24/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience, a very comprehensive menu, and top-notch service. The only thing I would suggest regarding my dish to the kitchen team is that the plain pan-fried vegetables could have been cooked in brown butter (but I think that's just my sweet tooth talking).

09/07/2026: What a disappointment... The service was friendly, but very slow. Unfortunately, the meal didn't live up to expectations: the meat was far too tough, almost inedible, and the side dishes were excessively salty. The cheese course was sorely lacking in cheese, and the dessert was very acidic and poorly presented. It's a shame, because with more attention paid to the cooking and plating, the experience could have been much better.

25/07/2026: We had a wonderful time, absolutely perfect, from the quality of the service to the food. The staff were very attentive, and the tour was even narrated by a passionate guide. Thank you for this lovely experience celebrating my parents' 80th birthday. This place and tour are definitely worth discovering.

04/07/2026: Shockingly bad food. Ordered the “fish of the day” which was ok-ish but lacked any seasoning or flavouring. The mashed potatoes that came with it in a kilner jar were warm on the outside and freezing cold in the middle. We asked for them to be changed, I had chips, that were fine, but my wife got the SAME MASHED POTATOES I HAD, it had the centre of it missing where I had taken it out, but had been microwaved again. Very poor restaurant, best avoided

04/06/2026: Simple, but perfect! The welcome, the restaurant, and the warm breakfast crepe! The sea is less than a 5-minute walk away. I highly recommend it. Excellent value for money, a wonderful find.

The decor is tasteful, elegant, and welcoming, with high-quality bedding. You sleep very peacefully. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and you can tell the new owners are committed to offering a professional and modern service while preserving the charm of the place. The breakfast is generous, with excellent products, and the overall atmosphere of the inn makes you want to extend your stay. A wonderful place to stay in Moncontour, ideal for a weekend getaway or a longer break. We will definitely be back!

03/03/2026: This is my second time in the area, and I keep coming back to this lovely restaurant. The lunch menu is excellent. Good value for money. The starter buffet is well-stocked. Choice of three good-quality main courses. One drink included in the set menu (wine or non-alcoholic). A spacious dining room. Pleasant service.

The food was delicious, high-quality, and beautifully presented in suitable dishes; you just had to put them on the table. All my guests were delighted and thoroughly enjoyed their meal. 17/05/2026: We ordered three pizzas. One Margherita (14 euros) and two Marinata pizzas (17 euros each) without peppers, plus 15 euros extra for cooked ham and cured ham. I can't even tell you the size of the pizzas for the exorbitant sum of 63 euros; it's truly unacceptable. I called to complain, and they told me there's always a problem with our orders. Which is to be expected when you pay 47 euros one time, 53 euros another, and now 63 euros for the same thing—there's a problem, isn't there?

05/05/2026: First time for us, and a wonderful discovery. The pizza dough was delicious, thin, crispy, and generously topped. Having tried several pizzerias, this is one of the best I've ever been to. The crème brûlée for dessert was also a success. Nothing to complain about. See you soon.

02/07/2026: A nice little café with a culinary offering that's a welcome change from the ordinary and deserves to take you on a journey around the world of potatoes. Simple but very well-prepared meals, and inexpensive for the location. Well done on your menu! I won't hesitate to come back for another delicious meal.

26/06/2026: A bar where the waiter greets you with jokes as good and refreshing as the beers he serves! We also had salads, which were generously filled and reasonably priced. Plus, the view is lovely! I recommend it!
