15/02/2026: When I order an iced tea, why do they bring me a tasteless peach syrup that has nothing to do with it, just to save money? Outside, the sign says Truffade €12.60, so why give me this spiel about it being a side dish? Change your sign, change your line of work! Besides, the truffade was overflowing the plate, it was poorly served with a single lettuce leaf to sell me a steak that came from Lidl across the street. Luckily I was hungry, otherwise I would have run for the hills. The plate was empty, no joke. It's not enough to have a nice decor; you also have to serve good food. We're far from that. I won't be eating at your place again; I had a stomachache all night. Run away!

07/12/2025: First-floor room, to the right of the elevator... Well heated, despite what must be extremely thin interior walls. The restaurant is excellent, the service discreet and warm.

20/11/2025: A very pleasant stay at the Hôtel Saint Georges in Riom. The welcome was attentive and friendly, the bedding excellent, and the hotel very quiet and well located. I highly recommend it.

08/09/2025: Mediocre meal. Very average starter, meat pie good but nothing special, dessert disastrous... Paris Brest uncooked, questionable cream...

09/09/2025: We dropped by by chance and were simply very disappointed with the meal. The salmon was way overcooked and not really prepared. We were hoping for an improvement with dessert, but no. I don't really know how to cook, but I'm sure I'll do much better.

09/09/2025: Cheap OK but.... for the same price anyone could do better. No choice of dishes! OK but those offered are inedible or almost (we were very hungry) 2 large ladles of rice to fill us up accompanied by 3 slices of zucchini and a piece of overcooked salmon. Dessert? Instead of crème brûlée I had hot custard with sugar. The only plus, the excellent local cheese. Too bad, we would have appreciated it so much more with real bread! Sorry, but over a week of restaurant lunch and dinner in half of France you will remain our worst memory

02/02/2026: Extremely disappointed. We used to eat regularly at this restaurant with its beautiful decor, and even though it's a bit pricey, it's good enough to keep coming back. But this time... the perfect egg turned out to be a soft-boiled egg, and the braised beef was so tough you couldn't cut it. Anyway, we went to the till and mentioned it to the person behind the bar who was ringing us up, and... no complimentary coffee, not even a word of apology. He spoke to us as if we were idiots who knew nothing... for him, everything was fine, since he'd been supervising it in the kitchen. So we left, and we won't be going back. Paying a lot for bad food is one thing, but to be treated so condescendingly on top of that... intolerable.

29/01/2026: While passing through Aurillac, we enjoyed the set menu this Wednesday. We were blown away by the pumpkin crème brûlée. The flavors were perfectly balanced between the pumpkin flan and the touch of caramelized sugar. The confit beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Furthermore, we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff. We highly recommend it if you're ever in the area.
