19/03/2026: Passing through Loudéac, I had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant: fortunate, because there were only a handful of seats left, the place was packed, so you should definitely book in advance if you want to eat there; and a pleasure because the dishes are high quality, prepared with local produce and with great skill in cooking them. The set lunch menu (starter, main course, and dessert) is €18, and the service is very professional and efficient; the courses flow seamlessly. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to the region.

11/03/2026: While visiting Bretagne, I had here my first+the best, *homemade Galette bretonne — in a restaurant* ever. I don’t remember which one (there’s a diverse variété to choose from), but it was for sure! The viking’s recommendation. 🥹😇🙏 There’s a first time for everything & So was, for me, visiting Bretagne -as in vacation (but not as a tourist, in my ❤️ ). Sooo i guess its called BeNew for a reason 🍾— this stands for Le Cidre de 🍎🍏 If you don’t believe me, ask the waitress, or the vikings. 🌝

08/03/2026: A very good place, the welcome is warm and friendly, the dining room is quite pleasant, the service is quick, and the galettes are perfect, with generous and high-quality fillings. The menu is varied. A special mention goes to the Madeleine and Yuzu hazelnut spread galette (from the neighboring pastry shop of the same name): a pure hazelnut concentrate, absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the three of us had a lovely time yesterday at lunchtime before the IUT open house 😉.

03/03/2026: A good restaurant that stays open all afternoon! The concept of large meat skewers served vertically on a stand is very appealing and original. The dishes are good for reasonable prices. The service is quick and friendly. However, the "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) is more than disappointing: €8.50 for two mini meringues, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and two small glasses of cream!

23/02/2026: In my opinion, the best restaurant in the area. The food is excellent with elegant presentation. The staff is very friendly. The menu is varied. High-end dishes at affordable prices. Personally, given the size of the restaurant, I wouldn't go with young children, but it's the perfect place for a romantic dinner, for example.

30/11/2025: I came with my parents last night and was delighted with this place. Cozy atmosphere with the fireplace, pleasant and attentive staff, and delicious food (the scallop galette, Jeanne's style, was excellent). I will gladly return.

05/03/2026: The welcome and service give the impression of being in a gourmet restaurant, but the food itself is far from it. I ordered a chicken fricassee, tagine-style, which tasted like bouillon cubes, and the semolina was mushy, sticky, and tasteless. Frankly, apart from the presentation, we've eaten better at roadside diners. Furthermore, when ordering, I asked the waiter if they had wine by the carafe. He said yes, so I told him I'd like red, and he gave me a choice of three wines: a Côtes du Rhône, a Merlot, or a Gamay. I found this odd, so I looked at the menu and saw that only the Merlot was available by the carafe. If I hadn't checked, I would have ended up with an extra €20 on my bill! It's a pretentious restaurant that isn't worth the prices it charges, except perhaps to pay for the impressive number of waiters.
