17/09/2026: A very nice place in the city center, the terrace is under a lovely tree! I'm taking off one star for the service (very slow) and the limited food menu (it's a tapas restaurant), but they were already out of cheese platters by 8 pm!

09/09/2026: Stopped by Le Bel Ombra for a drink and really enjoyed it! Such a lovely, charming place with a great atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy a drink, and watch the world go by.

30/06/2026: We played at Golf de Sperone 4 times last year and twice on our holiday this year. This year we booked our first game on their website which redirects you to Golfnow eu. We booked a tee time for 7.40am and arrived at 7am so we could collect hire clubs and a buggy. The club was closed and didn’t open until 8am in June yet we booked via their website! For the second round we asked our apartment owner to telephone and book for us. She confirmed she had done this and when we arrived to play they told us we didn’t have a reservation! Last year we found the majority of staff to be very aggressive and unfriendly and hoped it would be better this year. Unfortunately it wasn’t. The lady who looks after the buggies and hire clubs is very stern and does not make you feel welcome. The bar staff are not much friendlier. Coffee is 5 euros for a tiny cup and a large shandy is 11 euros. The menu is fancy food and very expensive. The pro shop staff seem to have problems with checking in every guest and if you are happy to pay 110 euros for a polo shirt then you might be happy here! It cost us 395 euros for 2 people to play with hire clubs and a buggy. Did it feel like good value for money? No! On a positive note the course is lovely with fabulous views and is pretty challenging. The greens run slow but overall it is in good condition and a great experience to play here. It’s a pity the whole experience isn’t as nice as the course itself.

23/09/2026: A fantastic discovery at Shanka Bar! I had a great meal: the dishes were delicious, the portions were just right for the price, and the overall experience was really enjoyable. I was particularly impressed by the service: the staff were fantastic, always smiling and very welcoming. You immediately feel at ease in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Special mention also goes to the speed of the service, despite the still-busy atmosphere at the end of September. A great place to eat in Porto-Vecchio, I'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

30/09/2026: We didn't feel welcome at all; the meat was inedible, almost raw, and we had requested medium. It's a shame about the animal that had to die for it, and I can certainly spend €21 more wisely.

27/09/2026: The place is nice and the waitresses are pleasant. However, we were quite disappointed with the food. We ordered homemade cordon bleu and ended up with a rather unusual version: turkey ham swimming in a large amount of béchamel sauce, with the meat unfortunately undercooked… We simply would have appreciated being told that the dish was being prepared this way, as it's clearly not what you expect when you order cordon bleu.

13/09/2026: A magical seaside experience. The staff were fantastic, attentive yet not intrusive. A very good lunch with a presentation of the fish and desserts worthy of a fine city restaurant. Thank you to the team. I'll definitely be back.

13/06/2026: We spent two nights in a room overlooking the sea. We were able to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the place by opening the shutters each morning. Breakfast was more than enough to recharge our batteries, and the owners were incredibly kind! We have absolutely no complaints; we had a wonderful time!

11/09/2026: The food is very good. But we had to wait an hour and a half to be served. The poor waitress, who was very kind, apologized several times even though it wasn't her fault. I really don't recommend it because of the slow service; the kitchen isn't keeping up.

25/05/2026: A very welcoming family-run hotel, well located in Sartène with parking. Comfortable rooms and good food. Magnificent sunset views over the Gulf of Valinco from the restaurant and terrace.

Lan'k is also where we met an extraordinary person, Max, who works alongside his wife and daughter in the dining room. See you next year, Max!

01/10/2026: A restaurant you have to earn! 😄 Either by boat or with a longer hike – but that's precisely what makes the visit a little adventure. Once you arrive, you're greeted by a beautiful beach, a stunning bay, and a truly special atmosphere. And then there are the cows! 🐄 They wander around the beach and the neighboring restaurants completely relaxed – they've clearly already claimed their favorite spots. 😂 A truly extraordinary place with lots of charm, nature, and a vacation vibe. If you're not afraid of cows on the beach and enjoy venturing off the beaten path, you should definitely check it out.

04/01/2026: I don't recommend it. The food was good, but the waiter was awful! There were only two tables occupied, and this pushy waiter tried to charge us for desserts and coffees we hadn't ordered. He was aggressive until the chef arrived. What a shame for this restaurant!

20/09/2026: It was a bit disappointing: when a restaurant is selected by Gault & Millau, you are entitled to expect something. Beautiful location, but the food and service were somewhat underwhelming. The starters were very reasonable (Shrimp and Tempura, Tartare aux 3 Tomates & Burrata), but the main course (Pâtes aux gambas) was a real letdown. Not very refined, the shrimps were just not quite cooked enough, and the sauce was a bit strange. And that for the most expensive main course on the menu. And unfortunately, the service wasn't exactly something to get excited about either. A pity.
