17/05/2026: A pleasant little bistro with good value for money. The foie gras was a bit disappointing, but the vegetarian dish was excellent.

14/05/2026: A very disappointing experience at Chez Paul restaurant. We arrived 15 minutes late, which is understandable, but the welcome was immediately cold and unpleasant. The owner made this very clear: no smile, barely a glance, and a distinctly contemptuous attitude, while we, for our part, were polite and in good spirits. We were seated quickly, practically rushed to our table, with obvious pressure to order as soon as possible, as if the goal was simply to get us out of there quickly. But the worst was yet to come. While chatting quietly, I showed a short video (less than a minute, with low volume) to my friend. At that point, we received a very inappropriate remark, both from a customer and the owner, in an arrogant tone, criticizing us for using a phone, even though the restaurant was already noisy. The atmosphere became extremely tense. We then calmly asked the owner if there was a problem with us… and his response was to throw us out. He even took away the glasses of wine we had just ordered. We were expelled without any real explanation, under the pretext that we were causing a disturbance, which is hard to believe given the circumstances. For your information, we are three respectful people, one of whom is 62 years old and manages a well-known hair salon in Rennes, and all three are hairdressing professionals accustomed to customer interaction. And believe me, we will be spreading the word. This is the first time we have ever experienced anything like this. Being treated this way is unacceptable.

12/05/2026: We were a group of 36 people, and the service was excellent. The meal was superb. A wonderful experience that we'd love to repeat!

The website doesn't inspire much confidence (numerous bugs), no email confirmation once the order is placed (which doesn't improve trust), but the package arrived right on time to be placed under the Christmas tree and was well received by its recipient.

A very pleasant lunch in a restaurant where you feel right at home. They even asked if we had a time constraint: a thoughtful touch that's rare enough to be worth mentioning. Thank you!

08/06/2026: We received a Wonderbox "Romantic Table" gift voucher which promised, and I quote: "For 2 people, a meal with wine, champagne, or an aperitif." We booked a table at Le Troquet after paying an additional €10 to Wonderbox. When placing our order, the restaurant owner refused to offer us the wine, telling us it wasn't included in the voucher, despite the gift voucher I presented. His attitude, which we found very cold and detached, made us feel uncomfortable, as did his constant attempts to impose an extra charge. We do not recommend this restaurant, noting that the meal for two cost €136, of which €96 was from Wonderbox. For us, €10 from Wonderbox and €30 for a bottle of rosé is almost the price of a gourmet restaurant without the quality.

07/06/2026: We had a gift voucher for a meal at this restaurant. A very warm welcome and excellent service. The dishes were delicious and a real treat for the taste buds, beautifully presented with pretty little spring flowers. The chef was friendly and engaged in conversation. The atmosphere was lovely. We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. If you're ever in Cancale, don't hesitate to book a table at this restaurant.

17/05/2026: The driving range tracking software isn't working. It's frustrating not to be notified when buying the buckets.

08/05/2026: Magnificent! The golf course is meticulously maintained, with greens that rival the finest courses. The driving range, equipped with bays featuring radar and TV screens, makes you want to spend hours there. The clubhouse and restaurant are in a very pleasant setting. We will definitely be back.

07/06/2026: Highly recommended!! The perfect hotel for a visit to St. Malo. Family-run (mother, daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter), incredibly warm welcome. English is no problem. Fantastic tips for our two-day stay, including restaurant recommendations for the nearby "Fidelis" and "Bouche en Folie" (personal reviews, both excellent!). Located within the city walls in a relatively quiet side street near a gate. You can park your car across the street at the gate and it's best to leave it there (€13/24h in the off-season). You're right in the heart of St. Malo, the cathedral is just around the corner. Narrow stairs to the fourth floor. There's an elevator, although it wasn't working at the beginning of June 2026. Small suitcases are an advantage.... :-) The rooms are compact but spotless, very clean, and well-maintained. Everything you need is there. Good beds! Even flowers on the windowsill! Ours was on the third floor. The noise from the seagulls was so bad that we had to close the windows at the beginning of June. The highlight is breakfast, which is offered for an extra €15. Very reasonable! On the ground floor, you sit in a rustic setting surrounded by natural stone walls at lovely country-style tables. There's a lot of decoration, almost too much. The owners like it, and that's perfectly fine. Each guest receives their own small pair of tongs to take the pre-cut food. There are no knives provided. You don't cut anything yourself! Only the hosts cut bread, cakes, and other items: precisely what will actually be eaten. There's always something available. Wonderfully sustainable. Nothing is left over, nothing is thrown away! Very hygienic because no one touches the food. Fantastic bread, toast, various cakes (the apple cake is amazing!!!), juice, jam, and also delicious cheese and salami, attractively pre-sliced. Espresso, fresh orange juice, or egg dishes are available for a small additional charge. The ideal little boutique hotel. A place to feel at home!
