21/09/2026: We were expecting something different somehow 😢 The food was okay, very hearty and heavy. The appetizer with various vegetables and goat cheese cream tasted good, but unfortunately it was much too cold in the center, while the main course with meat was only lukewarm. A shame.

06/09/2026: Today was my tenth visit, and I still feel this is the best restaurant for Japanese food in Beaune. Chef Zian's sushi, in particular, is superb. As a Japanese person, I eat a lot of sushi. His sushi is perfectly balanced and melts in your mouth. The server, Zian, is very friendly and recommends delicious wines. Actually, the food is great, but the wine list is also fantastic. If you're looking for truly authentic and delicious Japanese food, I highly recommend visiting.

17/08/2026: 10/10! We had a wonderful meal. The servers were very pleasant. The sommelier was knowledgeable. The dishes on the menu were perfectly executed! As for the atmosphere, the restaurant isn't very large but it's very quiet. Thank you for this experience.

13/09/2026: While passing through Beaune, we discovered this pizzeria located right next to our hotel and we weren't disappointed! The welcome was warm and lively, the service efficient, the staff friendly, and the pizzas delicious. We highly recommend it :)

20/09/2026: Absolutely fantastic place, we had a wonderful evening with friends. The bartenders are just amazing. ————————————————————————- Second evening: We are a group of friends who come to Burgundy a few times a year. We had a wonderful evening at Côté Rhum in Beaune. Having a rather high holiday budget, we spent nearly €400 in this bar (there were four of us). As we were leaving, we were INSULTED by the bouncers when we thanked and said goodbye. I think that knowing how fragile the nightlife industry is, you can't insult customers like that. It's simply shameful. Management needs to take action quickly.

25/09/2026: If in Beaune eat here first. Then explore other restaurants. The anticipation is built by walking down a wonderful cobbled street. The welcome was warm and friendly. My wife and I shared our meals. We had the crispy caramelized onion tart with anchovy to start. The pasty flaked beautifully with a wonderful bite. For mains we had lamb shoulder, cooked long and slow but with a cracking skin. Slight spice. Jus you want to dip your bread into. Creamed mash with gravy as a side. Divine. Trust the sommelier to select the wine, he made excellent choices for local reds that matched perfectly. The chocolate tart for desert was decadent. We chose to sit at the bar with the delightful Chef. So we saw our food prepped as well as others, everything looked amazing. If it is possible to feel food envy while full and happy we did.

16/09/2026: For starters, we ordered shrimp (crevettes) and meat pâté (pâté en croûte). Divine! For the main course, we ordered pigeon (Le pigeon) and stuffed vegetables. The pigeon was roasted to perfection and the vegetables were a delightful surprise. Everything paired very well with the wine of the evening: Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2023.

18/07/2026: 5 Stars! The team at L’Hotel was very helpful in arranging transportation and advising on wine tastings (Drouhin, Chateau Pommard, and Comte Senard were highlights). We really enjoyed the breakfast (amazing scrambled eggs + bacon). The e-bikes were also a fun and easy way to get around. Also, the gym is really top tier - all brand new Technogym equipment, which is a nice touch. Room 10 above the restaurant is very nice, stays cool (great air con) and is a fun place to stay. No issues with noise as it is 2 floors above the restaurant and the town is quiet post 10pm.

09/06/2026: We had a lovely time at this very well-located hotel! We were in Room 3, in the main building, and enjoyed a large room, huge bathroom and comfortable bed with high quality linens. The view on the square below was very cool. When the square is bustling on a Friday night, it can be a little loud, but I would have never traded the view. (I just popped on my sound machine app). Best of all was the service: Every worker we encountered was very friendly, kind and helpful. They also anticipated our needs, which is the mark of great service. This hotel is located right in the heart of everything. Super close to the Saturday market and many many restaurants, cafes and shopping. Breakfast was included, so we enjoyed breakfast every morning. ($35 if not included). So many delicious choices; we were hardly hungry for lunch. The hotel arranged a last-minute driver so we could get to Dijon; the car was luxe and the driver was kind and professional. I can’t think of anything I would have changed about our four-night stay.

07/09/2026: When I walked in - for some reason the man told me "Full" even though they were almost empty and I saw a couple just wondering in. And he was not nice about it either. I was very confused and unhappy. Went to Le Béléna instead, enjoyed it.

The 64-degree egg, the 48-hour cooked pork belly, and, to finish, the chocolate-poached pear ice cream… A true delight! Masterful cooking techniques, refined combinations, and cuisine that knows how to surprise while remaining perfectly balanced. The wine list is well-curated, offering a wide selection. The service is a reflection of the cuisine: the young woman who manages the dining room is very friendly, professional, and attentive, striking the perfect balance between quality, conviviality, and discretion. She's never overbearing, but always with a smile and great care. Bravo to the chef and his entire team for this magnificent work! An address we recommend without hesitation and where we will be delighted to return. Thank you for this wonderful evening and this delicious culinary journey!

03/10/2026: We came in early September during a heatwave, over 34 degrees Celsius at 5 pm. We ordered a chai latte and two matcha drinks. They were out of oat milk. I was offered soy milk as an alternative, but unfortunately, with the intense heat, there was no ice, so our drinks weren't exactly cold. The waitress didn't mention this before we ordered, and no compensation was offered on our bill. The chai was very mild in spices, and the matcha was very sweet, prepared with an electric whisk, so not according to proper methods. We were very disappointed.
