The cuisine is consistently surprising and refined, with perfectly balanced touches that reveal the exceptional talent of a truly outstanding chef. The welcome is also always top-notch: warm, attentive, and genuine. We return every year with the same enthusiasm and pleasure. For us, it's an essential stop in Beaune.

27/02/2026: We had a very pleasant time at this restaurant. The service was impeccable, and the starters and main courses were outstanding. We were full for dessert, but the plates we saw being served looked very promising. We had a chance to chat with the waiter and the owner at the end of our meal; they are very friendly people who clearly care about making their customers happy with their cooking. A great place to remember and return to on our next trip to Beaune.

04/04/2026: A superb discovery during my visit to the city; everything was perfect, from the service to the food. I thoroughly enjoyed the beef bourguignon. The welcome was very pleasant. For such high-quality service, I even found the price more than reasonable.

17/03/2026: If you want to sample authentic Burgundian cuisine, this is the place to be. The ‘oeufs en meurette’ and the ‘boeuf bourguignon’ are exquisite. The service is also very friendly and efficient. The restaurant is also very atmospheric, especially downstairs, where you sit in the vaulted ceilings.

26/02/2026: We randomly walked into one of Beaune's many restaurants. And it was the right choice! Here, they cook, and it's delicious. The customer is king, and they make sure you know it. Thank you also for the warm welcome. Of course, it wasn't full on that Wednesday evening in February, but I'm sure it's the same the rest of the year. Special mention to the chocolate fondant to finish. Well done and thank you.

24/02/2026: The food is simple yet delicious, fresh and inventive, the wines by the glass are very good, and the service is efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is colorful and convivial. A lovely place that we enjoyed so much we came back the next day! And we'll be back next year!

16/03/2026: These folks were sweet kind and patient cause I didn’t speak any French and I wanted to try more traditional French foods, and they have a set menu options for lunch to make it less expensive but you can choose from the set menu. I chose escargot which by far at this restaurant it was my favorite from all of France. They seasoned it soo soo well. I also the got the boeuf bourguignon it was very tender !

28/02/2026: We came as a family for dinner on a Friday evening; this restaurant had been recommended to us by a local shopkeeper. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, with a special mention for the scallop carpaccio, which was delicious. And I would like to commend the kindness and attentiveness of the person who looked after us, especially with our tired two-year-old son. Finally, the place is cozy and pleasant; we felt very comfortable there!

22/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, very high-quality food, original dishes, generous portions, perfect service! Just one very minor drawback, but not unique to this otherwise excellent establishment: the slightly high price of the wines, unfortunately a common issue in the region. Highly recommended.

23/01/2026: My favorite place when travelling to Beaune. La Maison du Colombier is a must stop for any Burgundy lover. The wine list is one of the best i've ever seen, with fair prices. The food is delicious, well made, with high quality ingredients. Antoine, the sommelier, is very knowledgeable, explaining with precision every wine and suggesting always the right one. The other staff is very kind and welcoming. Highly reccomended!

31/01/2026: Our must-stop when heading south from Paris! ❤️ A place we never miss on this route. We ordered the roast chicken and it was absolutely delicious: incredibly flavorful poultry, perfectly crispy skin, juicy and tender meat. The portion was incredibly generous; we were two big eaters and we couldn't finish it all, that's how good it was! The small roasted potatoes with garlic and parsley that came with it were a treat in themselves. The service was top-notch: the staff was really friendly, smiling, and full of helpful advice. They gave us tons of great tips for our weekend in the region, which was so appreciated and really made a difference. In short, generous, authentic, and comforting cuisine in a warm atmosphere. We highly recommend it and we already know we'll be back every time we head south!
