11/09/2026: A very pleasant time spent on this sunny Monday afternoon 🌞. A wonderful discovery and a fantastic welcome. Despite a large crowd before our visit and a nearly empty fridge, we were served and looked after exceptionally well. The charcuterie, cheeses, and wines are of high quality, and the owner is kind and attentive. Thank you very much.

14/09/2026: We had a very pleasant evening in a very refined setting. We hadn't made a reservation, but thanks to our kind insistence, the owner graciously found us an available table. We were pleasantly surprised by the exquisitely flavorful dishes served by a very professional and attentive staff. A succession of original and delicious amuse-bouches allowed us to appreciate a lovely bottle of organic Chinon recommended by the owner. A delicious salmon ceviche (GMO-free, antibiotic-free, etc.) with coconut milk and citrus. A duck breast served with a red wine reduction with morello cherries. And then a remarkable dessert featuring Roussillon apricots on a shortbread base... All this for incredible value, not to mention the charming smile of the hostess... We will gladly return. 14/09/2026: Absolutely fantastic! The owner is charming and welcomed us even though she was overwhelmed with customers on the full terrace. She seated us in a beautiful room. We were served by very pleasant staff, and the meal was a delight. We had salmon ceviche as a starter, followed by duck with morello cherry sauce – I'm still thinking about it! – and for dessert, the chocolate mousse was the best I've ever had. Perfect value for money. How lucky Chinon is to have this restaurant! Thank you again for welcoming us, Madam, to your magnificent restaurant, which you have decorated with such exquisite taste.

13/09/2026: If you're ever in Chinon, you absolutely must visit MAJA! From 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM, the first thing that strikes you is the warm smile and welcome from the owner and her team. Then there's the menu, which features high-quality, expertly prepared dishes. A delightful surprise for a popular brasserie located on a beautiful square. We went once… and went back the very next day! Best of luck to this excellent brasserie! Marie and Serge

10/09/2026: A really nice place. The staff are super efficient and friendly. Plus, they have a superb beer, La Vedette de Moortgat. One of the best beers in Belgium! Thank you. 🙏🏻

31/08/2026: We had a wonderful meal from start to finish... The staff were attentive and helpful. Special mention to Marie Pascaline who was so caring from beginning to end. I'm very picky about food and this restaurant delighted my taste buds.

14/05/2026: Everything was perfect for these 3 nights. Quality bedding, clean bathroom and toilet. The only downside was the terrace, which was covered in dirt that had probably been there for a few weeks, which was a shame. But overall, I was very happy with my stay here.
