04/09/2026: Bobun to go €12.90 The quality was very average and the quantity ridiculous for the price. No salad, no raw vegetables. I'm extremely disappointed to have paid so much for so little, and there were vermicelli noodles. The meat and spring rolls were good. But it's not a real bobun.

21/08/2026: Les Terrasses du Lac in Secondigny is an exceptional restaurant that you absolutely shouldn't miss. Idyllic setting: A magnificent and soothing view of the lake, perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable time with family or friends. Delicious cuisine: The dishes are flavorful, prepared with fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. Special mention goes to the desserts, which are a real treat. Impeccable service: The staff is warm, friendly, and very attentive from start to finish. Flawless from beginning to end; we'll definitely be back!

08/09/2026: I bought a booklet of stamps in this bar to send a letter to Sweden, but the stamps I bought were only valid for France. I went back to get a refund or exchange, but it wasn't possible; the tobacconist refused, telling me that all stamps sold in tobacco shops were like that. Luckily, I went to La Régence, a tobacconist, where I was able to find the stamps I needed. Thank you, La Régence!

21/08/2026: Best bar in Niort! Always great music, a huge selection of drinks, and excellent snacks. There's always something to do for a great evening (darts, pool, etc.) and the owner is fantastic!

25/07/2026: We stopped by on market day and had a very good lunch in a warm atmosphere. The service was very friendly and responsive to customer needs. I highly recommend going there; we will definitely return on our next visit to Lezay.

09/09/2026: Where to begin with this "restaurant"? I use quotation marks because the experience was rather comical. According to the rest of the group, the pinsas were good. I ordered fish and chips. It was frozen and very dry. To make it more appealing, we asked for sauces. Three times. On the fourth attempt, I asked a young waitress who immediately took care of it. One of my friends is allergic to peanut oil, so she couldn't eat the fries that came with her meal. These things happen. Instead, she was served a tiny portion of vegetables. Shameful. During the service, a waiter mistakenly took one of my friends' still-full glasses and put his fingers in it. He realized the glass was still full but put it back on the table. We don't doubt this gentleman's hygiene (he didn't look like an inexperienced waiter), but still, wouldn't bringing my friend a drink have been much more decent? Then came the highlight of the show: the desserts! My waffle was undercooked and resembled a Breton far. The crepes weren't homemade (I'd bet they were Le Ster crepes, but perhaps Metro has better deals) and weren't even warmed in butter (in fact, those who ordered a butter-sugar crepe were still looking for the butter in their dessert). The salted caramel, however, looked very good since a waitress (also experienced) literally licked her fingers in front of us because she had caramel on hers! The two people who raised the bar were the young waitresses, whom we can only commend for working diligently and with a smile.

23/09/2026: We (2 people, 2 dogs) ate here on September 21, 2026. The restaurant is one of those unassuming roadside eateries found in France and is frequented by many truckers. The welcome was exceptionally friendly, and bringing the dogs was no problem at all. There's one set menu (no à la carte) consisting of a varied appetizer buffet, a main course (choice of two dishes), cheese, and dessert. Overall, very good and unusually inexpensive with truly excellent service! My recommendation for anyone who wants to experience authentic French cuisine and doesn't mind skipping the fancy new releases. 👍

12/09/2026: Italian restaurant that also serves good quality French food. We came here because it was open on Wednesday, when every other place seemed to be closed. But really glad we did, as we had a warm welcome and lovely food. Excellent service, the waiter made a real effort to speak English for us. We didn't try them, but they seemed to be sending out a lot of very large tasty looking pizzas. Definitely worth a try.
