26/09/2024: Brasserie on the esplanade not really gourmet. Expensive prices for very average quality of cuisine. The chimichurri sauce was more oil than a real chimichurri sauce (especially when you know it). The cheese burger is ultra average. As much as the meat is good, the rest doesn't follow suit, including very bland fries. The bread is elastic. We were really disappointed. I don't recommend it and it's a shame for the servers who are really great.

05/07/2024: Very pleasant and friendly staff, very sorry for the situation.
Everyone we dealt with was very attentive. We were offered fans.
But it is not acceptable for a chain like Ibis Style to spend a night without air conditioning with rooms like in an oven.
Impossible to sleep without an open window but there is a risk of falling for our children who sometimes sleepwalk.
So we slept like in a greenhouse under the sun, that's to say we slept.
A chain like Accor should take action in this kind of situation.

15/10/2024: I simply came to sit down for a drink with a relative to chat, although it must have been early afternoon (2 p.m. maximum): which could explain why there were so many empty tables, because I was passing relatively often in front of this place and even the exterior can seem complete sometimes so...
However, the fact of having come during an off-peak hour allowed me to realize the speed of the service, and it made me want to come back

02/12/2024: We came to have a pleasant time with friends for dinner unfortunately it did not go as planned
My friend ordered green beans as a side dish which never arrived despite several reminders from him.
For the atmosphere, the waiter who was quite comfortable with the customers did not have a professional language but rather a familiar, borderline school language.
His manager, not making any remarks to him, suddenly decides to vacuum in front of the customers still present in the restaurant
Having heard the remark, he responds to the waiter “I don’t care”
To flee…
01/12/2024: Came last night as a family of 8, we were very well received at Hippopotamus. The tartare I had was delicious
Special mention to the waiter who served us, he was great and friendly!
We come from Châteauroux, if we come back to Nanterre, I think we will come back to Hippopotamus.

03/12/2024: For the price offered, it would be appropriate to review some dishes, as better quality can be found nearby. For example, the tiramisu deserves to be reworked: its texture and taste did not meet expectations.
I am convinced that this brasserie has potential and could retain its customers by making a few adjustments to its desserts or by offering a more refined homemade alternative. This would improve the overall customer experience.

15/09/2024: I went to eat on Saturday the 14th at noon. Very warm welcome. The only downside I had a Tatar steak and an hour later was sick to the point of vomiting so I was not able to enjoy the wedding to which I was invited.
On the road the people I was with ate at the restaurant, I was the only one sick. And the only one to have taken the tartare.
Please pay attention to the freshness of the products.
06/09/2024: I have never seen such unfriendly traders. The waitress screams across the room (it's not the south here), the manager is not smiling (the impression of disturbing him), the toilets are dilapidated compared to the rest, credit card is not accepted below of 10€ (don't worry given the prices you will far exceed them).
Positive point: the terrace in front of the town hall is very pleasant.

13/08/2024: Mauvaise soirée, et chère !
Un groupe se revendiquant leadeuses afropéennes a privatisé un partie de la terrasse et a hurlé toute la soirée dans le micro mis à leur disposition. Seulement les enceintes couvrent toute la terrasse.
On a subi leurs vociférations, leurs ventes de crème pour les pieds, de soupe de bambou ou de pansements à l'argile verte pendant 4h. Personne ne bougeait malgré les plaintes des clients.
Je n'y retournerai évidemment pas.
13/08/2024: Bad evening, and expensive!
A group claiming to be Afropean leaders privatized part of the terrace and screamed all evening into the microphone provided to them. Only the speakers cover the entire terrace.
We endured their vociferations, their sales of foot cream, bamboo soup or green clay dressings for 4 hours. No one moved despite complaints from customers.
I obviously won't go back there.

20/08/2024: The waiter forgot our coffee twice. He's not even sorry and when he finally served us, an old piece of sugar packet rose to the surface of the coffee. And he doesn't give me my change. All wrong.
16/08/2024: Not even a hello as he approached our table to take the order, just a nod to let me know he was waiting for me to give him what I wanted.
Excessive prices, I won't go there again.
