09/06/2024: A warm welcome, quality homemade world cuisine made with great know-how, fresh products and a magnificent presentation! The cocktails are simply excellent, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, really top, we recommend them and we will return there on our next stopover in Chinon! A caring and very friendly team 👍
27/05/2024: We ate here tonight and are so impressed. The French staff were very friendly and genuine. They made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and different to a lot of local places. This is our second time here and we will be back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

01/04/2024: We arrived at 8, totally at the last minute and were very well received. The dishes were delicious (pollock, prawns and hamburger) and then the desserts... incredible. We don't forget the wine either! Thank you for this good time with the family.
30/03/2024: Perfect experience, we ate this lunchtime 4 adults and 2 children, we were delighted with the welcome, the speed of the service and what can we say about the meal!!! Everything was quality, fresh produce, home fries, we enjoyed ourselves, thank you very much!!!!

A traditional menu but with revisited dishes.
The vegetarian option does not appear but is made on request and really worked.
Only downside: the fries, so prefer to have an original dish with vegetables.
Their sweet and savory sauces are really successful and the cocktails too

On the other hand, we were disappointed with the quantities served in relation to the price paid and a little abrupt by the waitress in the way she communicated. I left the table with a pit in my stomach despite having a main course, a dessert and a glass of wine. The portions of fries are, for example, tiny. The size of the burger is shocking because it is so small.
It must be said that the prices are very high for an admittedly high-quality restaurant located in the provinces compared to restaurants of the same level in Paris or Versailles. In the end I find that the quality/price/quantity ratio is not there. Damage !

18/05/2024: Everything was perfect. However, the food didn't completely convince us. According to our taste, a bit of "oomph" was missing, so the dishes were a bit monotonous - according to our taste, someone else will probably find these dishes excellent.

In this establishment, a smile is essential, very low price €20 for starter + main course + dessert.
I highly recommend.

03/04/2024: Good welcome, very friendly staff. Very clean hotel.
02/04/2024: I cannot give an opinion because my wife and I were evacuated following the flood alert on the Vienne. As a result, I cannot make any comments because upon our arrival the person at reception warned us that she could not accommodate us, despite my reservation having already been paid because she had just received an evacuation notice from the mayor of the common. She took very good care of us by relocating us to another hotel in Chinon despite her distress and without any money on our part, she made arrangements directly with the other hotel. I can only say excellent service... I recommend and hope to be able to return for a stay in this recently renovated hotel.
