10/05/2026: The hotel itself is charming and full of character, but unfortunately the dining experience fell far below expectations. We chose the tasting menu and ended up leaving multiple dishes unfinished — something that should raise questions in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Just to mention two examples, the asparagus sorbet was honestly terrible, and the trout course (which replaced the scallops listed on the menu, without anyone bothering to explain the change) was particularly underwhelming. Service was polite, though not especially attentive for this category: no bread plates, butter initially forgotten despite asking, and water bottles not refilled unless explicitly requested each time. On a positive note, the lavender and honey dessert was excellent, the bread very good, and the wine selection well curated. Overall, the gap between the reputation, the actual experience, and the price paid felt too large. A restaurant with such history and legacy deserves more consistency, and Michelin recognition should continue to be earned at the plate.

25/02/2026: Delicious Millefeuille! Vanilla and rum for me. Absolutely to my taste 🥰 The inverted puff pastry was beautifully golden, and the cream was deliciously rich yet light. Perfectly flavored. A wonderfully refreshing dessert! Other flavors are available for the millefeuille (Vanilla/Raspberry Vanilla/Rum Vanilla/Exotic (Rum) Chocolate Praline...). Also, other fantastic desserts: the Tatin! The Magnum Caramel! And delicious chocolates... I can't wait for Easter 🍫🐰 Well done and thank you, Cyril. See you soon!!!

05/04/2026: Great atmosphere, great service, great food!

16/03/2026: The food was decent but very expensive, even for a ski resort. The most disappointing aspect was the service. The day after our lunch, we returned for coffee. An employee told us it was fine and offered us a seat at the bar. The owner then arrived and curtly explained that we couldn't have a coffee without ordering food, practically throwing us out. This was very unpleasant behavior and completely at odds with the friendly reputation we had been told about. It's a shame; we won't be back.

09/05/2026: The welcome was very warm, and the staff were incredibly attentive to their guests. The meal was excellent, featuring the discovery of pieds paquets (stuffed trotters), a beautiful trolley of local cheeses, and desserts. The highlight was the Citadel room with its magnificent view. A big thank you! Perfect for motorcyclists.

06/05/2026: We ate at this establishment tonight and the meal was delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly to my liking, which was greatly appreciated, and what can I say about the service? We were served by Mimi, a huge thank you to her! She was very friendly and incredibly welcoming. We had a wonderful time thanks to her as well. We will definitely be back, see you soon! 😁

28/04/2026: A very nice hotel in a prime location with a spacious outdoor area. We received a very friendly welcome. The room was very well-equipped with a brand-new bathroom. The breakfast was very plentiful, and all at a very reasonable price. We would gladly return.

25/04/2026: I was remembering what a wonderful little and charming hotel my husband and I had the chance to stay for a few days. From the comfortable rooms, great dining experience and a great location to travel around this stunning location. I would love to go back one day. I forgot to give the review, so doing it now. 15/05/2026: Travelers Beware!!! As overlanders, we are sometimes prevented from arriving at our destinations due to bad weather, road closures, illness, mechanical breakdowns, accidents or pandemics. These are sometimes issues beyond our control, and so you would think that the property owner would be understanding, especially during a snowstorm that results in a road closure where the local police prevent motorcyclists from continuing their journey for safety reasons, which is understandable despite being extremely inconvenient. For the property owner to still charge for the room and then state that they don't control the weather, is extremely disrespectful and demonstrates a serious lack of empathy for their guests. So, to all you travelers out there...if you experience a problem on the road and are unable to arrive at this hotel, don't expect ANY sympathy whatsoever from the owner, who made the choice to not issue a refund, despite the lame intervention from booking.com. Too much greed in the world today!

03/05/2026: The room was quite dilapidated, with significant damage to the walls, a broken shutter that wouldn't close, cobwebs, dead insects, and accumulated dust on the baseboards and pipes. There was mold and grime on the shower hose, the bottom of the glass, and in the corners of the shower tray. The toilet was so small that a seated adult man's knees hit the door. The bathroom ventilation was so noisy it was unbearable. There was no soundproofing between the room and the rest of the hotel. The TV was very small, propped against the wall by a bath towel. The patio door didn't close properly. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, and the view of Sainte-Baume and the citadel was pleasant. However, considering the state of the room, the price was clearly too high. We will not be staying there again. There is no free parking nearby.

29/03/2026: It's not so much a question of quality as of quantity on the plate... especially for the price! €6 for half a glass of white wine is a bit steep. Perhaps we should have checked reviews of other restaurants before choosing. Anyway. It's a shame, the place is nice.

13/03/2026: Disappointed. Too expensive. There are much better options in the resort. All starters are €15, all main courses €30, but they're not all equal...

19/05/2026: I ordered a truly mediocre and expensive daily special (curried pork stir-fry with a ton of sauce to hide the poor-quality meat and some kind of chestnut cream tiramisu 🙃). The café itself is good. Avoid this place!!!
