The souvenir shop was the kind you wish you could find everywhere. We could have stayed longer, sipping our coffee by the wood-burning stove. Thank you, dear sir. You warmed my heart and soul.

05/01/2026: We ate at this restaurant yesterday, and what can I say except that we received a warm welcome. There were four of us, all dressed in hiking gear, and we hadn't made a reservation, yet they welcomed us. We all ordered set menus and were frankly not disappointed at all, from the appetizers to the desserts. A truly excellent place; I highly recommend this establishment, located in Larnas, Ardèche. 02/12/2025: We were looking for a place to eat after visiting the Pont d'Arc. We found an unusual restaurant with a plane tree growing right through the middle of the building, its branches extending through the roof. The service was quick and friendly. A great place to eat if you're in the area.

06/03/2026: Today's lunch special was fish with leek fondue and a potato quenelle, perfectly cooked and very flavorful, accompanied by an excellent Crozes-Hermitage white wine. For dessert, the Valrhona chocolate mousse, a modern twist on the classic, was a must-try—a true delight. All this for under €50 for two. Highly recommended.

19/02/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times and I'm always very satisfied. The dishes are carefully prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The dessert, in particular, was surprising and excellent—a truly delightful discovery. I just have one small suggestion regarding the lunch menu: I would have appreciated it including a starter. This would have allowed for a more complete menu, with the option of choosing between a main course and dessert or a starter, main course, and dessert. That's really the only minor drawback. Keep up the good work; the quality is consistently excellent!

There were eight of us, and we all agreed! A lovely inn with a fantastic team offering a minimalist menu, but the dishes are beautiful, colorful, and delicious! The dishes are carefully prepared, not just defrosted. The value for money is also very good. We 100% recommend it if you're passing through Montpezat :)
