14/05/2026: This was our first time at "Terrasses du Lac." We hesitated because it was a public holiday (so it was expected to be very crowded) and a recent review was quite critical of the wait times. Well, we had absolutely no problems. The service was quick and friendly, and the meal (the tasting menu) was fantastic! And the setting is truly extraordinary; it must be wonderful outside in the summer. We'll definitely be back.

09/05/2026: First time at this restaurant (the setting is magnificent, right across from the lake) and we weren't disappointed: a warm welcome, beautifully presented and generous portions. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender and succulent. You can taste the expertise and the homemade quality! We had a wonderful time! I highly recommend it! 👍

05/08/2026: For our second visit to La Taverne, we weren't disappointed. The welcome is always warm and the service is good! Just one suggestion: the €32 set menu is perfect for autumn through spring. For the summer months, a menu with more summery options would be a plus, I think! And one last small remark: my wife was a little disappointed with the amount of vegetables and fries with the andouillette sausage; it's true, it was a bit light! My dish was well-proportioned with fries and salad! Thank you for your hospitality! Best regards

21/11/2025: Discovered by chance at lunchtime today, we're not from around here! A perfect little break before hitting the road again towards Loire-Atlantique. A delicious, flavorful soup that warms both body and soul, followed by a chicken croque monsieur. Simple, effective, and so good when it's homemade!! Thank you

18/07/2026: The meat was quite strange, and the wine was warm. We all had stomach aches, and our child ended up vomiting late in the evening. I don't understand the positive reviews.

25/05/2026: We stumbled upon this small town while browsing the flea market on May 17, 2026. Unfortunately, the rain spoiled the fun, so we ended up eating at this little inn. We received a very warm welcome from the owner. The value for money was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal; everything was fresh and delicious. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again (we are from Poitiers). Thank you also for your kindness.

24/03/2026: If you're looking for a more upscale restaurant than your usual haunts, head to La Virgule! The prices are very reasonable. The quality-to-price ratio is truly perfect! A delight for the taste buds! The food is plentiful! It's a real treat! And you'll always discover new flavors! This restaurant is perfect for birthday celebrations if you'd like to celebrate out! Cloth tablecloths and napkins, excellent service, delicious dishes, an idyllic setting—what more could you ask for? Thank you for all the future evenings with friends at your place!

30/05/2026: Very clean, no complaints. Good quality bedding, but there should at least be a fan in the room, if not air conditioning. It was a very hot day, admittedly, but that's very common in the summer in this region; it was 26 degrees Celsius at night, even with the window open. The owner told us the next morning that it would be the same next year. In the meantime, a small standing fan wouldn't go amiss.

25/05/2026: Lovely local spot! The pizza 🍕 is made fresh & beautifully with the best oven and owner is extremely friendly and so caring when making the pizza! All the ingredients are local and just so delicious!!! Loved it here perfect pizza stop or takeaway! Very relaxing, easy going & tasty! 😋
