23/06/2026: Fantastic place! The service was superb and the chef was simply perfect! We had the ribeye steak and frogs' legs and we weren't disappointed! We highly recommend it!

31/08/2026: I see why this restaurant is rated a 4. But the reviews say get there early as it fills up. I ordered the classic sausage and lentils. Thankfully they put some excellent mustard on the table as the lentils were very bland. The sausage was good with the mustard. The atmosphere is lovely sitting outside on a busy square.

29/08/2026: We arrived a little late, at 1 p.m., but we received a very warm welcome. The food was perfect, the portions were just right, and the onion quiche with (a nice touch) wholegrain mustard was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant; excellent value for money! 👍👍

27/08/2026: An excellent experience! The place is simple and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. The homemade dishes are delicious and the prices are really affordable. Perfect for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago! I highly recommend it.

15/08/2026: A truly wonderful time! The setting is lovely, with large, well-spaced tables outside in the shade. The farm-fresh products were delicious, expertly prepared and presented. The salads with goat cheese were excellent, and the meat, side dishes, fresh cheese, and superb Vacherin cheese were the perfect finishing touches! The welcome was very warm, and the waitress was lovely too! There were 11 of us, and everyone was delighted. 😀

30/07/2026: A family lunch at La Cabriole, in a peaceful and authentic rural setting, with a superb view of the Haute-Loire countryside. Here, everything is prepared on the farm: the delicious goat cheeses, the kid raised on-site and cooked to perfection by Mrs. Grangeon, not to mention the excellent homemade desserts. Thank you to Jean for his warm welcome and advice, especially for discovering the local Mazesté beers and regional wines. A true farm-inn where people come for the quality of the products, the simplicity, and the authenticity. A truly wonderful experience that we will gladly repeat.

25/08/2026: Bad experience, twice over. One waitress was very nice, but unfortunately left too early for her break. Then, the waiters were unpleasant, the Cokes were served at room temperature, and the bill was hefty (4 euros per drink, on average, for Cokes, juice, and a shandy). As an added bonus, both times we went, a waiter didn't give us our change, offering the same excuse: "Sorry, I put it on the till and forgot to give it to you." Not a great experience, so I'll wait a while before coming back. Maybe the end of summer will change the waiters' attitude.

17/08/2026: While on vacation here, we wanted to go for a drink. On our first day, we ordered mojitos and ended up with a non-alcoholic mojito without ice, very poorly prepared. We decided to go back a second time, and this time after a 20-minute wait, gestures indicating we wanted to take our order, and then seeing that other people had just arrived and were served immediately, I don't think that's right. So we left. Avoid this place.

04/08/2026: A lovely terrace where you can enjoy a meal in the peaceful countryside. The staff are very friendly, the menu is enticing, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend it!

21/05/2026: We had the apartment, very spacious, but no kitchen tools, so you cannot cook. But the restaurant is excellent, so no worries.

03/05/2026: A place out of time. We stumbled upon it on our way to our holiday destination and found a delightful restaurant in a dreamlike setting. The village is enchanting, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. So much so that we'll gladly return on our way back. Thank you for the books, the warm welcome, and the friendliness. Sylvie, Anaïs, and little Ambre, who knows you and is on a first-name basis with you.

21/05/2026: The rooms are dated, but the bedding is good quality, the location is quiet, and the staff is very welcoming. The breakfast buffet is a bit limited in choice... it would be nice to have scrambled eggs or an omelet...

08/08/2026: We were welcomed by the father and son, passionate and very warm people. We also had a very good meal. To accompany our fondue, we received excellent advice on the local wine and digestif.

30/08/2026: Yes, it's a nice and unusual place, but paying 15 euros for a salad with two warm goat cheese croutons and a quarter of a tomato is frankly outrageous! I went home and ate, even though I'm not a big eater... Restaurant owners can complain, but sometimes it's better to go to McDonald's. Couldn't give it zero stars, so I'll give it one.

30/08/2026: A big surprise… the Google reviews are unanimously enthusiastic, and we were confident. The welcome was friendly, the service quick. But the food… bland. As bad as it gets. Simple, certainly, and that's not a bad thing, but truly uninspired and sometimes unpleasant. And on top of that, the bill: very steep! At €50 for three courses, sparkling water, and a glass of wine, you'd expect a decent meal, wouldn't you?

08/08/2026: I was too lazy to cook, so I thought I'd just go for it and never mind if it's not amazing. Well, what a surprise... I wasn't expecting such good quality from a vending machine. The portions were generous and the food was delicious.
