04/03/2026: Good afternoon, we arrived on the evening of March 3, 2026, at 10:05 PM. The entrance was blocked by a container and a cable. My husband went to look for the owner, but a woman opened the door and said we had to pay 15 euros. We went to a restaurant in the morning. We thought, like everywhere else with restaurants, we'd pay for parking, even if it was an extra charge. It turns out that doesn't work here. The translator said there was an extra charge for the kitchen, but we ended up paying the full amount. We were told it was for a burger. We were a bit shocked when we saw the burger—half a loaf of bread with a piece of sausage in the middle, no salad, no sauce, and it was cold. He said we'd pay 14.20 euros. I'll attach a photo. The toilet is free, thankfully, but if you sweat from the burger, you can swim for 3 euros. Not recommended 🫣

30/04/2026: We were passing through Cognac and had lunch at this restaurant. The buffet offered a variety of salads, pâté, and plenty of choice. The daily special was delicious, as were the desserts, which included tiramisu, chocolate mousse, cheesecake, and crème brûlée. The staff we spoke with were really friendly.
