11/12/2025: My friend and I were desperately looking for a bathroom and the nicest man at the front desk let us use the one in the restaurant. We were so grateful, A+ customer service.

30/10/2025: This place is very special. The food is good and reasonably priced. However, if you order a flank steak, you might get an entrecôte, or vice versa. Sometimes the wait to be served is very long, but it's worth it. The place is superb, the owner is really friendly, and I've ALWAYS been surprised when it came time to pay: it was always cheaper than I expected! It's also great for children who can play safely nearby. I've even had the chance to get some exceptionally high-quality cuts of meat. It's all a matter of luck. Every time I'm in Ax-les-Thermes, I always make sure to stop by. The rooms are nice too...

30/09/2024: A very warm welcome, excellent bedding, a large wardrobe to store your clothes and a beautiful bathroom, toilet, the whole is very clean, a relaxing rear view of Ariège and a good quality breakfast. A large public car park about 400m away (rates may be excessive and payment varies) with good restaurants nearby for all tastes. Thanks again to the young girl at reception for her kindness and professionalism.

29/09/2024: Very nice address to stay in the beautiful town of Foix. The hotel is perfectly located, its quality services. Spacious and comfortable room. Breakfast is generous and pleasantly served on the veranda overlooking the Ariège. Attentive staff, friendliness and a very warm welcome. A family atmosphere. Recommended without hesitation

16/08/2024: Excellent menus. Porcini mushroom sauces in many dishes. Congratulations on the sweetbread, taken and taken and taken again. We had a blast! We will come back, that's for sure.

01/09/2024: Perhaps I was expecting too much from this establishment... what a disappointment. I never leave bad reviews but there is too much accumulation! Reservation for 8:30 p.m. We come to take our order 25 or 30 minutes after our arrival The waiter who is apparently the pseudo hotel manager is really unpleasant with a tone worthy of a roadside restaurant “No white martini, can I get you a red? » it starts well We wanted to have a food and wine pairing tasting menu, answer: “At this time I don’t think the boss will accept.” (Firstly, if we hadn't waited 30 minutes, perhaps we would have ordered earlier and secondly, if on a Saturday evening at 9 p.m. it is no longer possible to order menus, change jobs! I know it will suit you have it finished at 11 p.m. or midnight but retrain yourself in the bureaucracy with hours 8 a.m.-12/2 p.m.-5 p.m. if those of waiter or cook bore you) Finally he agrees to take our order but informs us that he will not have time to serve us the wines to match the dishes (I'm hallucinating) however he offers me a bottle, I tell him that my wife doesn't drink wine and that a bottle will be too much for me alone... he sends me back a "if you want I'll give you the cork when leaving and you can finish it in the car" (I'm hallucinating again, at the limit a boui-boui waiter would have said that to me I could almost have laughed but in an establishment that wants to be a little upscale I don't understand) "otherwise I can serve you a glass of white and a glass of red but no more, I don’t have time” (that’s okay, I understand correctly) So I order the two glasses and a bottle of sparkling water; the service begins. As for the dishes, we continue on to 8 plates, no waiting between dishes, positive point, for the nice cuisine, nothing extraordinary, it would be a lie to say that it is not good but nothing exceptional. (Given the experience I may no longer be very objective) On the third course, still no wine, I asked another waitress who replied “yes straight away”… obviously I had to ask a second time to one of her colleagues who brought me a glass of white wine! For sparkling water we always wait, same for the glass of red wine. We will not have coffee or digestive although we thought we would have a pleasant time, we prefer to “cut it short” Too bad, on paper it seemed to be a rather upscale restaurant but the reality is quite different, as there is being and appearing. First and last time.

29/08/2024: Mises en bouche très bien , entrée de nouilles sans saveur , st jacques excellentes sauf demandées sans cèpes reçues avec , fromage trop desseches , dessert trop de mousse partout, c est visuellement joliment révisé mais moyen! Sinon personnel professionnel, vue magnifique

22/08/2024: Accueil sympathique. Des plats avec des ingrédients de qualité et frais. Assiettes copieuses. Personnel souriant et agréable. Peu d'attente. Mention spécial pour le menu enfant copieux également et dressé comme les adultes! Très bon rapport qualité prix, je recommande.

29/09/2024: Nothing to say about the service, cleanliness and atmosphere. On the other hand, regarding the menu we found tasteless and quite ordinary cuisine. The cuttlefish “stew” was very disappointing. Pieces of squid cut into cubes bathed in a tasteless sauce. The starter ''tuna rillettes'' we look for the tuna, we find the salt... Tasteless chocolate puff pastry. ..I was expecting something else given the reviews.

19/11/2024: As we were passing through Pamiers to buy a car, we were looking for a small brasserie not far from the point of sale. This brasserie brings together all the elements to have a good time. Copious plates. Excellent meat. Top notch service. We highly recommend.

26/01/2025: Today we tested the restaurant opened last week by charming new owners. We came for our typical azinat dish! A pure delight. A slow-cooked dish like our grandmothers made..... And the surprise: coconut flan! A fine and very tasty homemade dessert. Congratulations in the kitchen, we will be back! E.C.
