On the other hand, service leaving something to be desired
11/08/2024: I recommend it because it is very friendly, clean, Paola and her mother are superb people. Every time I go there there is an atmosphere.
Parcontre for the presentation of the plates needs to be reviewed but it is always a treat.
For the waitress it's not great because no smile, no time to finish when she arrives with dessert.
Limit throwing plates on the table.
The worst part is no good evening or thank you.

22/08/2024: Passage on 08/22, salespeople barely friendly, we had to insist to be served. The sandwiches and paninis not filled enough given the price... Open terrace, but not accessible for us?!! Without explanation...
I advise against it.

02/07/2024: I organized a meal for an association. The feedback I received from those present was excellent. We were very well received. Friendly dynamic staff. A succulent meal with well-stocked plates. I highly recommend this establishment. Personally, I really appreciated the availability of the owner both the days before the meal to organize us and on the day.

19/08/2024: One Sunday lunchtime in August, we stopped at Le Coq d'Or which is well rated on Google. We are with our 2 daughters on the terrace who behave well. The food is ok nothing more. I take my daughters to the bathroom and in the meantime, the waiter offers my husband a coffee and says "you must need it with all these girls". I find it sexist and unwelcome, especially since the children behaved very well at the table.

The cuisine is varied, I really liked it

17/09/2024: Second dinner at this establishment. Jovial and friendly boss. Fast ordering and efficient service. We ate very well. End of dinner with a very informative tasting and history of Cognac.
10/09/2024: I knew this restaurant before its takeover, and it was already very good. Not only is the quality always there, but the plates are plentiful and the service is very pleasant. My kidneys were cooked to perfection.

11/08/2024: First of all, very pleasant and smiling waitress which is really appreciated.
Very reasonable price: 20 euros (excluding supplement) for starter/main course/dessert.
However, we both take duck foie gras as a starter (€4 each extra) and we are brought a plate for 2 with a ridiculously small slice of foie gras for two people.
I happily agree to pay an extra 8 euros and do so with a smile if it is justified, but I do not accept that people make fun of their customers by taking them for pigeons.
Concerning the dishes and desserts, they were quite good and in line with the prices charged.
06/08/2024: Excellent cuisine but largely undersized: we waited more than an hour for our dishes!

Salt was on the table but what about sugar? Know that it is vacant. In no case was sugar on the table until I ordered a small kawa where two packets of sugar and small creams were given to me. 16/08/2023: I found that the cocktails were very expensive (10 to 12 euros), more expensive than in the local or seaside restaurants. Concerning the profiteroles that we had for dessert, we had to wait more than half a time to be served; all this to eat very dry cabbages (supposedly homemade... I doubt it, or they weren't new!!)
