Great Chinese restaurant, friendly staff, very good food. Easy access.

14/04/2026: Excellent welcome. Very good service.
Excellent value for money.
Very clean restaurant.
01/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome (2 adults and a dog) this Wednesday at lunchtime and were seated in a quiet corner. The food is simple, plentiful, and varied.
The best things about it: dog-friendly, excellent service, and a very affordable buffet.
Highly recommended!

Le Grand Shanghai
Strasbourg
21/05/2026: Having ordered a Too Good To Go, a bit late, I admit, I managed to get a very average one: a portion of rice and a portion of sauce for €6. So I ordered a second one and called to ask if it would be okay if I arrived on time. He replied that time allowed, so I hurried to pick up my second Too Good To Go with the owner's agreement and within the time allotted. When I arrived, I was surprised to find the restaurant doors closed and lights off, even though I knew I had called the owners beforehand to let them know I would be late. He had told me that if I arrived and he was still there, it would be fine. I arrived, he was turning off the lights, but he didn't give me anything, claiming it was too late. I left empty-handed and, more importantly, without any attempt at resolution.
19/05/2026: The Grand Shanghai is an all-you-can-eat restaurant offering a fairly standard selection for this type of establishment: pork noodles, fried rice, a wok station where dishes are cooked to order with your choice of sauces, and so on. There isn't a huge number of dishes, but you'll find what you expect from this kind of buffet. I tried a little bit of everything in small portions and found the food quite good, with some rather original seasonings that allow you to discover flavors different from those you're used to finding in France.
The atmosphere is pleasant and the restaurant is spacious. There's also a bit of effort put into the decor, which adds a touch of exoticism: I particularly liked the Japanese lamps. I also appreciated that the restaurant seems to cater to families with young children, with suitable equipment like high chairs, which makes the experience more convenient for parents.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, although they sometimes seemed a little overwhelmed by the crowds: we had to ask several times for a carafe of water and glasses.
The main downside was the restrooms. We arrived right when they opened, and I noticed some greasy marks on the walls, a few stains, and a floor that didn't look freshly cleaned. The smell wasn't very pleasant either. It gave the impression of an oversight or an incomplete cleaning.
Despite this, the overall experience was positive. I probably would have given it 3.5/5 if that had been possible, but I'm happy to give it 4/5. Thank you to the servers, cooks, and cashier for their smiles and kindness. I would gladly return on another occasion.

WOK 192
Amérique, Paris
02/06/2026: It was absolutely incredible, I highly recommend it!!!
21/05/2026: A very large all-you-can-eat restaurant located right next to the Porte de Pantin metro station (line 5), not far from the Zénith concert hall. There's a wide variety of dishes on offer: Chinese, wok, grilled meats, and Japanese. Quite rare in Paris!
I found the place clean, the service pleasant, and the overall price very reasonable (22 euros in the evening).
If you're in the area, I recommend it :-)

Le Mandarin
Metz
13/03/2026: The food had a slightly bland, salty taste, and it was unclear whether it was Northern or Southern Vietnamese cuisine. The owner was unpleasant.
If you are Vietnamese and looking for Vietnamese food, you should consider ordering something else.
15/02/2026: Avoid at all costs... I won't even describe the dishes... a disgrace.

Palais d'Asie
Saint-Genis-Pouilly
14/05/2026: Great experience. Good food. I'll be back soon this year!
06/05/2026: Mediocre food. The buffet selection is rather limited and not at all good. The wok and grilled dishes are bland.
On the plus side: friendly service, waitresses, and the wok chef was nice. Even though the price is 10% to 20% lower than other buffets (lunch is served at noon on weekdays), it's not worth eating here. We won't be back.

Let's Wok
Caen
16/02/2026: Pretty good. Plenty of choice. Second visit.
Prices a bit high in the evening.
15/02/2026: Avoid at all costs:
This is the worst all-you-can-eat restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food was cold, dried out, barely cooked, or overcooked. The cocktails were a joke—no flavor or freshness whatsoever, practically warm. I even found a hair in one of their desserts. There was very little choice in appetizers, main courses, and desserts, and they didn't replenish the drinks. Hygiene-wise, the appetizers (sushi, etc.) were placed next to the hot dishes, which is unacceptable for a restaurant. For an all-you-can-eat buffet, regular temperature checks should be done, but I didn't see a single one during the hour I was there. It was incredibly noisy with the music played way too loud, and the payment terminal broke down mid-payment, forcing me to use a bank transfer.

Bambou d'asie

23/04/2026: Having lived in Asia regularly for over 10 years, I wanted to introduce my partner to the culinary delights they offer.
And once at the buffet, I was very surprised by the limited selection of dishes, and then by the poor quality of the food. There was a complete lack of ambiance or background music to transport us instantly from the Maurienne Valley to the Mekong Valley.
I'm usually quite forgiving when things aren't great... but this was frankly awful!
To top it off, my partner got sick...
03/02/2026: We were greeted with a smile and shown our table. As soon as we needed help, there's a section of raw seafood and meat that you can take to be cooked, they sweetly showed us where to go and how to proceed. Great array of hot food to choose from, which was topped up frequently, keeping it fresh and delicious. The cooked white fish with a delicate spice coating was incredible, had to go back for seconds. I started with sushi, prawns and calamari then moved on to noodles and special fried rice. Topping these with beef in black bean sauce, chicken curry, stir fried veg. Delighted to see Chinese black mushrooms and runner beans in a delicious sauce I couldn't place. The chicken and porc nem were great, two types of dim sum to choose from. Prawns in a sweet and sour sauce which wasn't too strong in flavour which I often find. For pudding I made myself a fruit salad with pineapple and lychee and a coconut water jelly which was surprisingly delicious too. They're peanut brittle is fantastic, they also had crystalised stem ginger and sesame Turkish delight as sweet treats to finish. Would definitely recommend a visit.
