30/06/2026: I had the lunch menu which was excellent; the savory buckwheat crepes were very good, well-filled and crispy, and the sweet crepe—and I'm not usually a big fan—was absolutely divine! Thanks again to the owner for accommodating me at the last minute.

09/05/2026: The place is really lovely, beautiful location, architectural success! The idea of ​​combining a restaurant and a show is excellent. But there are three drawbacks: - Food quality: a €17 risotto, I'd like it to have some flavor - Service: the waiters are very friendly, but the owner, who is always around, could make an effort so her forced smile doesn't feel so forced - Show quality: even if they're beginners, when I pay €16 for admission, I expect the performer to have at least learned their lines! I recommend it for a drink, it's perfect!

21/04/2026: Lunch on the terrace at Bacchus, overlooking the Vilaine River. The dishes are simple but not overly so (special mention for the croque monsieur), the menu is short, and everything is very good. I recommend it!

24/05/2026: The galettes and crêpes were delicious. However, we had dinner with the sun beating directly in our faces. The management refused to change our table for dessert. Instead, we were charged for a Kir Royale instead of a "classic" Kir Breton. The moral of the story: the sun in your face costs you an extra €3.

28/06/2026: A very disappointing experience It was particularly hot in the dining room. Two women seated nearby were sweating profusely and trying to cool down with fans. When I asked if it was possible to turn on the air conditioning, I was told, quite seriously, "No, you'll suffer just like us." A frankly inappropriate response and rather revealing of their approach to hospitality. We then ordered steak tartare. As for the presentation, the tartare was served carelessly, in the form of a large, canteen-style plateful (see photos). In terms of taste and texture, it was more like meat mustard than actual tartare. About half an hour after eating, my daughter was overcome with violent vomiting and spent about twenty minutes in the bathroom. I obviously can't say for sure that the tartare was the cause, but when we reported what had just happened, the staff's only reaction was, "Oh, that's surprising." No concern for his well-being, no apology, no check with the kitchen... Beyond the problem itself, it was the staff's indifference and lack of consideration that deeply disappointed us. We will not be returning.

My wife and I arrived in Rennes temporarily on June 20th, and with a big appetite that evening, we discovered this restaurant with its lovely setting and great atmosphere 😺. The restaurant is divided into two sections: - one section for groups and a bit of a lively atmosphere - a more intimate section View of the kitchen and the chefs. The food: We ordered the two "Rennais" burgers and the duck burger, plus the profiteroles (which are definitely worth the trip) and a gourmet tea. Verdict --> everything was delicious and very flavorful. The burgers, wow (Burger King, you can't compete). Honestly, kudos to the chefs. The servers are friendly. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in Rennes again. Okay 🐺👍
