13/01/2026: Fantastic experience! Warm atmosphere, welcoming and always smiling staff. The drinks are excellent and well-served, with great value for money. An ideal place to spend a great time with friends. I highly recommend it!

22/12/2025: Their beers are very different and delicious. The sausage comes whole, you slice and serve it yourself. The ail des ours is particularly good. The Comte cheese should also be tried. The prices are quite reasonable. Tarte flambee is only served on weekends.

15/01/2026: A restaurant we love to go to for its friendly atmosphere and good food. The only slight drawback: the frozen fries; homemade fries would greatly improve the experience. Special mention goes to the very pleasant service, which was especially attentive to children: they were served first, equipment was available (high chairs, changing table), and the staff went out of their way to care for them. A great family restaurant at an affordable price.

01/02/2026: Had a great time at Hippopotamus. The staff is friendly and professional, the food is delicious and beautifully presented. The meat was cooked perfectly, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10/12/2025: We had lunch with three adults at the restaurant. It is important to note the kind and good attitude of the waiter Victor who served us, including providing explanations about the food and recommendations on what to take. The vegetable soup was excellent, and as main courses we took pulled pork and salmon, both dishes were excellent and good. For dessert we ordered chocolate mousse and lemon cake, both dishes were simply excellent. We highly recommend the restaurant, the rating given to it does it a great injustice.

14/10/2025: Great, cozy little place with friendly service, young lady spoke English as my French is limited. Food was very good, be warned the portions were pretty good.

27/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at our Christmas Eve dinner. The welcome was exceptional. The waitress was incredibly kind, her wine recommendations were impeccable, and the quality and freshness of the ingredients were perfect. There's absolutely nothing to criticize. The dishes are prepared right before your eyes by the chef, who clearly loves his work. A lovely little touch upon arrival (a box of chocolates) was a delightful surprise. We drove an hour and a half to spend this unforgettable romantic evening together, and we will be back as soon as possible.

13/09/2025: We arrived at 8 p.m. and were turned away from the three-quarters empty dining room, on the pretext that there was nothing left in the kitchen! A Saturday night! Better to go sell bracelets on the beach!

18/12/2025: We traveled from December 8th to 11th with Salaun Holidays. Dinner was very generous and varied; we thoroughly enjoyed your Alsatian cuisine. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. I highly recommend them.
