29/09/2024: Very warm welcome, very friendly staff, very good dishes

28/09/2024: Price-quality is excellent here. From both the food and the wine. To be completely honest, we thought their sister restaurant 'L'oratoire' was slightly better in terms of quality and service. Perhaps that was also because we were upstairs. The acoustics here are not very optimal and the light was very sharp and shrill. That was better downstairs.

13/08/2024: Un grand plaisir d'avoir séjourné dans l'une des chambres et de dîner au Relais de la Tour !!! Des amuse-bouches au dessert (.... en passant par le petit-déjeuner), quantité, qualité et présentation, tout est parfait !! Les mets sont raffinés et délicieux, les propriétaires particulièrement sympathiques et au petit soin, et tellement agréable de dîner sous les arbres, les pieds dans l'herbe. Et nous n'oublierons pas d'adresser nos félicitations à la jeune serveuse.

28/09/2024: Takeaway this evening, hot and good dishes, I congratulate the chef. A little expensive but if it's good you can make an effort from time to time. On the other hand, we who were happy to eat poutine were quickly left cold. I arrived to collect my order and found a woman with a cold welcome, prompt payment and a goodbye without a glance. I felt like a nuisance, we won't go back

20/09/2024: Déjeuner très agréable. Cuisine excellente et savoureuse et de bons produits! Produits simple mais tellement bien préparés. UN délice et pour un bon rapport qualité prix. A NE PAS MANQUER ce restaurant est dans le guide du routard depuis 2008 et vaut le déplacement.

12/09/2024: Stay away from this hotel!!! This hotel claims to be a 4-star hotel, however the reality could not be further from this. The “service” is the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel and is less than 1 star. Everything at this place is only about making money, everything else is secondary to that. Making money should be a consequence of the service and product you offer, not the other way around. Last week I stayed here for 1 night. I was treated very rudely by both the hotel manager and the manager of the restaurant. I had given the wrong credit card number by accident when I booked a room directly with this hotel the day before the overnight stay. Upon arrival at 5 PM, I offered to pay for the room in advance and give my driver's license as collateral. The hotel manager acted very difficult and treated me rudely. Even though I had paid the room in advance and surrendered my driver's license, he insisted that I provide the correct credit card information. Due to circumstances, I needed my partner for this who was not available at that time. I told the manager I would bring the details later that day by 10 PM. I ordered room service. The restaurant manager came to bring my food and since there was no table in the room to eat at I told him to just put the tray on the bed. He toppled the bottle of Coke and it fell over the plate of food on the bed. The food was scattered all over the tray. He just left everything like that. As he stayed in my room he started again that I should give the credit card information at the reception desk. It was only 7:15 PM. He said I had until 10 PM and otherwise I had to leave the hotel. When I reported to the front desk with the correct credit card information the receptionist also told me to pay for the food right away?!?!? As a result of this horrible experience, I waived breakfast and left in the morning without eating. They offer room service but not the facilities to make decent use of it. At night as I lay in bed and tried to sleep, there was a cockroach in my bed. I had to kill this one before I could try to sleep. I lay awake for a long time that night from these unpleasant experiences in the hotel. The staff (including the managers) speak very poor English so having a conversation is difficult. Making an official complaint to the hotel proved impossible so I would like to save everyone from coming to this hotel by writing a bad review. Please stay away from this place because this place is all about money and the hotel staff. A hotel is a service you provide to your guests and make money from it, not the other way around. Bad, bad, bad!

11/09/2024: We spent two days in this establishment as part of our business seminar. Everything is there to have a pleasant time: setting, quality of service, smiling staff always ready to help you, excellent food and wine... A moment of happiness in a green and relaxing setting! A little unusual side thanks to the possibility of sleeping in a lodge! 🤩

19/09/2024: Service excellent, serveuse à l'écoute et souriantes, les glaces sont excellentes, gouter framboise litchies - roses. Repas simples mais frais et de bonne qualité.

08/09/2024: A really lovely French café with friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. We were a little late in the day (around 5pm) for a coffee and treat, so the selection was limited, but we very much enjoyed our coffee, hot chocolate, almond croissant (which was more like a bread pudding) and chocolate caramel fondant. Reasonable price. Despite it being quite busy, the service was fast and friendly. Very reasonably priced. Only thing missing was a bit of whipped cream or chantilly sauce on the desserts, though we didn't even think about it at the time. Maybe you can ask for that separately.

06/09/2024: Restaurant with almost unbeatable value for money, homemade dishes, a choice of very interesting products, the dishes are very well stocked, and have incredible flavors! (I think these are the best chicken spring rolls I have ever tasted). The service is very good, we had very friendly, organized servers who took care of us, thank you!

01/09/2024: While passing through, we had lunch there on a Sunday, taking the full menu for €35. Certainly more expensive than during the week. Everything was delicious. Local cuisine, very well presented. It remains a very good quality/quantity/price ratio. Perfect service, friendly atmosphere, full restaurant. I highly recommend

A warm atmosphere with cooking over a wood fire, much more in the world of Courtepaille, a perfect welcome, smiling and even throughout the meal, attentive with good advice, cooking as requested, very well balanced in terms of flavor. An establishment that cares about its customers, simply thank you. I will of course come back.

21/09/2024: A little hard to find when relying on a car--Google Maps didn't understand that it was on a different level in the city. We ended up figuring it out by parking down in the square below and walking up the stairs. The stairs are plentiful and steep but there's a railing and a bench halfway up. (Our parents needed this help.) But then we got to this charming little restaurant and got to sit on their beautiful terrace that overlooked the city and river below. The food was worth the treasure hunt! Although we've been loving the French fare, we were ready for a little something different and this delectable Italian cuisine fit the bill.
