23/04/2026: A very good experience with the daily special: hanger steak with pepper sauce and fries. The meat was excellent, cooked to perfection, and the sauce was delicious. The dessert, floating islands, was good but nothing special. Good value for money. I recommend it, and the service was friendly.

06/04/2026: The bedding was adequate, but there was no soundproofing whatsoever; we could hear doors slamming until late in the evening, the sounds of conversations from neighboring rooms, the toilets, etc. The decor was very dated, stuck in the 80s/90s, and the bathroom could be cleaner. The water temperature was difficult to regulate. Breakfast was decent but basic; €48 when booking for 4 people, but ultimately charged at €52.

13/06/2026: We stayed at this establishment to celebrate my husband's birthday (budget of nearly €1,000 for the night and dinner). Beforehand, everything went very well: the reception team was particularly attentive and available to organize this surprise. Unfortunately, the stay revealed several major shortcomings in the professionalism of the on-site staff, which fell short of the standards expected for such a prestigious establishment. To top it all off, the post-stay management was disastrous. After I left a toiletry bag behind (for which I was responsible), the reception demanded my bank details by email to charge me for its return. When I expressed my surprise, I received a late-night email that completely ignored my disappointment and instead asked me to leave a review on the château's website – bizarre and inappropriate. Although the sales manager eventually rectified the situation the following day with apologies and assistance, the overall experience remains very disappointing for a Relais & Châteaux property. It's a shame that shortcomings in service and IT security marred such a promising start. In response to your comment: I would like to correct several statements. First, I did not make any "threat" of a negative review. It was the night receptionist who, in his inappropriate late-night message, explicitly asked me to leave a review. I did indeed tell him that I would. Regarding the "major shortcomings" during the stay (which was otherwise quite pleasant), I had chosen not to elaborate out of courtesy to the staff, but the content of your response compels me to do so: 1. For an establishment of this caliber, it is surprising that some employees do not speak English fluently. 2. When I paid in cash, the receptionist rudely asked if she should "give me my change." Although I had previously opted to leave her a tip, demanding change in this way instead of simply giving it back is unacceptable professional misconduct for a business of this standing. I regret that your response attempts to shift the blame rather than acknowledge these shortcomings.

28/05/2026: The restaurant was exceptional, but it's a shame that when it's 30 degrees Celsius there's no parasol equipped with a fan or misting system... which makes the meal less enjoyable.

11/06/2026: A very good experience at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the dishes were truly delicious. Coming from a country where steak tartare is practically a sacred institution, I was surprised to see it offered as a main course and served with fries. Back home, some would consider that sacrilege! But I embraced this cultural difference with curiosity and good humor, finding it an original and interesting experience. In the end, everything was excellent, and this discovery made the meal even more memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

28/05/2026: Good food, but the restaurant turns away customers after 8:15 pm... What a shame. The dining room is a bit dated and could use an update. The waitress was pleasant.

03/05/2026: I had an amazing experience at the Hôtel de l’Abbaye de Longpont. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the abbey and ideal for exploring the area. The staff were super friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The rooms were very clean and well-equipped with everything you might need—towels, shampoo, a hairdryer—and the beds were especially comfortable. A special mention goes to the manager, a dynamic and kind young man who recently took over the hotel and is clearly passionate about the project. The hotel is being renovated gradually, with great taste and care to preserve the charm of a typical French hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here!

02/06/2026: We had barely arrived when we asked for a table for three. The waitress must be mute and blind: she neither greeted us nor looked at us. She simply placed three menus on the furthest table she could find before leaving. Very limited and very expensive menu. Thank you for this immersive experience: for a moment, we thought we were participating in an escape room where the goal was to find customer service.

The resort and the village have a fascinating history. Michelin-starred Chef Annie Desvignes delighted us with her dishes, which were a true treat for our taste buds. Our respect to her and our thanks to her entire team. We also enjoyed a very pleasant and extremely professional massage. We had an exceptional time and will return as soon as we can.”

22/04/2026: A truly beautiful setting. A warm and distinguished welcome. A place steeped in history, full of charm for those who appreciate it. A delightful encounter with the staff and the owner. We are so glad that "chance" led us to this place. The bedding was of very high quality, and the rooms were spacious. The restaurant and its menus, created by Chef Madame Desvignes, were a true delight. Thank you for everything and for our wonderful conversations.

09/06/2026: For a second visit, it was truly disappointing. The service was utterly appalling, especially from the waiter who was clearly more concerned with finishing his shift than with the customers! And to top it all off, the bill was exorbitant: 127 euros for two people for a very disappointing experience, culminating in a so-called "revisited" Paris-Brest of extremely poor quality! Avoid at all costs.
