03/04/2024: I love coming here every morning to have my lunch or my midday meal or even from time to time my snack the team and superb very smiling very friendly they please when we are in a bad mood be careful this morning I came to have my lunch I am part of what says pains au chocolat I felt a cold from the waitress I understand your reaction but we are not linked that your customers like your good energy early in the morning
30/03/2024: The person who attended us today, Saturday morning, treated us really badly for not being able to communicate, since we do not speak French well and obviously she does not speak Spanish. He was very impatient and treated us badly. I was about to leave the place because of his attitude. He laughed at us talking to other people who were still in line. It makes the place look very bad for tourists who want to have a good time.

09/05/2024: A place right next to the castle, with easy access and a good walk through the town. It offers a la carte and two menus, one economical and the other more expensive but they are about €25. Fast and very friendly service.
We tried the Cassoulet which is typical from there, and very delicious with a strong (consistent) flavor.

02/04/2024: Very good little restaurant always busy at lunchtime. Located in the area it is convenient to get there and park. Quick service if you want to eat during your lunch break. The place is a little noisy, however, when there are people.

10/05/2024: Great welcome. The boss Benoît is very nice. The waiters and even the cook who comes to meet us to chat at the end of the meal. The cuisine is tasty with fresh products. The cassoulet is great. A beautiful atmosphere and passionate people, that's what a good restaurant is.

We discovered it by chance as we were having a drink before looking for a place to have dinner.
At the aperitif, the waiter, very friendly, offered me several wine options, explaining the differences between them. My husband chose a special beer, with red fruits. Very rich too.
Seeing the dishes that were being passed around, we decided to stay for dinner.
We ordered the foie, cassoulet and the duck magret. For dessert we shared a delicious coulant.
Everything was delicious, generous portions.
We tried a couple of wines recommended by the waiter.
We would repeat without hesitation.
01/04/2024: No complaints. We had dinner twice in this restaurant. The cuisine is delicious, refined and varied. The staff is very friendly. They are listening. We can share the dishes as a way of tasting. Excellent Easter suggestions.
I highly recommend.

The servers are top notch, dynamic, friendly, friendly team.
We have been going there regularly for several years and it feels like home.
The cuisine is fresh, the meat is local and we enjoy it.
We love continuing like this.

31/03/2024: DONT GET THE STEAK!! Everything else looked lovely. We made the mistake of getting the stake, it was very fatty and tough. It was a very cheap cut, not entrecôte. But lovely service and nice restaurant. Stick to the duck!

Buffet starter (with excellent products), main course with a choice of duck confit style, sirloin, pork with caramel...), dessert, coffee and wine for less than 20 euros. You surprise me that it's armored...

01/04/2024: A very good option if you visit La Cité Carcassonne. The menu has a good price for the area (€16.50).
The service is good and some waiters speak Spanish, which makes communication easier. The portion of the chicken with mushrooms is small but with the garnishes it is enough. The desserts are good but not the best. My recommendation is the Cassoulet.

01/04/2024: Very attentive service. We went without a reservation and everything was OK. The food is OK, but it doesn't stand out. Which highlights that the sweet potato fries are ugly, rubbery and cold.

29/03/2024: We didn’t like the service. We wanted crepes - written in big letters on the wall. They don’t make them except in the evening. Why…. They were’t even apologetic about it…
Place was empty, but they made us move to a different table if we only want coffee.
Card only over 10 euros. Don’t have change for big bills… really these people are still in the 90s
