21/08/2024: Venus pour dîner en famille. Nous avons demandé pour fêter l’anniversaire de notre garçon lors du dessert. Le personnel et le gérant ont été très gentils et ont fait cela admirablement malgré une bougie récalcitrante dû au vent 🙄 Cuisine très bonne et présentation soignée. Un établissement que je recommande

10/08/2024: fantastic setting,so you know what to expect re prices, but wow what a let down re my main meal. my lamb recommended by the waitress was totally dry and tasteless. on collecting my plate, which was hardly touched, she asked what was the matter. i explained that the meal was not what i had hoped, being tasteless and dry, she said that other customers had said the same thing today and would feed it back to the chef you could not make it up. On giving feedback to the manager when we had paid and were leaving, they were simply not interested. choose another restaurant if coming there. This one is now a victim of its own success and is all about the money. Gutted as sailed half way around corsica to get here on a recommendation. hey ho

03/09/2024: A descent into hell, the more time passes the less good it gets, apart from a few good surprises sometimes the value for money is not there. Some examples: croque Monsieur at 15€ would be better made by a 10 year old kid, the veal sausage is good but unfortunately served in a disgusting way flooded with a low-end and cloying cheese sauce, the piece of beef with pepper is accompanied vulgarly from an old dirty tube of Carrefour pepper sauce,… there is good will but a lot of progress to be made at the culinary level.

18/09/2024: Restaurant found randomly at the start of your stay, great Corsican atmosphere with concert, tasty dishes, fresh produce, very friendly waiters, super welcoming owners and Chantal in the kitchen, very very nice! We returned there for the last day of the stay! I highly recommend if you go through Ajaccio!

05/09/2024: Joli petit restaurant fleuri atypique dans ajacciu ou l'on peut manger et/ou boire un verre. Nous avons juste bu un verre mais la terrasse est agréable et ce sont des prix normaux. C'est d'ailleurs très bien décoré et propre.

12/09/2024: Great disappointment and incomprehension. Wrongly suspected of having dirty the beach in front of the hut the evening before (??), we received an unworthy welcome from Corsica, which also tarnishes the image of the tourism and catering professions on the island of beauty of my ancestors. The waitress became violently angry for no reason and threw me and my family out. We left very shocked, me in tears. This is the first time this has happened to me. It’s a shame that this little corner of paradise is occupied by unfriendly and aggressive people. We would much prefer to visit and eat at the two other nearby huts, which are much warmer.

30/07/2024: Very bad experience, from the start out of 10 drinks for the aperitif, everything arrived at the taste count, moreover the second round arrived only then 2 people from our table had still not had their first drink... Ordering the dishes... 2nd order because out of stock, come on, we believe it, 3rd order because other out of stock.. in short arrived midnight, half of the dishes not served, 4 people out of 10 who did not have had no dishes at all, 4 hours of waiting to not eat and to receive a bill of a little less than 300e for the drinks.. no commercial gesture, in Passage the sushi that I ate (5th mini for the 2 sushis ) not worth the trip and was hot. Avoid this place, go somewhere where they serve you something to eat. Deplorable.

08/09/2024: Very good artisanal ice cream The ice creams are excellent, certainly more expensive than elsewhere but the quality is there. The staff is efficient and professional, we had a pleasant relaxing time.

14/09/2024: Des étoiles dans les yeux, au moins trois dans l’assiette. Le verdict du Michelin, de moins en moins attendu , trop inégal, peu fiable, est en dessous de la vérité pour cet établissement. Nous avons goûté la crème des étoiles qui n’étaient pas toujours au niveau de celui-ci. L’originalité est couronnée de succès parce qu’elle ne sacrifie rien au palais! La présentation en damier du « poisson crustacés et caviar » comme un assortiment de tapas épatantes, est iconique. Il ne devrait jamais disparaître de la carte. Le service aux petits oignons, d’autant plus remarquable que l’équipe est saisonnière, a semé entre les plats de l’élégance et du sourire. Ayant émis un doute sur la gourmandise d’un dessert miel et citron qui sur le papier me semblait un peu paresseux, il m’a été amené en supplément du mien, une pirouette charmante qui m’a donné tort sur l’intérêt du plat. Bien que peu de pâtissiers aient récemment inventé un dessert qui restera, sera repris d’une cuisine à l’autre, le savoir-faire français était au rendez-vous. Un peu plus de régression vers l’enfance et on frisera le paradis. Les vins corses ne peuvent pas arracher un vingt comme certains bourgogne ou bordeaux mais le sommelier dandy sait trouver les pépites locales pour des esprits curieux. La bonne découverte, c’est ce qu’on attend d’un grand établissement. Ce restaurant est dirigé de main de maître, il vaut le déplacement. Bravo à l’Hotel Casadelmar pour ce fleuron, parce que sa petite sœur La Plage Casadelmar est malheureusement tellement mal dirigée, avec si peu le sens du client, démontrant une mentalité plus étiolée qu’étoilée! Il semble superflu de préciser que dans ce restaurant là, au Casadelmar … nous reviendrons!

01/09/2024: Food is avarge here. Stuff on the reception is very nice. What’s horrible is the pool stuff. They are not coming at all. Was sitting at the pool yesterday all day and they came twice. Not even ask if you need anything but just walked around.
