We had the menu of the day: delicious lentil soup. Flank steak with perfect Roquefort sauce and well presented plate. Excellent pear crumble and very pretty presentation
And the icing on the cake is remarkable service. Thank you so much

We ate very well, the leg of lamb was excellent.
The service was quick and pleasant.

06/09/2024: I admit I don't really understand the recent comments. There were few of us at the restaurant this evening and we had a great time. The server was very friendly and attentive. The wait between the starter, main course and dessert was not long, just right. We had a great time. The goat cheese salad with figs was very good and the leg of lamb delicious. The desserts were also very good.
If we were not just passing through the region, we would come back!

Au bout de 50min d'attente nous avions décidé de partir, à ce moment là la jeune serveuse arrive avec nos plats. Nous lui faisons remarqué avec courtoisie bien entendu qu'on s'apprêtait à partir. Au lieu d'avoir une réaction professionnelle c'est à dire une excuse au minimum. Sa réaction était insolente. Choqué nous avions préféré de partir sans causé de heurt.
On ne vous parle l'absence des salutations de courtoisies, des sourires. Mais surtout quand un client renverse une bouteille d'eau et se casse au sol. La jeune demoiselle se met à rire moqueur et ne ramasse même pas les verres.
C'est impensable. Donc ce restaurant est A FUIR.

27/05/2024: Nous avons déjeuné à l'Espelette fin mai. Très bon accueil, le personnel est agréable et de très bons conseils. Un cadre et une déco très sympa. La carte est variée avec de beaux desserts.
Les prix sont plutôt €€€.
Ecellente initiative : Pour les profiteroles, qui sont d'ailleurs excellentes, possibilité de reduire de moitié l'assiette et son prix pour les plus petits appétits. 👍🏼
07/04/2024: Restaurant sympa. Bonne ambiance. Qualité des plats. Personnel sympa et professionnel. Seul bémol le niveau sonore de la musique qui est très désagréable.

First impressions upon entering: we are here in a store dedicated EXCLUSIVELY TO BEER 🍺🍻
The wooden shelves are filled with multitudes of references, mists, ambers, blondes of course and particular brews, such as IPAs or New England IPAs, my favorites.
We received information and advice from the very pleasant seller.
Finally, in the middle of this decor with the chosen universe, we tasted a NEIPA served at the counter. A screen allows you to choose from around fifteen beer references.
Really very nice.
I recommend that you go take a look, I think you will not be disappointed with this store.

In addition, Liège chocolate for €8 (same for Liège coffee) for a simple scoop of ice cream and whipped cream while the scoop of ice cream and whipped cream can be taken separately for €4...
We have the impression of having been taken for pigeons...
16/09/2024: We already came last year and it is clear that since the change of ownership, things have changed a lot.
The landscape is still dazzling, however the same cannot be said of the rest.
Between the waitress who drowns herself in a glass of water, the copious dishes in a vain attempt to compensate for their mediocre quality and the waiting time (30 min) between the main course and the dessert*, we don't give a damn new managers.
*Special mention to the industrial dessert which comes straight from the freezer without pressure.
