20/09/2026: We came without a reservation on a Thursday lunchtime and a Friday evening. A very warm welcome, very pleasant and smiling. Homemade and very good food. I give it 10 out of 10.

20/08/2026: Beautiful and delicious! We had a meat-based dinner, but I saw the next table enjoying the mussels as well. The interior is tastefully and pleasantly decorated. You can also dine outside.

19/07/2026: The owner is very friendly, accomodating and helpful. The food was delicious and decently priced. The rooms & bathrooms were also very clean. Flawless experience.

12/07/2026: The owner (great sense of humor) and staff form a great company: paying attention, being alert and very(!) friendly. All and all a A+ for hospitality. Than dinner. This was beyond expectations. I did not know what to expect (maybe just a nice dinner), but the cook really knows how to make the best out of it. Original and delicious. A Bib Gourmand would defitintly be a merit. Suggestion: no airco = perfectly fine for us. But a fan would be nice 😉

14/08/2026: A warm welcome and quick service, without succumbing to the overly affable manner of some restaurateurs. Here you'll find good, traditional dishes made with quality ingredients. No surprises, certainly, but above all, no unpleasant ones. A very good vintage of Plancoët sparkling wine from 2021.

24/07/2026: The waitress poured a quarter of your beer down the sink and charged you full price, and on top of that, she wasn't friendly. A smile wouldn't hurt 😤

11/09/2026: The food is excellent. The service is top-notch. The staff is very friendly. The best part is the stunning sea view. The rice pudding with its blackcurrant twist was a real treat.

08/09/2026: We had almost become regulars at Cap Horn, meaning we went once or twice a year. We won't be going back. Our meal on Sunday, August 30th, left a bitter taste. The food, in the €61 set menu, which is no small sum, seemed less refined than before: the vegetable tart, while undeniably beautiful, didn't live up to its visual appeal, and the side dish for the veal, which was excellent, left much to be desired: a salad stuffed with peas and broad beans that seemed frozen, all rather bland. Finally, the desserts were nothing special. As for the service, there was also a change of pace. The waiter at our table, while courteous, seemed eager to finish and displayed a nonchalance completely inappropriate for a fine-dining restaurant, for example, arranging the dishes and cutlery rather haphazardly and speaking so hastily that we didn't dare ask for further explanation. The sommelier, friendly but also in a hurry, didn't seem interested in going into the details we would have liked to learn, for a possible discovery. We were truly disappointed, but apparently we weren't the only ones.

27/08/2026: A great place! The best burgers around Liffré! With a huge selection of beers to enjoy on-site and to take away! Superb variety of high-quality, locally sourced beers.

24/08/2026: It was OK overall but nothing special. Great plus is that it works for a very late by French standards lunch

17/08/2026: A very good restaurant with excellent dishes and desserts. The service was good, but be aware that the tables were cleared too quickly, as my colleague had to rush to finish her plate while the waiter gave her a look. However, we will definitely return.

09/09/2026: ⭐️ A hidden gem just steps from the train station! ⭐️ Discovered by chance, this restaurant is a true surprise: creative and flavorful cuisine, where every ingredient, from the bread to the wine, including the coffee and water, is chosen with care and passion. The welcome is friendly and professional, the service attentive, and you can feel their genuine desire to please. A wonderful experience from the amuse-bouche to the coffee. A must-try!

17/09/2026: A warm welcome, the mussels in cream sauce were delicious, as was the burger. We appreciated that everything was homemade in a medieval setting! I highly recommend it. A lovely encounter with the restaurant owner.

06/09/2026: Perfect! A warm and friendly welcome, the dishes are homemade and excellent. My partner, a pastry chef by trade, insisted I pass on this message: Bravo to the chefs for the Kouign-amann, it was excellent!! (And to be honest, he's eaten several in different establishments, and he didn't like it as much as yours!) The buckwheat crepe options with vegetables, salmon, etc., are very interesting, and again, he thoroughly enjoyed them! (Me too, of course!!). A word to the wise: come without hesitation! One small suggestion for the establishment: it would be helpful to add curtains to the windows to prevent it from getting too hot. The sun beats down on the glass. Perhaps a thin thermal curtain that would let in light and that customers could choose to leave open or closed. Something to explore 🤗

20/09/2026: The food is delicious. The owner takes the time to explain the local suppliers, the little touches in each recipe, and all this with a great sense of humor. And yet, he's always on the go! We had a wonderful time.

01/09/2026: Absolutely fantastic. Incredible flavors in creative dishes. Each of us (3) ordered a different dish and we all loved it. As for the staff... a delight. The welcome was very pleasant. Definitely worth discovering... and returning to.

25/09/2026: Hello, a choice of starter, main course, cheese, wine, dessert, and coffee for €15.50 is a steal! The terrace is lovely, the staff is fantastic, and depending on the dessert, they have homemade salted caramel. I highly recommend this establishment. As for the chef's reimagined dishes, they are absolutely divine; I tried his shepherd's pie, it was amazing. And the portions are generous. Thank you to the team.
