I paid 22 euros and that's it)) all included)) dinner. Shower 🚿 🚿 🚿 parking. The toilet and shower are clean, even very... the water is super. Thanks to the owner for such a nice, cozy place. I will definitely always stay here. Respect and respect

12/02/2026: Friendly welcome but disappointed with the meal from start to finish. Frozen and not properly thawed, ordered medium-rare and served like shoe leather, and that's not all. What a shame.

04/03/2026: Good afternoon, we arrived on the evening of March 3, 2026, at 10:05 PM. The entrance was blocked by a container and a cable. My husband went to look for the owner, but a woman opened the door and said we had to pay 15 euros. We went to a restaurant in the morning. We thought, like everywhere else with restaurants, we'd pay for parking, even if it was an extra charge. It turns out that doesn't work here. The translator said there was an extra charge for the kitchen, but we ended up paying the full amount. We were told it was for a burger. We were a bit shocked when we saw the burger—half a loaf of bread with a piece of sausage in the middle, no salad, no sauce, and it was cold. He said we'd pay 14.20 euros. I'll attach a photo. The toilet is free, thankfully, but if you sweat from the burger, you can swim for 3 euros. Not recommended 🫣

02/03/2026: I had a drink at this bar last night. Nice...but two problems: You can't order at the bar; you have to sit down and wait for a server to serve you... A real shame when you're very thirsty and want to serve yourself directly at the bar... And also, it's a shame they don't offer beers from Brasserie Nationale (which is only a few hundred meters away).

01/03/2026: Good evening, Your waiter with the shoulder-length hair and beard was very unpleasant. He claimed we ordered a Monaco, which we never requested, and threatened to ban us from the bar if we didn't pay for this drink, which he completely made up. To make matters worse, he was very rude and condescending.

24/02/2026: A real find and a little gem!! Homemade cuisine with quality ingredients. Smiling and attentive waitresses. A cozy and intimate atmosphere. In short, everything is there for a great time. We will definitely be back!!

15/03/2026: Mixed experience. The location and the exterior of the hotel are truly beautiful and pleasant. However, the prices quoted over the phone when booking were incorrect: €188 for two nights became €196 + €12 per hour PER PERSON for the jacuzzi instead of €10 (€24 for 1 hour for 2 people with a non-functional hammam, a small sauna, and a dirty, not very hot jacuzzi). Furthermore, for a four-star hotel, the room was nice and well-decorated, but there was a lot of noise from the elevator all day and night. Upon arrival, we discovered a problem with the boiler. We were advised not to take long showers, but no compensation was offered. The only positive points are that the breakfast and the restaurant are excellent, featuring fresh, local products.

06/03/2026: The hotel is quiet and pleasant. The drawings in the rooms are very nice (we had the room with the ostriches). The coffee tray in the rooms is a bit meager (only one coffee and one decaf) with no cake.

13/03/2026: What a pleasant discovery during my stay in Angoulême! The welcome, the atmosphere, the meat, and the homemade fries were delicious. An address I'll keep and recommend. On sunny days, this place must be even more enjoyable. Congratulations on your professionalism.

08/03/2026: The directions to the restaurant were poor; even when you call, it's not easy to find. The welcome was friendly and very professional, with lots of explanations, perhaps even a bit too much 😉 There was a lot of choice, but some disappointments: some sweet treats were dry or hard, and the burger was like a rock 😑 And some basic items that you could easily find in a small airport hotel. The service was a huge disappointment. We booked for 1:30 pm, but at 2:00 pm we were told they were finished with the meat and egg dishes, and at 2:30 pm they told us they were removing the savory items. Basically, we had to have brunch in 30 minutes... Honestly, it didn't live up to the location and the setting. We expected a much more refined experience considering the price (€55 per person). It was a real letdown 😔

29/12/2025: We stopped by chance because it was 1 p.m., we were hungry but short on time! We found a good meal (burger, pasta, chicken curry, sandwich, pizza…), drinks, and quality coffee to take away or eat in! We had lunch there (tables, chairs, cutlery, restrooms…)! The welcome was very pleasant, the place is clean and well-maintained! We will gladly return!

26/10/2025: A very average salad (pasta, chicken), a bad lemon tart, a baguette that looked like it was from the day before and a can of beer... All for €14!!!! It's frankly excessive...

17/02/2026: Thank you again for this delicious meal! I'm a regular customer of the duck breast and I'm never disappointed! I highly recommend this restaurant! The tiramisu is also a treat. Currently, I'm using Uber Eats to have my meal delivered to my home (duck breast + fries + flavored sauce) and (salad with walnuts) in two different packages, and I'm NEVER disappointed! A resounding success! 🫶 See you soon, one of your most loyal customers ☺️

22/01/2026: No frills here: good meats grilled over a wood fire, with generous portions and quality ingredients. The fries are a treat too. I tried the pork spider steak (not so common) which was very tasty. It's also worth noting that it's a pizzeria.
