16/06/2026: Honestly, I expected better. The place is nice, the location is beautiful, but we felt like we were bothering them from beginning to end. Our order was forgotten, the waiter was nowhere to be found, and when we finally managed to get someone's attention, the reception was frankly appalling. For the price, we have the right to expect a minimum level of service. We won't be going back.

28/07/2026: I've never been disappointed by this Subway; I used to go there often when I was in Chartres. The staff is very friendly, and I always enjoy my meal. Absolutely nothing to complain about! If I go back to Chartres, I'll definitely stop there!

19/07/2026: Worst Subway ever, never go there! Like a previous comment from 7 months ago, the fillings are still not as advertised. In my sandwich, there were only 3 peppers and 3 olives, count them carefully; you have a serious problem with quantity. For the price we pay, you're clearly overcharging! And even when I asked for more, it was the worst sandwich I've ever eaten, especially for a Maxi at €12.40 without a meal deal! You're the only ones who do this, so don't make excuses about being stingy. It's truly shameful; change the manager if that can improve the situation because right now it's awful!

27/08/2026: A short break on the way to Brittany. A charming restaurant, very welcoming staff, lunch under the market halls, and best of all, just 3 minutes from the cathedral. I highly recommend it.

05/08/2026: A wonderful experience. We ate very well; the portions were generous and the food was high quality. Their burgers were truly excellent. We will definitely return on our next visit to Chartres. Thank you!

25/05/2026: Our reservation for 18 people was cancelled and therefore not honored despite a deposit paid. Apparently, we didn't represent enough money for two nights. Lamentable. I absolutely do not recommend this place. A complete lack of professionalism.

23/02/2026: It's a shame zero stars isn't possible because it was truly the worst experience of my life. One word: run away! I absolutely do not recommend this establishment, which is filthy and staffed with dishonest people. We booked for two nights. To begin with, the key wasn't in the locker when we arrived. We had to find our own way to the room, which was already open, with the key inside. The first night, my 18-month-old daughter became seriously ill because the heating only warmed about 2 cm of the room. The bed was freezing, and using sheets as a duvet in February was appalling. Furthermore, the hotel has never been cleaned since it opened; we found dust and hair everywhere. The room was so cold we fell asleep with our coats on. It was impossible for us to stay another night, so we requested a refund. The receptionist asked for our bank details (RIB) because even she, upon entering the room, remarked, "Oh yes, indeed, it's a penguin room..." We sent the bank details, and to this day, nothing. Today we contacted the establishment, and the woman told us there would be no refund since we didn't stay the night. Before leaving, she assured us she would take care of it. Truly the worst experience ever!!!

24/07/2026: A very beautiful golf course. A bit challenging. Holes are far apart, so golf carts are essential. Friendly welcome. Bunkers in poor condition.

21/07/2026: We just came for lunch today. Extremely expensive for a bagged salad and three tiny pieces of duck breast. The setting is certainly beautiful. The waiter and waitress seemed a bit out of it. First and last time, what a shame, we're from the area.

24/02/2026: The portions are generous. I regret the rude remarks made to my son when my daughter-in-law was introduced to the owner. It was certainly due to the drinks.

19/08/2026: A loyal customer for many years, I was very disappointed with the customer service today at 3:45 PM, August 19th. It was very crowded, with very few registers, and none of them were even open for express checkout. We went to the customer service desk to pay for two items (for €2.24) and, as we were being advised, some customers in the same line as us were annoyed that we were waiting behind them with just two items while their shopping carts were full. We were turned away because apparently they now only process payments for flowers (this is new!!). The other customers in the same line as us were all surprised that we had come back to join them after being turned away. Yet, usually, we see people being paid for items other than flowers. In this case, they should put up a sign saying "only payments for flowers are authorized." Don't forget to tell customers where the special deli items and the special chips are located... What's disturbing about this situation is that you see brave students at the checkout scanning items every minute with long queues, while others, showing no solidarity with their colleagues and the waiting customers, sit in groups of three chatting with their arms crossed on the reception counter. Really disappointed and annoyed. P.S. Seriously, put up a sign.

23/05/2026: It's no longer Pichet 3 that's listed on Google, but Le Refuge. No kitchen, but snacks or reheated cooked meals.
