05/04/2024: The food is quite delicious (especially the magret de canard). The somewhat high price, especially if we talk about beer, like in the entire neighboring country, which seems crazy to me. We had to ask for water three times for them to give it to us, almost as soon as we got to the desserts.
01/04/2024: Not only is the setting nice, but the service is even more so. Very very good cuisine and welcome and a rare thing it is possible to reserve!!!

It is a very picturesque and at the same time very authentic place, with very friendly portions and for me, a very friendly and attentive service. Special mention for Magret, foi, and Tiramisu. 28/01/2024: This is our absolute favourite restaurant in Carcassonne. We have been so many times and have never been disappointed. A true hidden gem. Enjoy the shady garden in the Summer or the cosy interior in the Winter. I highly recommend booking.

06/05/2024: Super cozy spot with a cozy green terrace where you can enjoy the sun in the afternoon and find some shade. Delicious wine and aperitif. Service was also top notch. When choosing a drink, the waiter asks the right questions to find something completely to your taste. One to remember and definitely recommended to rest and enjoy after an interesting visit to the chateau.
27/04/2024: Great spot for a local glass of wine or cappuccino. Back courtyard is peaceful and a quiet retreat from the busy street. Not a touristy place.

09/02/2024: Restaurant offering a takeaway table service so you can eat on the ramparts while enjoying the view! Very nice ! (promise we put it back in its place)

In short, I highly recommend this restaurant in the heart of the citadel of Carcassonne which will serve you a very good Cassoulet. However, I recommend booking in advance to ensure a spot.
