10/08/2026: What a shame, this little food place was so nice! The new manager spends all his time complaining and often closes early.
05/08/2026: One star for the location, really nice with a beautiful view of the lake. But at €8.50 for a tiny slice of quiche (tomato and mozzarella without tomato—they probably didn't have room), it wasn't worth it. I left with a practically empty stomach and the feeling of having been ripped off.
(For your information, they didn't have any savory crepes.)

15/08/2026: My girlfriend and I stopped by the bistro to see if they offered takeout, as we didn't have time to eat in. They were indeed offering the entire menu for takeout. The two ladies who served us were lovely, and they went out of their way to ensure we received the same level of service as if we had dined in. They spontaneously prepared a small bag of paper napkins containing the equivalent of a bread basket, along with sachets of mayonnaise and ketchup for our journey.
Thank you so much for these thoughtful touches – it was a real pleasure to receive!

30/05/2026: All-you-can-eat mussels and fries menu is expensive, even more so the salad as a starter. I ordered Roquefort sauce and there wasn't any, but on the bill, one euro more for the sauce, too expensive for what I know.

Restaurant la table de la fare

24/08/2026: Passing through Vaujany yesterday, we were looking for a restaurant for lunch. They were all closed except for one: La Table de la Fare. We read the Google reviews, some of which made us wonder. Never mind, we decided to give it a try, and what a pleasant surprise! We received a warm welcome, courtesy, and attentive service from beginning to end. Most importantly, everything was delicious and offered excellent value for money.
I highly recommend this establishment and wish them continued success and good luck.
19/08/2026: Appalling welcome and service... Second visit to this restaurant a month apart, and the experience was the same.
The food itself wasn't bad, but the unpleasant waiter ruined everything.

15/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant after visiting Vizille Castle.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from appetizer to dessert.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the waitress is gracious and very friendly, and the food is delicious.
We highly recommend it!
It's a shame we don't live in the area so we could come back.

29/08/2026: Appalling service from a staff member today; incompetent and extremely rude, showing absolutely no respect for the customer. She even mocked the customer with her colleagues as they left. We left very disappointed. We will be contacting management. It's a shame this person is causing you to lose customers.
21/08/2026: It's fantastic every time we come back, it's always great, nothing to complain about. They are all so friendly and polite. We will definitely be back again because for me and my husband, you are the best casino. 👍👍👍👍

21/08/2026: To celebrate my granddaughter's birthday, I invited my whole family for lunch on Saturday, August 15th.
I had ordered a cake, of course.
We were greeted by two lovely ladies who seated us inside, given the intense heat that day. My two granddaughters loved it, we had a wonderful time, the candles were perfect, thank you again.
17/08/2026: The owners and waitress were very friendly, and we always received a warm welcome. The food was excellent, as usual.

11/04/2026: Low-quality food, expensive drinks, unpleasant waiter, and to top it all off, they only accept credit cards for purchases over €20.
In short, I don't recommend it.
11/04/2026: We had a terrible experience. The waiter was particularly unpleasant: nonchalant, completely lacking in hospitality, and, even worse, openly mocking us as soon as our backs were turned. We felt like we were bothering him every time we ordered.
To top it all off, despite a large table and a hefty bill, the waiter refused to split the bill, forcing us to pay a single, very restrictive amount. A complete lack of flexibility and respect for the customer. I strongly advise against going there.

27/08/2026: The pan bagnat looked appetizing in the display case... until you actually opened it to look for the tuna, which was practically nonexistent and only in the middle. The bread was very hard and very thick. I had to remove the bottom crust. I've never been so disappointed by a sandwich from a bakery... (and it's the first time I've ever taken a picture of a sandwich).

The long opening hours are a big plus.
The lack of restrooms is a drawback.

27/08/2026: Based on the reviews, I hadn't planned to stop there despite having a Google Pass. We drove past on our way to the cable car and ended up stopping.
The welcome and service were pleasant and quick. The waitresses explained the characteristics of the specialties very well.

22/09/2026: The table looked lovely when we arrived, but upon closer inspection, the glasses weren't clean, and neither were some of the cutlery. There were flies on the fromage blanc and also on the chocolate cake, which was very nice. The scallop soufflé was dry. It's a shame, because the setting is beautiful.
08/08/2026: We went for lunch on a Friday.
Once seated, the "waitress" arrived, dragging his feet, his jeans not very clean. He looked at the sheet of paper he was holding, listed the two starters and two main courses he had left. We just had to choose… the same for dessert (a so-called tarte Tatin).
We were very surprised, especially since this establishment had been recommended to us.
Our dishes looked nothing like what we saw in the photos.
Therefore, I won't be recommending it.

22/08/2026: This crêperie, unfortunately, doesn't live up to what one would expect from a good crêperie. The savory crêpes are sparsely filled, and the sweet crêpes lack a soft texture, with a very elastic consistency and little filling (industrial chocolate).
The only positive aspect of the evening was the waitress, who was very kind, smiling, and pleasant. It's a shame, because the service was excellent, but the quality of the crêpes was lacking. We do not recommend it.
18/08/2026: If I could avoid giving a star rating, I would.
No bread, no water, and no fresh ingredients. I agree with the previous comments. A burger for €17 that's just frozen ground beef with a brioche bun from Intermarché, two tiny pieces of tomato, and loads of sauce. A buckwheat galette, "la tartiflette," was bone dry. The portions need to be reviewed; we left hungry. Avoid this restaurant.
