22/09/2026: Beautiful terrace setting with views of the castle and the lake. Pleasant and relaxing.

21/09/2026: We went there as a group of 16 with our car club. Despite forgetting to confirm our reservation, they still welcomed us even though the restaurant was nearly full. A friendly and efficient team. Quick service, no waiting. Delicious food at a very reasonable price. Don't hesitate to try this restaurant; you won't regret it!

19/09/2026: A huge disappointment, especially after experiencing the previous version. The menu is much more limited, and we waited an hour and a half to be served, only to receive a dreadful meal that was neither worthy of the price nor the promised quality. The person at the bar (the owner, I think) was incredibly unfriendly, and she served drinks, cleared glasses, and served desserts without any regard for hygiene. Luckily, our waitress was very pleasant. In short, I strongly advise against going there.

11/09/2026: Passing through Aurillac, I stopped for lunch and what a surprise! A menu where everyone can find what they're looking for. Excellent staff.

21/08/2026: A super-friendly spot in the heart of Aurillac! I stopped by to have a coffee and ended up having lunch there. Their nuggets and fries are really tasty, and the staff are really friendly, even when they have to handle dozens of orders, as they do during the Festival International de Théâtre de Rue. I highly recommend it if you want to escape the crowds, have a coffee or a quick lunch, and enjoy a glass of cold water.

11/05/2026: Despite a modernized dining room, the food is very mediocre, with industrial burgers priced like "homemade" ones. Also avoid the toilets, which leak.

24/07/2026: Excellent! Open all day, accepts late orders. Delicious daily special (zucchini/beef skewers), tiramisu tried and tested.

26/09/2026: Stop in Aurillac on a Saturday evening during a motorcycle road trip. There are many restaurants in the town. This one caught my eye. The staff and food were excellent, and the setting was very pleasant. I recommend it.

18/09/2026: Don't come to this kebab shop, it's cold and undercooked; you'll see dry white meat.

09/06/2026: Honestly, the plates are generously filled and well-presented, and you can ask for more sauces without any problem. The kebab meat isn't greasy at all. I'll be back as soon as I can.

10/08/2026: Passing through at lunchtime, I was greeted by a lovely young woman, but my order was taken by a young man who seemed reluctant to be there. The €14 mixed salad was more salad than filling, expensive for what it was and the portion size. For dessert, a tiramisu that wasn't really tiramisu at all. I'm still wondering where the mascarpone cream went, since the €5 ramekin only contained coffee-flavored ladyfingers. Again, expensive for what it was and the portion size.

09/09/2025: We happened to be passing by and were quite disappointed with the meal. The salmon was far too overcooked and lacked any real preparation. We were hoping for an improvement with dessert, but no such luck. I'm not much of a cook, but I'm sure I could do much better.

09/09/2025: Cheap, OK, but... for the same price, anyone could do better. No choice of dishes! OK, but what was offered was inedible, or nearly so (we were starving). Two large ladles of rice to fill us up, accompanied by three slices of zucchini and a piece of overcooked salmon. Dessert? Instead of crème brûlée, I got warm custard with sugar. The only positive was the excellent local cheese. What a shame, we would have enjoyed it so much more with real bread! Sorry, but out of a week of eating out for lunch and dinner in half of France, you will remain our worst memory.
