29/09/2024: Un peu decus par les saveurs pas tres gouteuses. Tres joli cadre et service sympatique mais l essentiel c est quand meme ce qu il y a dans l assiette.. ! L esthetique prime sur l experience culinaire un peu fade. Honnête mais sans plus.

23/09/2024: Correcte ontvangst, maar er was geen lunch kaart alleen een 3 gangen lunch menu, wij waren op doorreis dus wij hadden niet veel tijd hiervoor

02/09/2024: Nous sommes arrivés à 9 et nous avons tous très bien mangé, les plats ont tous été très bons. Toutefois, c'est dommage que le service ait été un peu trop pressé et les portions auraient pu être plus grandes (j'ai pris le filet de boeuf avec gratin de raviole à 29 euros le plat seul et j'aurais aimé un gratin un peu plus grand au vu du prix)

01/09/2024: En ce 31 août réservation obligatoire, beaucoup d' attente qui s explique par un restaurant complet ,bon on est là pour en profiter!!!!! donc ça passe avec des serveurs formidables ,à l' écoute .Bonne ambiance avec les lampions malgré les fumeurs qui ne peuvent pas se passer de fumer à table...... Une bonne soirée tout de même merci à l' équipe.

06/09/2024: A very good time spent in this establishment, the 23.5 formula is really great. Delicious andouillette gratin dauphinois, very tasty. I will go back!

04/09/2024: Quite a disappointing experience. High prices for average dishes. The fish fillet and duck breast were very poorly cooked... The setting is quite nice but that doesn't justify everything.

15/08/2024: Joli décoration montagnarde. Tous.les plats sont excellents et copieux. Les desserts sont à tomber ! L.accueil est sympathique. Le restaurant dispose d'une terrasse fort agréable l'été.

26/08/2024: A big plus for the appetizer which was hummus. Bravo for the initiative. Be careful with the other dishes, however: the pasta had no taste and was overcooked while the chocolate cake was overcooked inside. The service was good otherwise.

22/01/2026: Overall, the dishes were very appealing visually, but unfortunately the flavors did not live up to expectations. The restaurant seems to be aiming for a bistronomie style, but the execution still needs refinement and more depth. For example, the lamb was overcooked, served with almost no sauce, and the different elements on the plate did not work well together. We had a similar experience with most of the dishes: pleasantly surprised by their presentation, yet consistently disappointed by the taste. The only exception was the dessert, which was good, although overly sweet. We also noticed other guests complaining about the cooking of their fish, which suggests this was not an isolated issue. Finally, the service was disappointing at the end of the meal. The bill was brought to us immediately after dessert, without us asking for it, which made us feel rushed and unwelcome. Considering the price range and the quality of other restaurants in Alpe d’Huez, Le Génépi was a disappointment

22/01/2026: This restaurant came recommended, so we were expecting something quite tasty. Unfortunately, the food turned out to be very average, and the service was extremely slow at times.
