14/07/2026: Completely isolated in the heart of nature. A family-run campsite without frills, but with a swimming pool. A few too many written rules scattered throughout the campsite. The biggest drawback is the total lack of cell phone service!

12/07/2026: The welcome was really not up to what one expects when staying in this type of accommodation. It wasn't mentioned that access was limited to one dog, so with two small dogs (including a Chihuahua), it wasn't possible. This detail wasn't mentioned on the website. We decided to leave and were eventually warmly welcomed just a few minutes away.

02/07/2026: A lovely, quiet restaurant with delicious food at a good price. We had a stone-baked pizza, which was generously topped and served very quickly. Pleasant atmosphere. Choose between a large, air-conditioned interior or a terrace. Takeaway is also available. Reservations weren't necessary during the French off-season.

14/06/2026: Three of us arrived at 7:15 PM, ordered three pizzas, and they were served at 8:15 PM... an hour for three pizzas... all that time for two of them to be completely burnt... one and a half waitresses for a full terrace... They were overwhelmed. I can understand the waitressing, but it clearly indicates a lack of staff. Furthermore, the owners weren't there. It was a holiday weekend, go figure... With all that, I'm not sure I'll go back. They definitely need to improve the quality and service.

21/07/2026: We're on vacation and for the past 10 days we've been coming regularly to the Guinguette du Moulin because their ice cream and meals are delicious and plentiful. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and welcoming. Fast service from a young and dynamic team. Thank you!

22/07/2026: - Unpleasant staff, no customer service whatsoever - Better ice cream at the supermarket (a shame considering the price) - 20-minute wait for two ice creams when the restaurant was empty. Isn't it time to retire? Avoid this place!

16/07/2026: As someone who loves hiking in this beautiful region, I've known this place for many years. The food was simple but good. The welcome was rustic, but it had its own little charm nonetheless. Booking a table wasn't easy, and you could tell the "innkeepers" were a bit intimidating. As every year, we tried to stop there: we called at 9 a.m. for lunch, and the response was, "I don't have my reservation book, call me back later." So we did, after rearranging our plans. We decided to book for the next day. Reservation accepted, noted! We hiked in the area and found the restaurant closed! Through a half-open window, we asked the owner for an explanation. She assured us she had warned us that morning, which we absolutely denied. We told her it wasn't good publicity, and she retorted that they were going to close soon anyway. Fellow hikers, steer clear! It's a shame there are so few places to eat in the area. This establishment displays the "Bistrot de Pays" label, and we absolutely don't understand how they were awarded it.

16/07/2026: Avoid in summer, as it's the only restaurant in the area. The service gets a bit overwhelmed by the crowds.

16/07/2026: Four of us adults came in July, market day. We ordered burgers with fries and a daily special. We strongly suspect that the food was frozen. It tasted bland. The ice cream scoops, especially the blueberry, had no flavor. Take the time to ask for and check the bill because you'll end up paying more than you owe. I hope it was for the waitresses' tip because afterwards we realized we left at least €12 more than expected. Not right! We won't be going back.

30/07/2026: An ordinary restaurant. It's a shame the food wasn't more sophisticated. It wasn't Ardèche cuisine, nor was it summer fare. Despite their friendliness, I wasn't tempted to return.

04/08/2026: We tried three ice cream shops on this square, including this one. It might have fewer flavors, but it is certainly worth it and tastier than the two large ice cream parlors on the square! They also have delicious meringue blocks! The saleswoman is very friendly.

04/08/2026: A DISASTER!!! The saleswoman was extremely unpleasant (stressful and unfriendly). The sandwich was dry and tasteless with poor-quality ingredients. The salad was wilted.... In short: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

26/05/2026: Indeed, we share the most recent reviews! Very disappointed, far too expensive for the quality of the meal. The salads at €16, when they're generously filled, are a nice touch... but when you see them arrive... there's practically nothing in them. The set menu... not much better, with just a small potato... the exorbitant prices of the desserts... in short, the bill was a hefty €137 considering what we actually got on our plates! We left hungry, it's truly outrageous, you really need to rethink your approach. Don't be fooled by the restaurant's attractive exterior; it's not everything. The service was pleasant, though, with a very friendly waiter. In short, we wanted to celebrate Mother's Day early... but it was a bust for this restaurant; we absolutely do not recommend it. This was mentioned to the owner on the bill, but he didn't offer any compensation.
