Restaurants in Soissons are generally unacceptable. Two Uber Eats orders placed in one evening at two different restaurants, neither arrived. How can I lose faith in small restaurants?

31/03/2026: An exceptional venue for an unforgettable moment We celebrated our wedding in the reception hall at Le Pot d’Étain, where we also stayed for three days at the hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to Caroline and her entire team for their warm welcome, professionalism, and impeccable organization. Everything flowed smoothly, was well thought out, and executed with great care. A special mention goes to Caroline, who was exceptionally attentive and kind throughout our event. Thanks to her, I was able to relax and fully enjoy every moment of this magical weekend. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue, whether it's the hotel, the restaurant, or the reception hall. The €16 set lunch menu, including a starter and main course, was more than enough. The portions were generous and delicious. The service was quite quick despite the large number of customers. It's a great place to eat in this pretty village. We ate for under €40 for two people. Very good.

The dessert, floating islands, was good but nothing special. Good value for money. I recommend it, and the service was friendly.
