15/02/2026: This isn't the first time we've eaten at this inn, and every time we've had a wonderful meal! Last night, monkfish tails for my wife, sweetbreads with morels for me… a real treat, a delight! No airs and graces, just simple dishes, but very well prepared, and sauces to die for! All at very reasonable prices considering the quality of the ingredients. Thank you to the whole team!

A reduced menu at very reasonable prices for impeccable gastronomic quality: the sweetbreads are to die for. A must-try in this little corner of the countryside that we recommend 200%.

07/03/2026: The restaurant is ideally located with a beautiful view of the Loire River. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not live up to our expectations. The dining room was unheated, which made the meal unpleasant and prevented us from fully enjoying the experience. The starter was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. However, the shrimp were overcooked and poorly cleaned. The main course was rather bland. The cheese course was disappointing: the center of the cheese was still frozen. For dessert, the chocolate sauce and caramel seemed artificial, and the French toast wasn't soaked enough. The overall impression was mixed, especially considering the price of the set menu (€55), which seems high for the quality offered. In this price range, it's possible to find establishments of a much higher standard. Finally, the experience was marred by a mistake at the register and a mix-up with one of the dishes. In summary, a remarkable location, but the culinary offering and service deserve improvement to justify the price charged.

16/03/2026: We came for dinner on Saturday evening; the restaurant was full but very quiet; it's not noisy at all, which is very pleasant! We had a very good meal, and my daughter, who is gluten intolerant, was also able to enjoy a full meal. The place is unique and very pretty. The products are locally sourced, which is a real plus, especially considering the very reasonable price.

The price, while admittedly high, is more than justified given the quality of the food served. I highly recommend this gourmet restaurant, typical of the Blois region. We will return and recommend it!

08/01/2026: I agree with the reviews describing it as the best restaurant in Vendôme. The dishes are refined and elegant, made with fresh, seasonal produce, always with a touch of originality! The wine list also prioritizes local producers, which is a plus for those who want to discover the Vendôme region through their palates. A couple of minor drawbacks, however: while the interior decor is very well done, the exterior is unfortunately quite unappealing. The dining room is rather large, and despite the small number of seats, it can sometimes be quite noisy. Also, be sure to make a reservation, as the restaurant is very popular and is usually full!

09/03/2026: I love coming to Miss Goumard's; it's an incredible place, a timeless haven where you feel as cozy as under a blanket! Fanny's cooking is delicious, made with love, and the ingredients are fresh and local. I highly recommend the experience for families, couples, or groups of friends! The problem is, once you've tasted it, you'll be hooked! 😉

04/03/2026: A very good experience at this small country restaurant. We were in a group, and we ate very well; the cuisine was refined, and the dining room was quiet. The service was a little slow, but that's probably due to the size of our group. I highly recommend it.
