28/11/2025: We arrived at the terrace yesterday for a hot drink. A waiter came out with his tray to clear a table next to ours and then left without a word. No hello, nothing. It used to be our go-to spot. But that was then. What a shame.

18/02/2026: Always a warm welcome, very good food, and on top of that, it's inexpensive. Better than fast food.

02/02/2026: For our first visit, we stopped at this small bar/restaurant that serves daily specials. Couscous, Pizza, Burgers. We had a very good couscous, perfectly spiced and served with hot plates. The service was very pleasant. Congratulations on this relaxing break! 👍

01/06/2026: It's not normal to wait over 45 minutes before anyone came to take our order. People who arrived much later were already being served, and no one had even offered us a drink. In short, I'm not rating the food because we left after 45 minutes without having ordered.

30/04/2026: We hadn't planned to stop, but we absolutely had to charge our car. Our app showed us a charging station, and... it was private to the hotel! Someone came out, the manager I think, and offered to charge us even though we weren't guests, with such spontaneity and kindness! The staff is fantastic, so we had a great breakfast; it's very clean and pleasant!! We'll definitely be back!

07/06/2026: I came to this restaurant for the first time with my parents. We weren't expecting such kindness and attentiveness from the waitress. We really liked the menu and were surprised by the generous portions! I couldn't have dessert! The appetizers were very substantial and absolutely delicious (two-salmon tartare and poached egg with wine sauce). Pleasant view, calm, and peaceful. A lovely establishment with the hotel right next door. We'll be back soon :-) Sandrine

27/05/2026: The €20 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) offered excellent value for money. The dishes were also prepared with impeccable quality. We were served by a single, charming young woman who was understandably overwhelmed with managing the entire service. A huge thank you to her for her professionalism despite being extremely busy. I was particularly shocked by the lack of action (or presence?) from management or any other staff. I don't know if it was management or a member of their family who handed the phone to the waitress to take a reservation, even though this young woman was already running around everywhere. And was literally taking care of our table payment. It would have been much more efficient and faster for her to handle the reservation herself. The condescension and disregard from these people, who only came to relax behind the bar without even noticing that their employee was overwhelmed and single-handedly running the restaurant (and the kitchen staff too), was appalling. They clearly needed someone in the dining room to help this young woman. Despite everything, this young woman was incredibly helpful, professional, and efficient in carrying out her duties. Respect! 25/04/2026: The meat was very average, thankfully they had the sauce we hadn't ordered. The panna cotta was like glue, honestly I wouldn't go back.

08/05/2026: I've been to this place several times, and I have to say, it definitely deserves its reputation for pizzas… and I can confirm: they're delicious! 🍕 What I particularly appreciate is its location in the heart of the shops and bustling areas, making it easy for people to meet up for a good meal. The restaurant also has an outdoor terrace, and honestly, when the sun is shining, it's a real pleasure to be able to have lunch or dinner outside. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming. As for the owners, they know how to treat their customers with kindness and consideration, which is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare these days. There were four of us, and we ordered: 1 Coca-Cola, 1 cocktail, 1 beer, 1 Spritz, 2 pizzas, 2 meat dishes with fries, 4 desserts, and 2 coffees ☕️. Total bill: €129.50. And honestly, the value for money is excellent, as everything was perfect from start to finish. So, if you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by to try the famous pizzas 🍕 that have made the place so renowned.

02/05/2026: A fantastic pizzeria for several reasons: Opened on May 1st The owner is incredibly friendly and flexible (we were a group of 9 hikers) The dishes are delicious and very generous for a very reasonable price Not to mention the friendly staff

10/08/2025: Shaded terrace in the garden. Very warm welcome. We had a roasted Camembert and a Caesar salad, classic recipes but served in a very original way. Very good. Don't hesitate to go up the street to the center of the village.

25/06/2026: At this restaurant, they shamelessly brought us a burnt, flat pizza—a 40-minute wait for that! I pointed it out to the waitress or the owner, who offered to make another one if needed. We declined because we didn't want to wait any longer. What a disgrace to charge for a flat, burnt pizza! Even ready-made pizza dough from the supermarket is better. Shame on this restaurant.

09/06/2026: Very good. This is a chain store, which isn't the case for all of them. The one in Châteaudun doesn't even come close to this one. It has a long way to go. It must not be properly adhering to Marie Blachaire's principles. What a shame.

16/05/2026: We came today to buy a loaf of country bread. While waiting in line, we noticed an employee cleaning the trays by spraying them very close to the pastries, directly onto the tray being cleaned. Of course, we're talking about hygiene, but also about a product that disperses into the air and onto the products sold to your customers. Please pay attention to this. We also wanted to buy some chocolate croissants at 50% off, but we changed our minds. This doesn't make us want to come back, even though we believe in the brand.

16/06/2026: We were just passing through for work and found this place to grab a drink, eat, and watch the match. We had a great meal, France won, and the owner kept his word! A round of drinks for everyone to celebrate the French victory! See you next time. The three guys from Auvergne 😁

29/05/2026: Passing through Chartres, my hotel was next to the pub, a very nice place, but the owner was really very cold. I felt like I was bothering him. It's a shame because he has a wide selection on his menu, and the only reason I came three times was because you were next door. Perhaps warmth and friendliness aren't part of your culture.
