11/04/2026: A great find on the way to the train station. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, even among the pastries and viennoiseries. Quick service and pretty good products. Vegan prices are lower than in specialist shops in Grenoble.

27/03/2026: Meh and expensive. They've kept the prices but lost the taste.

01/03/2026: It used to be a good bakery, but now… the service is unpleasant, the saleswoman doesn't listen to our order, gets the price wrong, and the quality has dropped so much. Really disappointed.

25/02/2026: I bought some individual cakes, they're very good. However, I bought gluten-free ones, and the problem is the saleswoman didn't know what she was talking about. I trusted her, and luckily the person didn't eat them. Please don't sell without knowing what you're selling; otherwise, they're very good.

31/05/2026: A wonderful and successful Mother's Day! Thanks to Nadège and the team, the meal was very good on the outdoor terrace, the value for money was excellent, a pleasant place to relax on your summer days.

22/05/2026: Clearly: the prices are outrageous! Absolutely avoid this place. But many people must know about it because there weren't many people here tonight. Adults aren't allowed to accompany guests in the games, and they're not allowed to have drinks, etc. But paying isn't forbidden. The food is poor quality. Go to McDonald's, it's three times cheaper and the games are free!

29/08/2025: Very warm welcome, generous and excellent meal, the waitress smiling, efficient and professional!! The boss welcoming too, we will return there before our departure

23/08/2025: Overall, it's okay. On the other hand, €6 for a plate of frozen fries is expensive per kilo of potatoes!

25/04/2026: TERRIBLE… enchanting place nestled in the mountains but the managers take advantage of the location to charge sky-high prices for mediocre food and truly terrible service.

21/04/2026: Friendly welcome, fairly good quality food (except for the side vegetables which are closer to those offered in a canteen) but the bill adds up very, very quickly.

18/05/2026: Good coffee and croissants. Toilets very clean, but the reception really needs improvement.

07/04/2026: The man was extremely unpleasant, not even a smile. He spoke to us as if he were our father. If you need to use the restroom, make sure you go to the right place, or he'll yell at you, saying, "Are you even listening to me?!" (in a haughty tone). The food was okay, but we would have preferred croissants that hadn't been made in a week. I strongly advise against going there; run while you still can! 🙏

19/05/2026: A very pleasant surprise in Bourg-d’Oisans. A simple and friendly restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect after a long day of cycling in the Alpine passes. The dishes were good, generous, and very reasonably priced, which is becoming rare in tourist areas. The service was pleasant and quick. A great place to recharge before or after a bike ride. 🚴‍♂️🍽️

11/06/2026: Super friendly team! I'm from Morocco, visiting Grenoble for the first time. The Chardon Doré is beautiful and the perfect place to enjoy quiches. Thanks for the drink! 😊

04/03/2026: The welcome… how to put it… nonexistent. No greeting, not a glance, nothing. We had to wait over a minute before any interaction, while the gentleman finished his rugby game (clearly more important than the customers). When we simply asked if we could eat, the curt reply was, “No.” End of discussion. No explanation, no goodbye, not even a hint of a smile. We felt like we were bothering him more than anything else. If the restaurant's concept is “emotional self-service,” then it's a success. A shame, because before we even tasted the food, our appetites had already vanished. A truly disastrous experience; the customer service needs serious improvement.

05/06/2026: Very average service, zero welcome. The toilets could be dusted. Didn't try the food, but I'm not sure it was homemade.
