07/08/2024: Depuis le changement de propriétaire le café des arts retrouve tout son potentiel. Le cadre, les plats, le service excellent. Je félicite la patronne et tout le personnel, au passage le gratin etait une tuerie !
23/07/2024: Das Restaurant ist an einer gemütlichen Lage in Ornans. Seit Juni 24 wird das Restaurant von einem neuen Team geführt. Aus diesem Grund sind die alten Bewertungen nicht mehr aussagekräftig! Wir waren mehrmals im Café des Arts und jedesmal war die Bedienung äusserst freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr humorvoll! Das Essen hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt und war schön angerichtet. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt für uns. Wir empfehlen einen Besuch in diesem Restaurant wärmstens!

28/04/2024: Très bonne cuisine de qualité, humour du chef, gentillesse de la patronne tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour une excellente journée...
Toutefois afin de parfaire ces excellents plats il serait bien de servir le plat principal un peu plus chaud et de légèrement augmenter les quantités

12/09/2024: Passing through during a motorcycle ride, we were desperately looking for a restaurant open for lunch. After 3 hours, when everyone was closed, we came across this little restaurant by chance. Arriving late, we were still very well received, with a smile, in a rustic and friendly setting. The prices are very advantageous, for 22Euros per person, we had a salad, 2 starters, 1 main course and a dessert. We discovered new flavors with your typical dishes!

18/08/2024: It had rained and the waitress placed my glass in a small puddle that was on the table 😏, I asked her if she could wipe the table, which she should have done before putting the glass down, I I found it a bit fair though 👎
16/08/2024: A must if you are staying in Allevard, a tobacco bar with a very pleasant terrace on the square where you can drink something or eat an excellent ice cream in a holiday atmosphere 👍

Possible to take in a cone or jar and enjoy them on site.
A quick trip through the store which smells of chocolate allows you to fall in love a little more!
Special mention for the orangettes and lemonettes, a real delight!
24/08/2024: Everything was perfect, the ice creams are artisanal, we cannot deny it. We are welcomed with a smile and we are always given good advice on our ice cream choices 👍
The only downside is waiting for the cuts, when you enjoy yourself like this, you are in such a hurry to eat them 😁
Loyal customers are rewarded, believe me, with free bottles of water and almond pastes for my son who wanted to buy them to taste. In the end, they were offered. In short, go for it, you won't be disappointed. 😍

Indeed, this little detour is totally worth it!
The boss and his team are very welcoming, attentive and provide excellent advice to help you discover authentic and tasty cuisine, prepared with local products, especially which will remind us of traditional gourmet cuisine.
All for a very reasonable price.
